When I was a little girl I was afraid I was possessed by a demon and I went to my Dad with my concerns. My Dad opened the Bible to 2 Corinthians 6:15. He then pointed at my heart and said "Jesus doesn't let demons stay in HIS house".
Yeah cause demons don’t posses people if you read in the Bible the correct interpretation is people where under demonic influence not possession. So clearly you can see that Christians can be under demonic influence. That’s why the Bible says resist the devil and he will flee enemy is looking who he will devour.

Whenever the focus is any part of the Bible rather than Jesus of the Bible, the church loses its purpose. Deliverance IS a part of the gospel but it should NEVER be the focus of the gospel. Same with prosperity, same with prophecy, same with holiness; same with tongues, all are elements but JESUS is the point. Whenever the point becomes anything but Jesus false doctrine creeps in.

I have seen people even had friends who woke up knowing that a demon had sex with them, some of them even woke up with their underwear off or missing…. What you're talking about is that certain people have been called for a specific ministry to have a certain focus in their work. However, it's the focus of their ministry, not of the gospel, so it should not be the focus of their message and it can never be the totality of their message. If someone's ministry is healing, they can't come and make you believe God heals everybody just because they get to heal everybody they touch. The Bible describes times when Jesus didn't heal everybody around him. Problem is, most people are not gonna go follow the person's ministry in person to know if they preach the entire gospel. The only access they have to the person is online for the vast majority of people so if you make your message unilateral online, you're promoting a half message to most which will lead many to error. When I saw this video I got excited!! But as someone who was heavily into the deliverance ministries I once believed this doctrine and I realized I didn’t have a “spiritual spouse” problem it’s just easier to blame misfortunes on that instead of just accepting I was disobedient to God and needed to get right!
I’m so confused to what everyone is talking about, spiritual spouses and all that. I’ve literally had a demon leave me the very moment I turned to Christ. Are we saying demons aren’t real..? Because even Jesus believed in demons and cast demons out of many in the New Testament.

I don't know about this whole spiritual spouse or how deliverance ministries are using these terms but I will share that demonic attacks are real as I experienced that at a time in my life where I was in the world and the demonic attacks were perverted and it occured with sleep paralysis. I also personally knew a guy when I was in the military that would go back to his barracks and lay there because a demon would come and give him pleasure. He did this until he realized his son was experiencing the same thing. So with that said, I feel where you are coming from with this video but to completely disregard those spiritual attacks is foolishness. The quote " Don't throw the baby out with the bath water" applies here.
The issue here isn't that demonic attacks or sleep paralysis aren't real, but that there are supposedly saved followers of Christ that feel that are at the mercy of demonic hauntings or whatever.
I don't believe in that spiritual spouse stuff either but I wish he would have addressed why Christians experience these types of attacks. I'm abstaining and still feeling something is touching me sexually in my dreams.

I recently was almost deceived by the deliverance doctrine, It created so much turmoil within me… I prayed and started to read scriptures that affirms we can’t be believers and have the Holy Spirit in us while also being demon possessed. Jesus did the deliverance for us with His death and resurrection. HE SAID, “IT IS FINISHED”. 🙌🏾

I'm a born-again Christian who lives to serve Jesus daily and still get attacked sexually in my dreams by demonic spirits. I rebuke it. I know I'm saved, redeemed and washed clean by the blood. But I'm definitely under spiritual warfare and testing in this season.
I think he was just talking about people that know they have lustful thoughts and aren’t living right but want to blame the dreams on demons. He probably needs to clarify this then because they’re some people doing everything they can to live right and still have these experiences. We know from the book of Job that you don’t necessarily have to be living in sin to get attacked by the devil. Sometimes God allows bad things to happen. It’s like telling a person with cancer that God didn’t heal them because they didn’t pray enough. 🥴
Not so sure on this one. Are you saying spiritual oppression during sleep doesn't happen and cannot happen? Some biblical references to support the idea may be wrong/misplaced but that cannot mean that it doesn't exist. Just the other day in my sleep I felt an evil force entering my bedroom and I literally couldn't move even when I wanted to, and I shouted the name of Jesus for the evil force to leave. It eventually did. What then can stop such an evil force to force itself unto us sexually or otherwise. There are people who have experienced or encounter unknown men as (you said mostly women)who visit them at night and molest them, they find themselves helpless in these situation. They are people with neither lustful thoughts nor exposed themselves to such. The fact that we cannot find biblical references to relate cannot render real experiences non-existent Cal it it Spiritual Spouse or whatever, these evil things are experienced by real people out there. We are all in a journey of learning and don't know it all. So glad you touched on this, but I think you are wrong to say its impossible for people to have such experiences. I used to have such dreams where I would feel someone is in the room or the other room coming to attack me and I would scream (without being heard)in Jesus's name then woke up and nothing was there. I talked to fellow Christians and other non believers and some told me they had experienced the same exact thing that I faced though the non believers would just struggle to wake up without saying in Jesus's name. After sometime of research I came to realize that I was experiencing what's called sleep paralysis where your subconscious mind wakes up before your body unlocks you can Google it. I'm not dissimising your point, but what I'm saying is that, not everything that happens to us is demonic related.
Our problem these days is that we raise our personal experiences above Scriptures or we put them on a pedestal. "It happened to me so it must be true." If the Bible doesn't give precedents on an event, it is likely to be a scheme of the Devil. We must not be ignorant of the devices of the wicked. In Spiritual warfare, the Sword (The Word) is the only offensive weapon. We bring into subjectivity every high sounding doctrines, man made ideas, superstitions that exalt itself above the truth of the Word. Amen.
That was sleep paralysis. You don't need to add to the Bible. The New Testament is filled with followers of Christ after his Resurrection and what their lives were like. Nowhere does it say demons are able to have dominion over them whether asleep or not.

Jesus did deliver the man from an unclean spirit. Additional, it says in the Ephesians 6 that we must equip ourselves with the full armour of God as we do not fight against flesh and blood. That was an instruction. So Mr Parr please explain this, respectfully.
But that demon did not have intercourse with the man yes it is possible to be possessed but God already took away the angels who had intercourse with the woman so to have that kind of theology you are switching scriptures
To help answer your question: the context of Ephesians 6 is guarding ourselves against "the schemes of the devil" v.11. The schemes are many, it is not explicitly talking about possession or even demonic oppression. Believers of the risen Jesus Christ with the seal, the proof, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit do not need to fear possession. How can a demon and the Spirit of God indwell the same body? I assume you're referring to Mark 1? If so, there is nothing to indicate that the man with the unclean spirit had prior interaction or belief in Jesus. I also know of none who were healed/restored having a repossession or another possession. If you encounter any force of darkness, the wise thing to do is pray to the Almighty Sovereign God. He is always with you and He will help you. James 4:7 says, " Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." If the devil will flee, will not all his underlings? The context here that the audience was NOT resisting the devil. Ephesians 6 is a charge very much in line with the message of this video, very much in line with putting to death the sin nature, putting off the old, putting on the new--which includes that full armor of God. The man was not saved until Jesus cast the demon out of him. Remember, salvation did not come by Grace until after Jesus’ death and resurrection. The ‘few that found salvation’ before Grace were under the Law. Only few understood, like Abraham and David that salvation only came by believing God for His righteousness to save them. It was their belief in His faithfulness-not in their selves to save them. All the Jews were under the Law like the demon possessed man. Salvation came to Him in the Person of Christ.

