Hi, your water is very clear, do you really have to siphon your filter 3 to 4 times a day? I dint have time to do that.
Hello Phat, the siphoning you see here in this video, where I was using that giant siphon, I do that every weekend during the cleaning of the brush chambers. Basically that keeps the water clear and the UV lights too.

Hello An, its available on hardware stores. Just tell them you're looking for a large siphon used to draw liquid like diesel from steel drums.

Hi my pond water was initially very green. Now I'm noticing it is becoming like the tea coloured one. Do you think it is because of the waste accumulating in the bottom of the filter and whether it is bad?
It be a good idea to clean out that collection of deposit at the bottom of your filter. In time that deposit will go into rotting state and that's when it goes bad for the water and bad for the fishes.
It requires effort bro but I assure you it'll fix your water and the fishes will be happy.

Just had a pond for 1 month and has cleaned it once. Recommend nyo po ba na every week ang linis ng pond? may teabag effect yung akin.
Hello AV, if you can do a weekly cleaning of the mechanical filters you will have better water quality. So I highly recommend it.
Some hard core koi keepers do the mechanical filter cleaning daily.

Lacto Pafi Probiotics is actually a food supplement for human consumption.
Para sa tao talaga ang Lacto Pafi. Same ang effect if given to koi. As a food supplement it aids in better digestion of food resulting in better absorption of nutrients. This is done via the bacteria living inside each other bottle of Lacto Pafi.

That is correct Shem, its a siphon hose, only bigger. This siphon is used to draw liquids from those large steel drums you see at gas stations. That's were I saw the idea of using them for the pond.
