What an awesome comedy skit. The timing and delivery of the jokes were on point! I love the absurd situations the characters found themselves in. Better than any sitcom on TV. Well done.
Great film! What camera did you use? I have always been interested in filmmaking but I can't decide what camera to start with. There are so many choices. I can't decide between a DSLR or a mirrorless. Thanks for any help you can give me. I know that the camera is not as important as the story you are trying tell. Thanks again!
Hi there @jacoblawrence6580! Iain here (the director, DP, and editor on this project). So we used Black Magic Ursa G2. We shot this in the very end of 2018 so a lot of other models came out. If you’re looking for something that’s as Versatile, cheaper, and has some new features, I’d go with the Black Magic Pocket 6k Pro. It has built in ND filters, audio inputs, can record on mini ssds. The coolest thing about it is that it now records gyroscope movements on footage filmed in Black Magic Raw. English: you can walk around handheld with a camera and now in post get really good gliding motion (looks like it was filmed on a gimble) it’s definitely a an investment, all said and done with batteries, camera cage, ssds, shoulder rig, recording devices. It’ll all run you probably 4K to get started (plus lenses) but you’ll be set and there’s tons of resources online. If you need any help feel free to reach out at any time!
As a big fan of Westerns had to check this out. Where’s Matt Dillon when you need him against this stranger. Seriously though, the actor who plays the stranger is excellent! I feel so bad for the young man whose also an excellent actor. Glad he got saved by her.
Another run of the mill, boring, predictable mini flick to satisfy the ego of the guys who wrote it and directed it. No imagination, no creative ideas, just a reassembling of plots from dozens of other similar flicks. Yous guys should just play with Lego.
