A few hours ago, I thought I was about to enter a dark season in my life. The Holy Spirit has moved while I was watching this video. You have given me courage and helped me to discern many things in this video. I thank God for a teacher like you.
Your testimony is a mirror of my own story. I was saved as a child and excelled at everything I put my mind to. Yet, I had a strange emptiness inside. At 23 I had graduated from the FBI Academy and was on top of the world. I was returning from an assignment in San Francisco headed back to DC when early one morning in the Mountains of Colorado I got on my knees and prayed like the young man Jacob in Genesis 32 “Lord, I’ll not let you go until you bless me”. Within a couple of weeks I met an absolutely beautiful girl from the Mountains of Kentucky. Later that year I married my Kentucky Wildcat, quit the Bureau and eventually became a Baptist missionary. 52 years has passed and i’ve been around the world 15 times, published 55 books and preached 10K times. I thank God for the day I went from law to grace.

I'm older than you are and have experienced my own version of your life stories. The lessons that you learned and can look back on in hindsight, are many of the lessons that I've also learned. However some are lessons that I am really relying on. I'm in a season where I've made a decision that is entirely Faith-based and am risking it all. I'm struggling but my hope is still there. Brother Allen, I am a 21 years old college student in Ethiopia. My life is to short to be told, but I have seen God orchestrating my experiences towards something I haven't figured out yet. WOW! I recently found your channel and now I know why. I retired from a 31-year career last September and graduated from doctorate school last month. I experienced many trials and tribulations during those 31 years on the job and more during doctorate school and the great thing is I learned to trust in God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit and I am truly blessed through it all because of the leading and guidance of God through His Word and Spirit. God provided insight and discernment working for people who didn't like me for no reason but their own, in whom God used for my good anyways😁 He made a way many many times I didn't see a away and, I want to I minister what I have learned, because it worked!!. Your testimony confirmed the ration I had about trajectory, character, timeline and online ministry, I believe can reach waaaaay more people online than in the traditional church. I want to reach hundreds of millions using social media and the power of God.

learning that you spent years in waiting for the Lord to reveal your calling really reasonated with me, Ive been in waiting for so long pursuing what I know He wants for me but things have not been coming together very easily at all, the process has been slow and exhausting at times and for the amount of years its been I started to think that it was unnatural and time to give up, but now I realise He is trying to ready my heart to be ready for his blessing and I should remain patient, obedient and its only a matter of time. However some are lessons that I am really relying on. I'm in a season where I've made a decision that is entirely Faith-based and am risking it all. I'm struggling but my hope is still there. The last lesson you had is one that I am hanging onto tightly: 'When God calls you to make a sacrifice, it's oftentimes because He has something greater for you'. I truly believe He does. Brother Allen, I am a 21 years old college student in Ethiopia. My life is to short to be told, but I have seen God orchestrating my experiences towards something I haven't figured out yet. He asked me to sacrifice before I was even old enough to leave home. Your testimony, sir is showing me what it is that is waiting for me at the end of the tunnel.
I want to truly bless you. You have no idea how much your videos have impacted my life. I met God in a different way through them which is just everything. But not only that, they also showed me where God is possibility calling me to do. I don't know how someone you never met could impact such a big part of one's life. I think someday when God give me a chance to make a video like this one, your name will be included as someone who had impact me. But even better, when we go home to our father, I know you will get a reward because of the work you have done towards my life.

There is no God besides Me.
I will gird you, though you have not known Me,
6 That they may know from the rising of the sun to its setting
That there is none besides Me.
I am the Lord, and there is no other;
7 I form the light and create darkness,
I make peace and create calamity;

WOW! I recently found your channel and now I know why. I retired from a 31-year career last September and graduated from doctorate school last month. I experienced many trials and tribulations during those 31 years on the job and more during doctorate school and the great thing is I learned to trust in God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit and I am truly blessed through it all because of the leading and guidance of God through His Word and Spirit. God provided insight and discernment working for people who didn't like me for no reason but their own, in whom God used for my good anyways😁 He made a way many many times I didn't see a away and, I want to I minister what I have learned, because it worked!!. Your testimony confirmed the ration I had about trajectory, character, timeline and online ministry, I believe can reach waaaaay more people online than in the traditional church. I want to reach hundreds of millions using social media and the power of God.

Satans favorite playground is the pulpit, the church leadersip and I think youth pastors. My Dad in the larer 1930s was invited to a mens Bible study and was approached. As a result I was forbidden to attend a teen Bible study through a group in my middle school. I'm so glad you shared that, thank you from a Metro Detroiter!
learning that you spent years in waiting for the Lord to reveal your calling really reasonated with me, Ive been in waiting for so long pursuing what I know He wants for me but things have not been coming together very easily at all, the process has been slow and exhausting at times and for the amount of years its been I started to think that it was unnatural and time to give up, but now I realise He is trying to ready my heart to be ready for his blessing and I should remain patient, obedient and its only a matter of time. That is a lesson I will remember. Thank you for sharing your testimony Allen.

Amen that’s so true. My husband and I both came from broken homes where our parents were divorced. But we both are saved . We were married for 15 years until he transitioned five months ago. He transitioned 12/31/2023 I miss him.