12:06 - there was no "developed doctrine" about fallen angels taking human women for wives and having children with them. The Bible says it actually happened, so this wasn't some contrived interpretation of what the scriptures say. The Bible is actually quite clear about what happened. Also, these fallen angels who took the form of human men in order to have relations with women weren't demon possessed. That isn't scriptural. Nowhere in the text does it says, "and demons inhabited these fallen angels in men's bodies...". No. They were sinful angels. In much the same way that all humans are born with a sinful nature. We aren't possessed by demons if we sin, and the fallen angels weren't either. The Bible also does not say that God has bound every single demon, and that they no longer walk this Earth. Ephesians 6:12 says, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." Jude 6 isn't referring to demons. It is clearly referring to the very specific group of ANGELS who fell with Satan and mated with human women. How do we know? Because the word used is angels, not demons or demon possessed angels in men's bodies. No, it says angels. Do not add to the Bible things that are not there. 2 Peter 2:4 isn't referring to demons, or demonic spirits. It is literally referring to fallen angels. It says so. It uses those exact words. Your teaching is not based in scripture, nor do you have an understanding of how demons operate. I'm fed up and tired (to use your words) of people like you twisting God’s word in an attempt to sound like you know what you're talking about. You should do more studies on this topic. I didn’t have a deliverance team cast out night demons, but I did have some ppl at church pray over me. I didn’t have lust issues and am in a happy marriage. But one month last year I had too many sexual attack dreams that it had to be from the devil. No more attack dreams since then. Now I just have dreams where I cast out evil spirits and struggle to say “Jesus” in the dream…
There are different types of lust, lust of the flesh is the first sometimes the only type of lust we think of. There is lust for attention, approval, money,monet, and more.
Jesus said out of the heart comes adultery, lust, fornications and the like-Matthew 15:19-not a demon. I’m sure you convinced yourself you had a demon and convinced yourself it would not be gone until someone prayed over you. When our minds are not renewed by the Word of God, we can fall into deception.
That frozen feeling and being unable to speak is a physiological phenomenon called ‘sleep paralysis.’ Everyone becomes paralyzed at some point during sleep. What happens when we sense we cannot move is that our brains have awakened before our bodies are awakened. Check out David Diga Hernandez’s in depth teachings of spiritual warfare. A lot of what we experience is not from the enemy. But, the enemy takes advantage of those times in our sleep to plant lies in our minds-laughing at our ignorance and causing confusion.
Im so glad to find this video as I was getting deeper into wanting to do deliverance ministries bc of a popular "UA-cam podcaster" whose name I want to say so badly, but won't. I would watch his videos intently. Then, one day, I felt wrong watching them, like he wasn't really working for God and Jesus but instead put more focus on the enemy. I've since seen a couple videos that aligned with what the Holy Spirit was helping me to avoid. When someone says, "God showed me, told me ..." Ehhh.... But did He? When someone is constantly referring to churches that approach the Bible in a relationship way as gummy bear teachings and weak, it's time to take a step back. When someone is calling out people in his own chat as heretics and demon possessed because they don't agree with his teachings, it's time to question their own validity. When someone focuses more on themselves casting out demons than Jesus being The Truth, The Way and The Light... It's time to walk away. 💜💜💜
I had a lot of demonic oppression before I became a Christian and still did for a short while after I came to Christ- I soon realised that I had to call on Jesus to help me and threw myself into the scriptures every day- after this everything stopped. If I sense anything around me I rebuke them in Jesus’ name and they flee. It has basically stopped because they realise I belong to Jesus and they will never be able to take me away from him. All it takes is our commitment to the Lord, not a deliverance ministry.
Spirit husband/wives are REAL. How would you explain someone having sexual dreams with some random man/woman every night ?? Then you wake up felling violated! Defiled! I personally experienced this. And I knew it wasn’t right. I wasn’t living in sin, no masturbation, no porn but I knew I needed deliverance! They are real. In some families, they will marry you to à spiritual deity like mamy water. Once my friend told me, her family married her to à deity, so that in réal life she won't get marry to any man. As a woman without a husband and barten, she can better take care of her parents' family. She married in real life 2 times, and al ended in divorce. She's over 60 without a child. There are also where wicked people will put one on your way. Some have had experience with their spiritual spouses in dreams and many other examples. This guy shouldn't say they sont exist.

I feel the passion in this video. I love this, as I know how hard it is to not get angered by false teachers but to correct them lovingly. And you did better than I would. It really is a fear tactic, but it also shows the lack of time many believers spend in the Word.

I am disappointed with how divisive this video is. I agree with most of your points about spiritual spouses and the poor interpretations of these verses. However, not all preachers in deliverance ministry are using fear tactics and trying to manipulate people. There are genuine believers who love Jesus and also teach deliverance. The tactics talked about here do happen, but it's not everyone. This is too great of a generalization.
As a woman who has been anointed by the Lord and has burning passion for deliverance the only thing that is wrong is people in the body of Christ not knowing the enemy we face. If you start looking at the testimonies of ex-warlocks who were high ranking in the occult, satanism, and witchcraft you all begin to think way differently if you understood how organized the kingdom of darkness really is. The greatest trick that Satan ever made the world believe is that he doesn’t exist and the enemy you’re facing doesn’t have power. When in reality he just doesn’t have power or authority over Jesus Christ (since he is defeated) and Christ will DEFEAT HIM AGAIN. However if you think the for we face is “weak” you have missed it. Deliverance is required and the things that many people face is under the influence of something spiritual not physical.
I'm a minister that operates in deliverance. I love Allen Par and a lot of his teachings but this is one that he is not correct on! It's a lot of generalities and inaccuracies in this teaching. This is what happens when someone tries to teach on something from the outside in with no experience.

I was in this deliverance movement simply because I grew up in a background that embraced it. I thank God that He by providence opened my eyes to a biblical understanding of interpreting His Word.
During the first five days of 2024, I was so tormented by the enemy because of the sins that I had done last year. I literally had chestaches because of too much emotional pain. But on the 6th day of January, the Lord delivered me from those demons that attacked me - demons of self hate, lust, condemnation. Jesus healed me from my brokenness. And He also told me to surrender my will into His will and to forgive. If that's not deliverance for you, then what is it called?
“He also told me to surrender my will into his will and to forgive.” That sounds like repentance, if Jesus delivered you from that attack and then told you to repent. It would seem like many of us, when we live in sin, those actions invite the enemy to attack. Allen Parr isn’t saying demonic attacks don’t occur. What he is saying is to be wary of these so-called deliverance ministries taking the Bible out of context, and creating doctrines that aren’t founded in anything that the Bible actually talks about.

I have prayed for people and I have seen God delivered them from this spirit, and I have heard them confessed with their mouth how they've been tormented for years..... and how they no longer experienced it. So I can tell you from experience.....that which we have seen, hear and handled.....not speaking about things I have no knowledge of. I am in a deliverance ministry. I have personally seen, multiple people set free from...example: Anger, generational curses from Free Masonry, Occult. And many other things. So if you don't believe in deliverance, are you endorsing Free Masonry? Melissa Dougherty is a blessing because when I first got saved from the New Age I stumbled across alot of deliverence teachers and fell for their doctrine for a time. Melissa thankfully popped up too in my youtube algorithm and I was able to think more objectively and critically leading me to cross reference deliverance teachings to the bible... and realizing a lot of these deliverence ministers were twisting scripture and taking things out of context. Deliverence teachers seem to think a lot more subjectively and base their doctrine on experience rather than the bible.

I think denomination aside look for a church with sound/correct doctrine. The only one who can save you is Jesus, but a good Christian community is a nice thing to have in life. I go to a Baptist church. I took my time finding a church where I felt safe at and I could cross reference sermons to the bible to make sure everything being preached was correct. Don't give up and pray for God to guide you to your church family! 🙏🏻

HOWEVER… it appears as though you’re speaking on a topic you’ve not actually had a first hand experience with. You know… actual spiritual manifestations and warfare that doesn’t solely come from our own selves?? Would you call me a liar or deceived if I told I was watching back a livestream of a pastor street preaching, whom was casting demons out of me and I saw actual physical manifestations as they came out? Yeah I would call myself crazy before I experienced it for myself. I had such a geneuine peace after that, like a streamline to the Lord with no distractions. The Holy Spirit was just free to flow. It’s important to note that we cannot be completely taken over by demons as children in Christ, but they can certainly latch on and follow us. Deliverance is needed and sometimes people seek help through others who are VESSELS for direction. It’s power of the Lord coming through his vessels. Sometimes it’s necessary to reach out when those who are weak and do not know how to take authority in Christ. I agree that paying for this help is WRONG and unbiblical. Demons indeed have had intercourse with humans and STILL do. As shown twice in Genesis where it speaks of sons of God (demons who decided to leave the heavenlies to mate with the women). That’s how Nephilem came and also came back after the flood. They are still here. But discernment is needed otherwise yes it’s all just conspiracy! I find the people here have mostly not had spiritual experiences and faced warfare where they have to see things from outside of what they’ve been taught. You have to look beyond the veil because that’s often times where we receive the most revelation. Test the spirit !!! Too many are quick to follow teachings that may not be true and not allow the Lord to individually minister to them via the Holy Spirit. That’s something every follower of Christ should learn, don’t just take everything another member in the body says. That’s not wise, test the spirit!! Hardened hearts can be a reason for this, think of Joseph’s brothers! Conviction is key and if you’ve not been truly humble enough to seek the truth accepting that you could be right or wrong, then you have no place speaking on the matter. Seeking the truth means accepting that what we’re dispositioned to believe may be wrong. Blessings to you Brother, but I pray this will be something you consider more deeply. Rather than judging those whom have seen and believed what is happening in demonic attacks. I believe you have been unintentionally misleading because you’re under the pressure of a ministry where by you want to address all these things, but may not actually have come to full understanding prior to addressing it. People stop thinking that just because a well known pastor tells you something is a certain way, it doesn’t make it so!! Go pray and humbly seek on your knees to know truth. Peace

