Cutting acrylic: milling vs. laser machine | Werner + Plank

What are the differences between a router and a laser when cutting acrylic? What are the respective advantages and disadvantages in the production of signage and displays?
We visited and interviewed Mr. Plank, the managing director of the successful lighting and metal technology manufacturer Werner + Plank. With their Trotec SP3000 they were able to reduce processing times by 50%.

Thanks that was a great, Having both machines is side by side shows the great speed in cutting, The CNC can do amazing carving and the Laser amazing cutting.
I try hard to make them work together, with small success at the moment, I think in the future they will be combined!
