Need a Rat pedal to make it legit. MA has some greasy, slimy sounding tones and I think you did a pretty good job with just the Nameless. Great riffing; MA is an ATF and I love seeing people jamming their songs. Kudos for skipping 2011, and for the stank face with those riffs!
@@12breacher82 yeah I mean by my standards, it wasn’t such a great tone. But looking back, that’s more or less how MA’s guitars typically sound (slimy, baked, and overall greasy). I’ve actually got a RAT style plugin pedal and it sounds fairly close. I often use it for bass so it’s distortion can glue well with the distortion of the guitars.
Don't forget how many people love Death and Chuck Shulinder to the core, too. I mean, they are great bands, but Morbid Angel is my personal favorite too. Hail the Angel! 🤟

I am a Massive Morbid Angel Fan but Chucks Musicality is Literally from Another Planet. I don’t care about how many Blast beats he used or how many Riffs he Trem Picked... Death is Untouchable.

@@Spongebob-lf5dn it’s a combination of looking for tabs and figuring it out by ear for this particular case. Most of the time tabs are wrong but they kinda give you a framework to start-off with.
I love how Trey plays his riffs. You can tell that he's probably self-taught by just the way they sound and play. Sure, the riffs are pretty standard for death metal nowadays, but nobody can play them exactly they way Trey does.

I guess they wanted to trick the fans into thinking they put something new out so they can make money... probably the same management that was responsible for "Illud Divinum Insanus" I'm just happy they returned to their former glory with Kingdoms Disdained

The Illud joke is fun and all but it's been a decade and people should have been able to figure out by now that there are at least a couple actually good Morbid Angel songs on that record. Well, one or two, possibly three.
Funny enough my first introduction to morbid was existo vulgore and later brought me into the whole death metal genre. Should of played at least 10 more dead 😅
HAHAHAHA. Believe, I do not like the indie stuff AT ALL. The indie scene is pretty strong where I live, and I don’t like it at al nor the people that form it. They are as pretentious as you would assume. Also, I’m just starting to grow my hair again after like 4 years where I had it pretty long.