I have a question then? Why do i keep getting attacked sexually in my from even though i have stayed away from that stuff for over half a year now. Ive been praying meditating on the word and reading my bible and ill be fine for days and all of a sudden ill have series of dreams in one night where have women trying to suduce me even though thats not what i want nor think about.
Try fasting and prayer, 3am if you can. Use discernment. When presented with two extremes the truth usually lands in the middle. In this case its the belief in deliverance ministry vs. non belief in that.
Joseph said "do not interpretations belong to God?" (Genesis Ch 40) and Daniel prayed and was given an interpretation of a dream too (Daniel Ch 2). I suggest you ask God to give you an interpretation of the dream(s) if there is any, and ask Him to remove any future dreams like that. There may be an interpretation that is impossible to know without His revealing it to you. He may show you some unconfessed sin that He wants you to confess to receive freedom, or past trauma you need to forgive, or it could even be something that He will use you to help another person (I just had this happen recently with a person the Lord is using me to minister to). Only when I read Genesis 40 and Daniel 2 did it occur to me to ask God for the interpretation. He has over & over. It is really amazing each time. I've also experienced an ability in a few dreams to recognize the sexual nature and command the person to "leave in the name of Jesus and don't come back!" and the dream immediately ended and never reoccurred. I was definitely dreaming, but somehow had enough awareness to decide to do that in the dream. Also, Psalm 4:8 can be helpful to recite & declare when going to bed, and if woken up. "I will both lie down in peace and sleep; for You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety." Praying for you to sleep in peace, and for God to help you understand and resolve this!
I’d say as Christians we have to have patience. There is consequences to the lives we led before we came to Christ. Due to his grace He delivered us from the main punishment which is death but there are other secondary consequences that can happen as a result. You say you stayed away from that stuff for over a year and half but you probably indulged in for longer than that so it’s likely going to take time. Sanctification is not always an instant thing. Keep praying, staying in the word and doing what it says, fasting and keeping good Christian company. And things will get better
I have done deliverance. It's pretty easy as long as you're sincere. I pray the Holy Spirit guides you through it. Repent, ask for forgiveness to the Lord, rebuke everything, and take your authority in the name of Jesus. "In the name of Jesus, i command you out and do not come back anymore." Some demons try to come back to you will let them know again that they aren't welcome.

I've been seeing a rise in such claims. And not just in "spiritual spouses" but in objects or media. It always comes down to "You can't watch/read/play/etc. or else a spirit will attach itself to you and make you do bad things." The solution is always "Just read the Bible, go to Church, donate to their ministries, and buy their merch or supplemental material." This is near cult like behavior. Replace everything with what they approve, with their beliefs and doctrine, their community, and keep your head down and only focus on all of the above. The biggest problem is that the joy of life and God's purpose for the individual can be subdued by these things. We should avoid being worldly, sure, but scripture doesn't tell us to be closed off in our own community bubbles. You can't reach out to people who may need help when you will only interact with your fellowship. In some cases, this doctrine could push you to leave your fellowship for an "approved" community. Most importantly, these doctrines use fear to control. If everything has a demon, if everything will make God angry, you become fearful and submissive to people. Not the Lord. Your life is forfeit and belongs to a man made doctrine, not to God. Sorry if that was long winded, but this is something that has been bothering me as I have been making my way back to Christ. I avoided these false teachings thanks to what I am certain is discernment from the Holy Spirit, and I have been spared a walk of fear and compliance to man.
Maybe in another video you can bring up Ephesians 6:12 & Mark 9: 20-29 those give us an in-depth indication that spiritual warfare is real… even tho many ministers/congregations take the word outta context… let’s not ignore the true part

Job 4:12-19. A spirit glides by Eliphaz the temanite while he lays in bed in the darkness. This spirit causes him great fear and it speaks to him. All of Eliphaz's arguments in the book of Job stem from this demonic entity giving him knowledge. I personally know people who have had experiences like this before they go on missions trips. Shame on Alan Parr. Read the scriptures. In fact, perhaps you should cast out a demon before you criticize those who do. Is this what Christian ministry has become?. If you are saved and you have the Holy Spirit living in you, you can't be possessed by any demon. You are the Holy Spirit's possession now. He lives in you. Hi Bro Allen, Thank you for the exposition and I concur with the scripture standpoints, as pointed out. However, back home, my pastor, who also doesn’t believe in spiritual (demonic) spouses existence decided to visit a lady who people have been summoning him to come and deliver from such spirits; he said he saw a shocking sight when he finally decide to visit with another pastor. Even though he doesn’t believe in this kind of theory. He said, when they visited the house, she saw the single living lady been covered with (physical) semen and looked like being molested by a somewhat physical presence; well he said he knows many people agree it must be Succubus(male) /Incubus(female) demons, as in the myths. He however, termed it as a strong Spiritual Oppression. He prayed for her , after leading her to Christ and centered the prayer on Spiritual Oppression and breaking away from such spirits before she was actually Delivered. What do you think about this case too?
It was due to a deliverance video that I fully believed how real spiritual warfare is but more importantly God is real, that He is truly The One, the Lord above all things. If the deliverance ministry is making someone more binded and dependent on deliverances then it's probably not it but I do believe that there are anointed ones.

I also just want to add for those who deep down question deliverance all together: If one doesn’t believe that they can cast out a demon, better we just confess that and question why first instead of trying to disprove that it is possible just because that is not your lived experience. There are so many who are walking by faith and are mindful of what they take in yet, they experience such unfortunate dreams. We are all capable of healing and casting out demons through consecration, devotion, and submission to Christ, but it’s also clear that there some that may be further along in their walk (elders in the church & mature believers) who can help with deliverance. We ought not to settle for this reality in The West that deliverances and healings are rare, if possible at all. That should stir us all up to grow in our walk with God

It's so much wrong with these debates, and honestly it disgusts me. I say both are in error. I believe deliverance ministries can overdue it, just do to the arrogance they have after seeing some power with the authority of Christ. I believe people who take Allens view deal with a narrow view of the scriptures to a western culture perspective, with some pride, and fear. Causing them NOT to research what Jewish culture believed about this issue. Most do not know the difference between an Angel and a disembodied spirit (Demon). Spirits have NEVER operated like Angels. Jesus casted many out of ONE man. Ever heard of an Angel entering a Pig? No. Demons need a host. Angels do not. Angels are in the heavens. Demons (Spirits) are on the earth. Matthew 28:18 says Jesus has authority in heaven and on earth. And if we are in Christ that's why we would have authority to cast them out. If you have faith that is. The problem with some Christians is if they do not see the origins of some things in the bible, they claim its false automatically. How about the origins may not be so important to be included in canon scripture, but avoiding the issue is. Would that mean the origins don’t exist in history? Jewish culture understood the difference. Christianity in other countries know the difference. Western culture will say it’s just a shadow or a dream, the same country that many claim God doesn't exist at all. The same nation that's a sin away from God's judgment. If Christians want to have a narrow view, then so be it. A ex witch or warlock who has come to Christ will tell you different and would disagree with a cessationist. They can't ALL be lying. The bible does talk about the spirit of fear, and many choose to ignore and throw it under the rug that they can't sleep at night. Satan wins here every time, because the cessationist and the Deliverance Minister actually need each other. But instead they bash each other and create a divided scenario in the church. A biblically sound man and a man who has faith in the gifts of the spirit together? WOW! If I were the devil, I would divide them also.
Well Allen, you can't knock peoples experience. We live in a spiritual world with unseen forces. These attacks definitely have happened and there is a spiritual explanation for it. The Bible also refers to demons, so I don't think you avoiding the reality is helpful either. There is definitely a place in the faith for protecting oneself against demons and evil influences. There are countless examples of people struggling with this due to giving into temptation or sexual immorality.
For anyone who might find this helpful, I have come to realize that on the rare occasion I have an inappropriate dream, I always wake up with an extremely full bladder. Sometimes my body realizes in my sleep that I need to go and I dream about needing to find a bathroom desperately. Other times my brain confuses that pressure to go with arousal and I end up with that kind of dream. Making sure to not drink much before bed prevents either of those kinds of dreams for me. Sometimes the answer is physical in nature.

