Never thought I would watch a 2 hour video of a car dealer, but Carl is more than that, not just a passionate car connoisseur, but a very well-spoken business man who is absolutely entertaining to listen to. Finally, refreshing someone to speak the truth, I cannot get behind the electric car game, the sound, the smell of exhaust, the shifting of gears, the curves, the exotic looks, and then there were the posters I had on my wall as a kid. What is so refreshing is my kids are the same, my 16-year old daughter, loves the cars from the 60's and 70's, my younger son, he loves the exotics...neither are interested in the 'boring' EVs. I miss the F1 racing sounds from even 10 years ago, electric just does not do it for me, no soul.

Great chat. I love the financing argument. The reality is that car loans are expensive (interest) and now it is very difficult to invest the same amount to cover the cost. Every 100k in a car will cost between 5%to 10% a year (or more) before other costs. Very few investment bring this after tax…this is part of the reason of the crash.
