This boss made me remeber of Excalibur sonic as well. And after that I started to think how cool it would be if we had a game were Sonic needs all of his transformations for each boss. Like, against this one, he would need to colect the swords and become Excalibur Sonic, in another challenge, he would need the elastic arms of Werehog and so on. The final match would be either Super Sonic or Hyper Sonic.
I wonder how much effort it would take to make Sonic's base form how it is in the original, just the glove, then have the Super model change to this? Maybe drop in a Caliburn model on his back too? I think having that on his Super form would look too busy though. If that could be done I'd like to see a Secret Rings version too, with the ring and Darkspine. I think the flame might be too ambitious of an effect for the state of modding rn
I would love to have a sword modded into his hand, just make it part of sonic's mesh with no hitbox of its own. just pretend all his punches are just the sword.
You know what would be a great addition to this mod? If the magic circles behind sonic during his finisher in Sonic and the black knight were part of the super sonic model
I am waiting for someone to pull a sonic generations and make mods like the real knuckles mod and the real tails mod or somehow change the combat using sonic and the black knight as reference with the sword, I am willing to believe it will happen cause sonic fans are really fucking crazy
@@gaintslash366 to be fair that's kind of different since m64 Mario was made with the original code of m64 and someone polished to code for it to be used as mods, the real tails mod, real knuckles mod and real silver mod have their mechanics built from zero I believe, cause no recent modern game has had knuckles gliding and climbing nor tails flight both of those sharing with the boost, you can check the dev streams of the creator, those mods are real quality stuff