I have never heard the deliverance ministers using either of those scriptures to justify or explain spirit spouses. I have never heard them taking the scriptures concerning the vwheat and tares out of context either.
The issue is not that deliverance is not real; the issue is that it is not balanced and people are not being taught how to stay free and crucify the flesh daily. People don't want to do the work on conjugation with Holy Spirit. People were delivered in the Bible AND TOLD to go sin no more. So, there's an element of teaching that's missing.... through knowledge the just will be delivered.
I used to get a demon holding me at night and flying me around the room. Would molest me sometimes and would hold my mouth shut. Until I prayed silently Jesus, then I was able to scream His Name, and the demon would drop me and leave. Until the next night. This stopped when I married and moved out of state. These attacks are real, but I never believed a spiritual spouse. I believed it was oppression, for my mom was released from demons, and the demons remained. I thank the Lord for a good night's sleep that first morning!❤

Brother Allen, thank you for the video and your overall channel content. You have been a blessing to me personally and in ministry. I do want to push back slightly in that I clearly believe that Satan/demons use the guise of “spiritual spouses” to seduce and trick people into oppression and possession. This is not a new “doctrine.” Incubus and succubus spirits have been a topic of discussion for thousands of years inside and outside the church. Other than the “Lilith” reference there is no internal Biblical support for the doctrine… but there again, other than a few references to ghosts/inhabiting spirits and necromancy the Bible does not explicitly validate those things either. However, they are clearly methods used by demons to influence people and cause fear. I am familiar with this topic because I have had seasons in my life where dreams were being used to oppress me and cause me to feel fearful and defeated. And it was through reading and studying about these topics in conjunction with Scripture that these things are smokescreens used by demons to attack and demoralize. It also opened my eyes to the root sins in my life that I had been excusing and that were the footholds that these attacks were using to be so effective. Demons are the flies around the garbage heap of sin. If you have flies it’s because something stinks and needs to be dealt with and repented of. For some people, the swarm of flies is so great that they cannot see the garbage and Biblically faithful deliverance ministry may be needed. I share this out of concern that some of your audience may feel discredited and discouraged if they are having “spiritual spouse” dreams like I have had. They are not crazy… that is a deceptive tactic of Satan. Sin needs to be repented of and the Blood of Christ pleaded for forgiveness and for freedom. I have yet to find a deliverance minister that I felt was strictly Biblical and did not have to reference things outside of canonical scripture to build a loose picture of the spiritual warfare. But I have also found those teachers and preachers that were so narrowly focused on the Bible they failed to actually hear people and minister to them. Mark 9 is one clear Biblical example of a spiritual warfare situation that did not fit the disciple’s parameters and only Jesus could deal with it in that moment. During and after he points out that unbelief was a stumbling block. People dealing with any kind of spiritual attacks must believe that the attack is real and that Jesus has the power to save them before they can actually be saved. He also identifies “this kind” implying a category of demonic entity, struggle, and therefore remedy: prayer and fasting. If a listener is being attacked by the “kind” of demon that is using a “spiritual spouse” as a guise, they need to treat that legitimately as an attacking connected to sexual and emotional sins and that needs to be sought through repentant prayer, maybe even fasting, and calling on the Name of Jesus for deliverance. Yes there are shallow charlatans making this worse but that doesn’t negate the tactics of the enemy or the way in which it should be rightly dealt with. Love you brother.

So many of these ministries. It seems as if there is an evil spirit for everything. A spirit of lust. A spirit of overeating. A spirit of smoking. And so on!
I went through this in my last church. Wanted me to answer this questioner on my life ( too personal) and go through this hours long process. They were doing the his with just about every one. I accepted Christ and had the Holy Spirit and told them two masters cannot be in the same house. My house has Holy Spirit. I left that church and still they are doing it. I just pray they do not harm or injure anyone else with self doubt in their faith. ( Tip of the iceberg)

I don't understand how pastors (or whoever) can just blatantly say that something is false when there are countless testimonies about these spirit spouses. Are all the ppl who have experianced these dreams lying? I don't think so.
I don’t really know if this is right or wrong . But one thing I do know is that my wife has had terrible nightmares when pregnant and have lost three in a row. So for me she tells me she sees things that are very demonic . We just wanna have children someday and she is scared to sleep even when she was pregnant 🤰 worrying that she would lose another . Now things have taken a toll on her especially and it breaks my heart . Lord people that don’t deserve children are having them we know we are flawed like everyone else but we cannot be that bad for a blessing of a child 😢.

Joseph said "Do not interpretations belong to the LORD?" and Daniel prayed and asked God for dream interpretation and God gave it to him. The idea to ask God for the interpretation of a dream never occurred to me until then. Since then I've started doing that whenever I have a dream (and can remember to ask). He has given me amazing insights that have led to receiving understanding in several areas, sometimes healing, and helping several others either through my dreams or theirs. It is wild and glorifies God's sovereignty each time. One literally showed me a vision of evil it turns out someone else had done that very day that I would have 0% possibility of ever knowing.

I simply gave Scripturee, asking these "believers" to simply have wisdom, and look to proper Scripture interpretation. I was attacked, insulted and derided. Scripture went beyond being taken out of context. It was ignored. I asked for Scriptural proof. None was given. Human rhetoric was given to support the hypothesis. I as well began to raise my voice, and plead to simply search the Scriptures, and study sound doctrine. That being said, sir, i love your work. Finally a pastor who exposes the false doctrines of the "deliverance" ministries. The fruits of such false teachings has lead many astray and caused many to strumble and pierced through with many sorrows. Very few has spoken about this and uncovered the roots of this false teachings. It is darkness focused and not Word focused.

I get the impression sometimes that because you haven’t experienced something yourself and you can’t find it in the Bible, then you dismiss it and call it false. It’s a shame because you don’t realize the harm you’re doing to others by being narrow minded. It’s a low key form of gaslighting people who do experience things you haven’t. Demons can attack people day or night. They don’t sleep and we are most vulnerable when we’re sleeping. I’ve had both demons and angels come into my room at night. The Lord has made me highly intuitive to the spiritual realm and spiritual presences. Perhaps the Lord will give you an undeniable supernatural encounter someday like He did me that makes those scales fall off your eyes and you will understand the spiritual realm much more clearly and then recognize what a great service the (true) deliverance community does for the Body of Christ setting the captives free and teaching others about spiritual warfare and how the enemy operates.

The need for deliverance is very real. What a lot of people don't realize is that you have to truly change the way you live to get relief from the garden variety annoyances. The bible says resist the devil and he will flee from thee. It is very true. If you pursue a life of holiness and go to the secret place, these instances of spiritual attack (which are very real btw) will become few and far between if they don't disappear altogether. To purport that it is not real is not helpful. We serve a God that is spirit and yet some people want to believe thst the world we live in does not have incursions of the spiritual kind. What Allan talks about here used to be known as an incubus and\or succubus. The actions of it are the same however and people may need help or at least advice on how to get rid of these things. Allan is basically saying that a whole lot of people are mentally ill. Just because you have never experienced something yourself does not mean it doesn't exist.
Needing deliverance means that you are possessed or controlled by demons. That can't happen to a believer. Spiritual attacks yes but one can't be "delivered" from that. Deliverance ministries are phony.

Someone cannot deliver themselves if they are in sin. It would be like expecting someone with a broken leg to just walk without support. Deliverance was always meant for the Body Of Christ. To get delivered from evil and not being a believer with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit is like washing a white shirt and sending the wearer to play football on a wet and muddy day without repercussions. It's very comforting to think you won't need deliverance as a believer but every action has consequences and not all believers have that squeaky clean, brand new person change that somevhave professed to experience when accepting Christ for the first time. I agree that Christians should not feel dependent on deliverance ministers to help them get free from demonic activity. God has given us His word and the Holy Spirit so we should never feel like we can't get free unless certain people pray for or lay hands on us. What you're talking about is that certain people have been called for a specific ministry to have a certain focus in their work. However, it's the focus of their ministry, not of the gospel, so it should not be the focus of their message and it can never be the totality of their message. If someone's ministry is healing, they can't come and make you believe God heals everybody just because they get to heal everybody they touch. The Bible describes times when Jesus didn't heal everybody around him. Problem is, most people are not gonna go follow the person's ministry in person to know if they preach the entire gospel. The only access they have to the person is online for the vast majority of people so if you make your message unilateral online, you're promoting a half message to most which will lead many to error. I don't know about this whole spiritual spouse or how deliverance ministries are using these terms but I will share that demonic attacks are real as I experienced that at a time in my life where I was in the world and the demonic attacks were perverted and it occured with sleep paralysis. I also personally knew a guy when I was in the military that would go back to his barracks and lay there because a demon would come and give him pleasure. He did this until he realized his son was experiencing the same thing. So with that said, I feel where you are coming from with this video but to completely disregard those spiritual attacks is foolishness. The quote " Don't throw the baby out with the bath water" applies here.

Not so sure on this one. Are you saying spiritual oppression during sleep doesn't happen and cannot happen? Some biblical references to support the idea may be wrong/misplaced but that cannot mean that it doesn't exist. Just the other day in my sleep I felt an evil force entering my bedroom and I literally couldn't move even when I wanted to, and I shouted the name of Jesus for the evil force to leave. It eventually did. What then can stop such an evil force to force itself unto us sexually or otherwise.
There are people who have experienced or encounter unknown men as (you said mostly women)who visit them at night and molest them, they find themselves helpless in these situation. They are people with neither lustful thoughts nor exposed themselves to such. The fact that we cannot find biblical references to relate cannot render real experiences non-existent Cal it it Spiritual Spouse or whatever, these evil things are experienced by real people out there. We are all in a journey of learning and don't know it all.

I used to have such dreams where I would feel someone is in the room or the other room coming to attack me and I would scream (without being heard)in Jesus's name then woke up and nothing was there. I talked to fellow Christians and other non believers and some told me they had experienced the same exact thing that I faced though the non believers would just struggle to wake up without saying in Jesus's name.
After sometime of research I came to realize that I was experiencing what's called sleep paralysis where your subconscious mind wakes up before your body unlocks you can Google it. I'm not dissimising your point, but what I'm saying is that, not everything that happens to us is demonic related.

To help answer your question: the context of Ephesians 6 is guarding ourselves against "the schemes of the devil" v.11. The schemes are many, it is not explicitly talking about possession or even demonic oppression. Believers of the risen Jesus Christ with the seal, the proof, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit do not need to fear possession. How can a demon and the Spirit of God indwell the same body? I assume you're referring to Mark 1? If so, there is nothing to indicate that the man with the unclean spirit had prior interaction or belief in Jesus. I also know of none who were healed/restored having a repossession or another possession. If you encounter any force of darkness, the wise thing to do is pray to the Almighty Sovereign God. He is always with you and He will help you. James 4:7 says, " Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." If the devil will flee, will not all his underlings? The context here that the audience was NOT resisting the devil.
Ephesians 6 is a charge very much in line with the message of this video, very much in line with putting to death the sin nature, putting off the old, putting on the new--which includes that full armor of God.

The man was not saved until Jesus cast the demon out of him. Remember, salvation did not come by Grace until after Jesus’ death and resurrection. The ‘few that found salvation’ before Grace were under the Law. Only few understood, like Abraham and David that salvation only came by believing God for His righteousness to save them. It was their belief in His faithfulness-not in their selves to save them. All the Jews were under the Law like the demon possessed man. Salvation came to Him in the Person of Christ.

12:06 - there was no "developed doctrine" about fallen angels taking human women for wives and having children with them. The Bible says it actually happened, so this wasn't some contrived interpretation of what the scriptures say. The Bible is actually quite clear about what happened.
Also, these fallen angels who took the form of human men in order to have relations with women weren't demon possessed. That isn't scriptural. Nowhere in the text does it says, "and demons inhabited these fallen angels in men's bodies...". No. They were sinful angels. In much the same way that all humans are born with a sinful nature. We aren't possessed by demons if we sin, and the fallen angels weren't either.
The Bible also does not say that God has bound every single demon, and that they no longer walk this Earth. Ephesians 6:12 says, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."
Jude 6 isn't referring to demons. It is clearly referring to the very specific group of ANGELS who fell with Satan and mated with human women. How do we know? Because the word used is angels, not demons or demon possessed angels in men's bodies. No, it says angels. Do not add to the Bible things that are not there.
2 Peter 2:4 isn't referring to demons, or demonic spirits. It is literally referring to fallen angels. It says so. It uses those exact words.
Your teaching is not based in scripture, nor do you have an understanding of how demons operate. I didn’t have a deliverance team cast out night demons, but I did have some ppl at church pray over me. I didn’t have lust issues and am in a happy marriage. But one month last year I had too many sexual attack dreams that it had to be from the devil. No more attack dreams since then. Now I just have dreams where I cast out evil spirits and struggle to say “Jesus” in the dream…

There are different types of lust, lust of the flesh is the first sometimes the only type of lust we think of. There is lust for attention, approval, money,monet, and more.

Jesus said out of the heart comes adultery, lust, fornications and the like-Matthew 15:19-not a demon. I’m sure you convinced yourself you had a demon and convinced yourself it would not be gone until someone prayed over you. When our minds are not renewed by the Word of God, we can fall into deception.
That frozen feeling and being unable to speak is a physiological phenomenon called ‘sleep paralysis.’ Everyone becomes paralyzed at some point during sleep. What happens when we sense we cannot move is that our brains have awakened before our bodies are awakened. Check out David Diga Hernandez’s in depth teachings of spiritual warfare. A lot of what we experience is not from the enemy. But, the enemy takes advantage of those times in our sleep to plant lies in our minds-laughing at our ignorance and causing confusion.
Im so glad to find this video as I was getting deeper into wanting to do deliverance ministries bc of a popular "UA-cam podcaster" whose name I want to say so badly, but won't. I would watch his videos intently. Then, one day, I felt wrong watching them, like he wasn't really working for God and Jesus but instead put more focus on the enemy.

When someone is constantly referring to churches that approach the Bible in a relationship way as gummy bear teachings and weak, it's time to take a step back.
When someone is calling out people in his own chat as heretics and demon possessed because they don't agree with his teachings, it's time to question their own validity.

I had a lot of demonic oppression before I became a Christian and still did for a short while after I came to Christ- I soon realised that I had to call on Jesus to help me and threw myself into the scriptures every day- after this everything stopped. If I sense anything around me I rebuke them in Jesus’ name and they flee. It has basically stopped because they realise I belong to Jesus and they will never be able to take me away from him. All it takes is our commitment to the Lord, not a deliverance ministry.
Spirit husband/wives are REAL. How would you explain someone having sexual dreams with some random man/woman every night ?? Then you wake up felling violated! Defiled! I personally experienced this. And I knew it wasn’t right. I wasn’t living in sin, no masturbation, no porn but I knew I needed deliverance! It’s not because you don’t experience something that it’s wrong or not happening to some people.

They are real. In some families, they will marry you to à spiritual deity like mamy water. Once my friend told me, her family married her to à deity, so that in réal life she won't get marry to any man. As a woman without a husband and barten, she can better take care of her parents' family. She married in real life 2 times, and al ended in divorce. She's over 60 without a child. There are also where wicked people will put one on your way. Some have had experience with their spiritual spouses in dreams and many other examples. This guy shouldn't say they sont exist.

I am disappointed with how divisive this video is. I agree with most of your points about spiritual spouses and the poor interpretations of these verses. However, not all preachers in deliverance ministry are using fear tactics and trying to manipulate people. There are genuine believers who love Jesus and also teach deliverance. The tactics talked about here do happen, but it's not everyone. This is too great of a generalization.
As a woman who has been anointed by the Lord and has burning passion for deliverance the only thing that is wrong is people in the body of Christ not knowing the enemy we face.
If you start looking at the testimonies of ex-warlocks who were high ranking in the occult, satanism, and witchcraft you all begin to think way differently if you understood how organized the kingdom of darkness really is.
The greatest trick that Satan ever made the world believe is that he doesn’t exist and the enemy you’re facing doesn’t have power.
When in reality he just doesn’t have power or authority over Jesus Christ (since he is defeated) and Christ will DEFEAT HIM AGAIN.
However if you think the for we face is “weak” you have missed it.
Deliverance is required and the things that many people face is under the influence of something spiritual not physical.

I'm a minister that operates in deliverance. I love Allen Par and a lot of his teachings but this is one that he is not correct on! It's a lot of generalities and inaccuracies in this teaching. This is what happens when someone tries to teach on something from the outside in with no experience.

I was in this deliverance movement simply because I grew up in a background that embraced it. I thank God that He by providence opened my eyes to a biblical understanding of interpreting His Word.
During the first five days of 2024, I was so tormented by the enemy because of the sins that I had done last year. I literally had chestaches because of too much emotional pain. But on the 6th day of January, the Lord delivered me from those demons that attacked me - demons of self hate, lust, condemnation. Jesus healed me from my brokenness. And He also told me to surrender my will into His will and to forgive.

That sounds like repentance, if Jesus delivered you from that attack and then told you to repent. It would seem like many of us, when we live in sin, those actions invite the enemy to attack. Allen Parr isn’t saying demonic attacks don’t occur. What he is saying is to be wary of these so-called deliverance ministries taking the Bible out of context, and creating doctrines that aren’t founded in anything that the Bible actually talks about.

I am in a deliverance ministry. I have personally seen, multiple people set free from...example: Anger, generational curses from Free Masonry, Occult. And many other things. So if you don't believe in deliverance, are you endorsing Free Masonry? Melissa Dougherty is a blessing because when I first got saved from the New Age I stumbled across alot of deliverence teachers and fell for their doctrine for a time. Melissa thankfully popped up too in my youtube algorithm and I was able to think more objectively and critically leading me to cross reference deliverance teachings to the bible... and realizing a lot of these deliverence ministers were twisting scripture and taking things out of context. Deliverence teachers seem to think a lot more subjectively and base their doctrine on experience rather than the bible.

I think denomination aside look for a church with sound/correct doctrine. The only one who can save you is Jesus, but a good Christian community is a nice thing to have in life. I go to a Baptist church. I took my time finding a church where I felt safe at and I could cross reference sermons to the bible to make sure everything being preached was correct. Don't give up and pray for God to guide you to your church family! 🙏🏻

HOWEVER… it appears as though you’re speaking on a topic you’ve not actually had a first hand experience with. You know… actual spiritual manifestations and warfare that doesn’t solely come from our own selves??
Would you call me a liar or deceived if I told I was watching back a livestream of a pastor street preaching, whom was casting demons out of me and I saw actual physical manifestations as they came out? Yeah I would call myself crazy before I experienced it for myself. I had such a geneuine peace after that, like a streamline to the Lord with no distractions. The Holy Spirit was just free to flow.
It’s important to note that we cannot be completely taken over by demons as children in Christ, but they can certainly latch on and follow us. Deliverance is needed and sometimes people seek help through others who are VESSELS for direction. It’s power of the Lord coming through his vessels. Sometimes it’s necessary to reach out when those who are weak and do not know how to take authority in Christ. I agree that paying for this help is WRONG and unbiblical.
Demons indeed have had intercourse with humans and STILL do. As shown twice in Genesis where it speaks of sons of God (demons who decided to leave the heavenlies to mate with the women). That’s how Nephilem came and also came back after the flood. They are still here. But discernment is needed otherwise yes it’s all just conspiracy!
I find the people here have mostly not had spiritual experiences and faced warfare where they have to see things from outside of what they’ve been taught. You have to look beyond the veil because that’s often times where we receive the most revelation. Test the spirit !!!
Too many are quick to follow teachings that may not be true and not allow the Lord to individually minister to them via the Holy Spirit. That’s something every follower of Christ should learn, don’t just take everything another member in the body says. That’s not wise, test the spirit!! Hardened hearts can be a reason for this, think of Joseph’s brothers!
Conviction is key and if you’ve not been truly humble enough to seek the truth accepting that you could be right or wrong, then you have no place speaking on the matter. Seeking the truth means accepting that what we’re dispositioned to believe may be wrong.
Blessings to you Brother, but I pray this will be something you consider more deeply. Rather than judging those whom have seen and believed what is happening in demonic attacks. I believe you have been unintentionally misleading because you’re under the pressure of a ministry where by you want to address all these things, but may not actually have come to full understanding prior to addressing it.
People stop thinking that just because a well known pastor tells you something is a certain way, it doesn’t make it so!! Go pray and humbly seek on your knees to know truth.

I have a question then? Why do i keep getting attacked sexually in my from even though i have stayed away from that stuff for over half a year now. Ive been praying meditating on the word and reading my bible and ill be fine for days and all of a sudden ill have series of dreams in one night where have women trying to suduce me even though thats not what i want nor think about.
Try fasting and prayer, 3am if you can. Use discernment. When presented with two extremes the truth usually lands in the middle. In this case its the belief in deliverance ministry vs. non belief in that.
Joseph said "do not interpretations belong to God?" (Genesis Ch 40) and Daniel prayed and was given an interpretation of a dream too (Daniel Ch 2). I suggest you ask God to give you an interpretation of the dream(s) if there is any, and ask Him to remove any future dreams like that.
There may be an interpretation that is impossible to know without His revealing it to you. He may show you some unconfessed sin that He wants you to confess to receive freedom, or past trauma you need to forgive, or it could even be something that He will use you to help another person (I just had this happen recently with a person the Lord is using me to minister to). Only when I read Genesis 40 and Daniel 2 did it occur to me to ask God for the interpretation. He has over & over. It is really amazing each time.
I've also experienced an ability in a few dreams to recognize the sexual nature and command the person to "leave in the name of Jesus and don't come back!" and the dream immediately ended and never reoccurred. I was definitely dreaming, but somehow had enough awareness to decide to do that in the dream.
Also, Psalm 4:8 can be helpful to recite & declare when going to bed, and if woken up. "I will both lie down in peace and sleep; for You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety."
Praying for you to sleep in peace, and for God to help you understand and resolve this!
I’d say as Christians we have to have patience. There is consequences to the lives we led before we came to Christ. Due to his grace He delivered us from the main punishment which is death but there are other secondary consequences that can happen as a result. You say you stayed away from that stuff for over a year and half but you probably indulged in for longer than that so it’s likely going to take time. Sanctification is not always an instant thing. Keep praying, staying in the word and doing what it says, fasting and keeping good Christian company. And things will get better
I have done deliverance. It's pretty easy as long as you're sincere. I pray the Holy Spirit guides you through it. Repent, ask for forgiveness to the Lord, rebuke everything, and take your authority in the name of Jesus. "In the name of Jesus, i command you out and do not come back anymore." Some demons try to come back to you will let them know again that they aren't welcome.

I've been seeing a rise in such claims. And not just in "spiritual spouses" but in objects or media. It always comes down to "You can't watch/read/play/etc. or else a spirit will attach itself to you and make you do bad things."
The solution is always "Just read the Bible, go to Church, donate to their ministries, and buy their merch or supplemental material."
This is near cult like behavior. Replace everything with what they approve, with their beliefs and doctrine, their community, and keep your head down and only focus on all of the above.
The biggest problem is that the joy of life and God's purpose for the individual can be subdued by these things. We should avoid being worldly, sure, but scripture doesn't tell us to be closed off in our own community bubbles. You can't reach out to people who may need help when you will only interact with your fellowship. In some cases, this doctrine could push you to leave your fellowship for an "approved" community.
Most importantly, these doctrines use fear to control. If everything has a demon, if everything will make God angry, you become fearful and submissive to people. Not the Lord. Your life is forfeit and belongs to a man made doctrine, not to God.
Sorry if that was long winded, but this is something that has been bothering me as I have been making my way back to Christ. I avoided these false teachings thanks to what I am certain is discernment from the Holy Spirit, and I have been spared a walk of fear and compliance to man.
Churches who do these cult tactics should be more talked about by fellow Christians so the new ones can watch out.
Maybe in another video you can bring up Ephesians 6:12 & Mark 9: 20-29 those give us an in-depth indication that spiritual warfare is real… even tho many ministers/congregations take the word outta context… let’s not ignore the true part
Amazing video! Thank you for always speaking biblical truth. I have been deep dive researching into deliverance and charismatic ministries and I have decided to unfollow all of these false prophets. The Bible says many will be led astray by wolves in sheep’s clothing so we need to be biblically coherent now more than ever. The internet makes it way too easy for these false doctrines to be spread.

Job 4:12-19. A spirit glides by Eliphaz the temanite while he lays in bed in the darkness. This spirit causes him great fear and it speaks to him. All of Eliphaz's arguments in the book of Job stem from this demonic entity giving him knowledge. I personally know people who have had experiences like this before they go on missions trips.

If you are saved and you have the Holy Spirit living in you, you can't be possessed by any demon. You are the Holy Spirit's possession now. He lives in you. Thank you for the exposition and I concur with the scripture standpoints, as pointed out.
However, back home, my pastor, who also doesn’t believe in spiritual (demonic) spouses existence decided to visit a lady who people have been summoning him to come and deliver from such spirits; he said he saw a shocking sight when he finally decide to visit with another pastor. Even though he doesn’t believe in this kind of theory.
He said, when they visited the house, she saw the single living lady been covered with (physical) semen and looked like being molested by a somewhat physical presence; well he said he knows many people agree it must be Succubus(male) /Incubus(female) demons, as in the myths. He however, termed it as a strong Spiritual Oppression.
He prayed for her , after leading her to Christ and centered the prayer on Spiritual Oppression and breaking away from such spirits before she was actually Delivered.

It was due to a deliverance video that I fully believed how real spiritual warfare is but more importantly God is real, that He is truly The One, the Lord above all things. If the deliverance ministry is making someone more binded and dependent on deliverances then it's probably not it but I do believe that there are anointed ones.

I can say for sure - Pastor Mike Signorelli, Isaiah Saldivar, Alexander Pagani, Jenny Weaver, all push the denial of the flesh as a prerequisite to deliverance if you actually watch their content and not cherry pick. Demons do exist , l could say deliverance and repentance are some what synonyms and this differs from exorcism which might be the initial step for others on that journey. I also just want to add for those who deep down question deliverance all together: If one doesn’t believe that they can cast out a demon, better we just confess that and question why first instead of trying to disprove that it is possible just because that is not your lived experience. There are so many who are walking by faith and are mindful of what they take in yet, they experience such unfortunate dreams. We are all capable of healing and casting out demons through consecration, devotion, and submission to Christ, but it’s also clear that there some that may be further along in their walk (elders in the church & mature believers) who can help with deliverance. We ought not to settle for this reality in The West that deliverances and healings are rare, if possible at all. That should stir us all up to grow in our walk with God

I think Brother Allen tends to debunk what he has not experienced or maybe what he has not humbly asked God to gift him with i.e speaking in tongues and deliverance. It takes humility.

It's so much wrong with these debates, and honestly it disgusts me. I say both are in error. I believe deliverance ministries can overdue it, just do to the arrogance they have after seeing some power with the authority of Christ. I believe people who take Allens view deal with a narrow view of the scriptures to a western culture perspective, with some pride, and fear. Causing them NOT to research what Jewish culture believed about this issue. Most do not know the difference between an Angel and a disembodied spirit (Demon). Spirits have NEVER operated like Angels. Jesus casted many out of ONE man. Ever heard of an Angel entering a Pig? No. Demons need a host. Angels do not. Angels are in the heavens. Demons (Spirits) are on the earth. Matthew 28:18 says Jesus has authority in heaven and on earth. And if we are in Christ that's why we would have authority to cast them out. If you have faith that is. The problem with some Christians is if they do not see the origins of some things in the bible, they claim its false automatically. How about the origins may not be so important to be included in canon scripture, but avoiding the issue is. Would that mean the origins don’t exist in history? Jewish culture understood the difference. Christianity in other countries know the difference. Western culture will say it’s just a shadow or a dream, the same country that many claim God doesn't exist at all. The same nation that's a sin away from God's judgment. If Christians want to have a narrow view, then so be it. A ex witch or warlock who has come to Christ will tell you different and would disagree with a cessationist. They can't ALL be lying. The bible does talk about the spirit of fear, and many choose to ignore and throw it under the rug that they can't sleep at night. Satan wins here every time, because the cessationist and the Deliverance Minister actually need each other. But instead they bash each other and create a divided scenario in the church. A biblically sound man and a man who has faith in the gifts of the spirit together? WOW! If I were the devil, I would divide them also.
Well Allen, you can't knock peoples experience. We live in a spiritual world with unseen forces. These attacks definitely have happened and there is a spiritual explanation for it. The Bible also refers to demons, so I don't think you avoiding the reality is helpful either. There is definitely a place in the faith for protecting oneself against demons and evil influences. There are countless examples of people struggling with this due to giving into temptation or sexual immorality.
For anyone who might find this helpful, I have come to realize that on the rare occasion I have an inappropriate dream, I always wake up with an extremely full bladder. Sometimes my body realizes in my sleep that I need to go and I dream about needing to find a bathroom desperately. Other times my brain confuses that pressure to go with arousal and I end up with that kind of dream. Making sure to not drink much before bed prevents either of those kinds of dreams for me. Sometimes the answer is physical in nature.

I have never heard the deliverance ministers using either of those scriptures to justify or explain spirit spouses. I have never heard them taking the scriptures concerning the vwheat and tares out of context either.

The issue is not that deliverance is not real; the issue is that it is not balanced and people are not being taught how to stay free and crucify the flesh daily. People don't want to do the work on conjugation with Holy Spirit. People were delivered in the Bible AND TOLD to go sin no more. So, there's an element of teaching that's missing.... through knowledge the just will be delivered.
That and that people put their trust, faith and sight on a human instead of JESUS.
I used to get a demon holding me at night and flying me around the room. Would molest me sometimes and would hold my mouth shut. Until I prayed silently Jesus, then I was able to scream His Name, and the demon would drop me and leave. Until the next night. This stopped when I married and moved out of state. These attacks are real, but I never believed a spiritual spouse. I believed it was oppression, for my mom was released from demons, and the demons remained. I thank the Lord for a good night's sleep that first morning!❤

Just had an experience with this type . Such hateful teachings. The man has the audacity to laugh at people who are lost. Wouldn't answer any of my questions, tried to rebuke me. I don't know where he got his info, but the "god" he serves isn't the one, true God.

I do want to push back slightly in that I clearly believe that Satan/demons use the guise of “spiritual spouses” to seduce and trick people into oppression and possession. This is not a new “doctrine.” Incubus and succubus spirits have been a topic of discussion for thousands of years inside and outside the church. Other than the “Lilith” reference there is no internal Biblical support for the doctrine… but there again, other than a few references to ghosts/inhabiting spirits and necromancy the Bible does not explicitly validate those things either. However, they are clearly methods used by demons to influence people and cause fear. I am familiar with this topic because I have had seasons in my life where dreams were being used to oppress me and cause me to feel fearful and defeated. And it was through reading and studying about these topics in conjunction with Scripture that these things are smokescreens used by demons to attack and demoralize. It also opened my eyes to the root sins in my life that I had been excusing and that were the footholds that these attacks were using to be so effective. Demons are the flies around the garbage heap of sin. If you have flies it’s because something stinks and needs to be dealt with and repented of. For some people, the swarm of flies is so great that they cannot see the garbage and Biblically faithful deliverance ministry may be needed.
I share this out of concern that some of your audience may feel discredited and discouraged if they are having “spiritual spouse” dreams like I have had. They are not crazy… that is a deceptive tactic of Satan. Sin needs to be repented of and the Blood of Christ pleaded for forgiveness and for freedom.
I have yet to find a deliverance minister that I felt was strictly Biblical and did not have to reference things outside of canonical scripture to build a loose picture of the spiritual warfare. But I have also found those teachers and preachers that were so narrowly focused on the Bible they failed to actually hear people and minister to them. Mark 9 is one clear Biblical example of a spiritual warfare situation that did not fit the disciple’s parameters and only Jesus could deal with it in that moment. During and after he points out that unbelief was a stumbling block. People dealing with any kind of spiritual attacks must believe that the attack is real and that Jesus has the power to save them before they can actually be saved. He also identifies “this kind” implying a category of demonic entity, struggle, and therefore remedy: prayer and fasting. If a listener is being attacked by the “kind” of demon that is using a “spiritual spouse” as a guise, they need to treat that legitimately as an attacking connected to sexual and emotional sins and that needs to be sought through repentant prayer, maybe even fasting, and calling on the Name of Jesus for deliverance.
Yes there are shallow charlatans making this worse but that doesn’t negate the tactics of the enemy or the way in which it should be rightly dealt with.

So many of these ministries. It seems as if there is an evil spirit for everything. A spirit of lust. A spirit of overeating. A spirit of smoking. And so on!
I went through this in my last church. Wanted me to answer this questioner on my life ( too personal) and go through this hours long process. They were doing the his with just about every one. I accepted Christ and had the Holy Spirit and told them two masters cannot be in the same house. My house has Holy Spirit. I left that church and still they are doing it. I just pray they do not harm or injure anyone else with self doubt in their faith. ( Tip of the iceberg)

I needed to hear this. The amount of judgement and persecution I receive from someone who believes this is very emotionally taxing. I know to come to directly Christ instead and his teachings only and not fall for these twisted doctrines. These people can come across VERY arrogant and harsh when you don’t agree..holier than thou attitude.

I have seen people even had friends who woke up knowing that a demon had sex with them, some of them even woke up with their underwear off or missing…. I am from an area where these things happen and know these kind exists. I don’t really know if this is right or wrong . But one thing I do know is that my wife has had terrible nightmares when pregnant and have lost three in a row. So for me she tells me she sees things that are very demonic . We just wanna have children someday and she is scared to sleep even when she was pregnant 🤰 worrying that she would lose another . Now things have taken a toll on her especially and it breaks my heart . Lord people that don’t deserve children are having them we know we are flawed like everyone else but we cannot be that bad for a blessing of a child 😢.
Fast and pray regularly. Have her play Psalms while she sleeps every night.

@@meximike1989And if the dreams are still happening, I've found that in my dream I can somehow have the presence of mind to command the people/things to "leave in the name of Jesus and don't come back!" and the dreams ended and never reoccurred.
Psalm 4:8 is a great one to pray/declare before sleep and if woken up.

One more thing I've learned/applied is from Genesis 40 and Daniel 2. Joseph said "Do not interpretations belong to the LORD?" and Daniel prayed and asked God for dream interpretation and God gave it to him. The idea to ask God for the interpretation of a dream never occurred to me until then. Since then I've started doing that whenever I have a dream (and can remember to ask). He has given me amazing insights that have led to receiving understanding in several areas, sometimes healing, and helping several others either through my dreams or theirs. It is wild and glorifies God's sovereignty each time. One literally showed me a vision of evil it turns out someone else had done that very day that I would have 0% possibility of ever knowing.
Thank you so much, Allen. My brother is currently dealing with this topic in his sunday school class. I, myself was recently, ignorantly in an online discussion group of this sort. I simply gave Scripturee, asking these "believers" to simply have wisdom, and look to proper Scripture interpretation. I was attacked, insulted and derided. Scripture went beyond being taken out of context. It was ignored. I asked for Scriptural proof. None was given. Human rhetoric was given to support the hypothesis. I as well began to raise my voice, and plead to simply search the Scriptures, and study sound doctrine. That being said, sir, i love your work. May it continue to grow, and strengthen those who wish for the riches of the Word of God.
Finally a pastor who exposes the false doctrines of the "deliverance" ministries. The fruits of such false teachings has lead many astray and caused many to strumble and pierced through with many sorrows. Very few has spoken about this and uncovered the roots of this false teachings. It is darkness focused and not Word focused.

Church is a body of believers, so we don't expect demons possessed Christians in the church! That's my point...
Demons are out there, that's why as Christians we commanded to go preach the gospel into the world to save people! Once they are saved they can join a church to grow spiritually by learning sound doctrines.
These deliverance ministries, they don't even share the gospel with people, they just cast demons and people go back and live the same life they lived before deliverance because they not taught anything about the holy word!
Some are of different faith like Muslims or Buddha, but because they need deliverance they come to church, after that session of deliverance, they go back to their original religions, that's not a true deliverance! There is only one way for salvation...through Jesus Christ!

I have been following you for years but i have to disagree with you on this one. I am a firm believer in the bible but not everything is written there. Sometimes God would allow some people to go deep into the occult and then save and deliver them to comeback and testify about what happens in the spirit realm like John Ramirez. Africans know how to fight in spiritual warfare because they know the ways of the enemy. Spiritual spouse is like a generational strong man that says no man/woman in this family will ever get married. You have to fast and pray and bind up this demon in the name of Jesus or else nobody gets a breakthrough. This is my personal testimony.

Yes! I was a child and was very attacked by sexual dreams even thought i didn't know anything about sex or been exposed to it! I also lived having nightmares since almost my who life to the point I was always waking up running out of my room or scream

I get the impression sometimes that because you haven’t experienced something yourself and you can’t find it in the Bible, then you dismiss it and call it false. It’s a shame because you don’t realize the harm you’re doing to others by being narrow minded. It’s a low key form of gaslighting people who do experience things you haven’t. Demons can attack people day or night. They don’t sleep and we are most vulnerable when we’re sleeping. I’ve had both demons and angels come into my room at night. The Lord has made me highly intuitive to the spiritual realm and spiritual presences.
Perhaps the Lord will give you an undeniable supernatural encounter someday like He did me that makes those scales fall off your eyes and you will understand the spiritual realm much more clearly and then recognize what a great service the (true) deliverance community does for the Body of Christ setting the captives free and teaching others about spiritual warfare and how the enemy operates.

The bible speaks in metaphor hes taking it literal the owl can represent a monitoring spirit why does he have a problem with deliverance at all whether someone lays hands or we go straight to god in prayer ourself either way works.
The need for deliverance is very real. What a lot of people don't realize is that you have to truly change the way you live to get relief from the garden variety annoyances. The bible says resist the devil and he will flee from thee. It is very true. If you pursue a life of holiness and go to the secret place, these instances of spiritual attack (which are very real btw) will become few and far between if they don't disappear altogether.
To purport that it is not real is not helpful.
We serve a God that is spirit and yet some people want to believe thst the world we live in does not have incursions of the spiritual kind.

Needing deliverance means that you are possessed or controlled by demons. That can't happen to a believer. Spiritual attacks yes but one can't be "delivered" from that. Deliverance ministries are phony.
You don't need deliverance if you're a true born again believer.
@dre4ever39 you absolutely can deliver yourself by changing your life and closing access by being holy. You, however, gave a contradictory statement. Someone cannot deliver themselves if they are in sin. It would be like expecting someone with a broken leg to just walk without support. Deliverance was always meant for the Body Of Christ. To get delivered from evil and not being a believer with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit is like washing a white shirt and sending the wearer to play football on a wet and muddy day without repercussions. The bible says the spirit will return to its home (which is us btw). We have to change. Deliverance is not for the unbeliever.
It's very comforting to think you won't need deliverance as a believer but every action has consequences and not all believers have that squeaky clean, brand new person change that somevhave professed to experience when accepting Christ for the first time. Some sins are quite agregious. I would venture to believe that many of the people on this channel would not even believe that it is even possible. Just know that just because you have not had a supernatural experience that it doesn't happen. We serve a supernatural God.
@@thematrix3663 You don't need deliverance from demons if you are a born again believer. If the Holy Spirits lives within us a demon cannot possess or control us. They can tempt us, attack us, influence us but not possess us. Most sins are based in the flesh not caused by demons.
I agree that Christians should not feel dependent on deliverance ministers to help them get free from demonic activity. God has given us His word and the Holy Spirit so we should never feel like we can't get free unless certain people pray for or lay hands on us. I start to question any minister's motives when they teach people to be dependent on them rather than teaching people that they don't really need them because of what God has already provided them.
