Chocolate Pretzel Bark!! Noreen's Kitchen

- Greetings! Today I wanted to share some amazing and simple chocolate pretzel bark! This was inspired by the pretzels. I found them in the grocery store last week and they were so cute I knew just what to do with them. How can anything be bad when it is embedded in some tri flavored chocolate?
I am using Utz's holiday pretzels and they come in tree, bell and star shapes. I thought they were so cute that I had to do something with them to share. I love chocolate covered pretzels but I don't love making them. It can be long, tiring and tedious work coating them individually. So why bother? Just toss those pretzels right into that chocolate and let them come together in an amazing sweet and salty treat.
We combined one bag each of white chocolate chips, semi sweet chocolate chips and milk chocolate chips, but you should use whatever your tastes prefer. We also mixed in about a cup of dry roasted peanuts, but again, you use the nuts you like best. This was all placed on a baking sheet lined with foil and popped into a 250 degree oven and allowed to stay in there for 15 minutes until melted. The temperature is just warm enough to melt the chocolate but not hot enough to cook and burn it.
Molly thought it might be fun to add some mini marshmallows so we did. I also put some colorful holiday sprinkles on top, just for fun. We allowed it to set in the fridge and then gilded the lily and drizzled some melted some red and green candy melts over the top. Then allowed it to set for a little more time to harden.
Then it was time to break this bad boy up into manageable pieces. I popped some into a cute tin lined with both festive tissue and parchment and that is perfect for a gift for a teacher, friend, co worker or neighbor!
I hope this inspires you to give pretzel bark a try and I hope you love it!

Those are the cutest pretzels EVER! I have never seen those and would want to hoard them if I did. This is pretty and a great quick idea -- thanks, Noreen!
Okay this is going on my Christmas buffet. Love the easy melt-in-the-oven method!! You're the best!
Noreen, thanks for the fun you are putting into Christmas with these great recipes you are sharing. I really love the music you play as well and can't get that little Christmas jingle out of my head. Love you guys. Have a blessed holiday.
Just made a batch. I always use toll house chips instead of off brands never had a problem melting them. Really have to stay with It and be sure to bring them out on time or they wilk seize up. I put the little marshmellows in mine to (Thanks Mollie). Walmart didn't have the christmas sprinkles so I used just the everday party sprinkles, just as festive. Just set mine outside instead of the fridge (in upstate NY we can do that in the winter LOL) can't wait for it to be done. Using it for gifts for the Dr. Office and my Granddaughters teachers. Quick, easy, inexpensive and looks like more then what it is. My kind of receipe!!!!
What a great way to do this Noreen! thanks for sharing. Those pretzels are too cute!
Just an update. I made this for a Christmas party. What a hit!!!! I also made a variation of it with rice krispies instead of pretzels. Loved it!!!! Going to try adding some coffee crystals to the chocolate to add some coffee flavor and a little crunch. See how that works.

LOLOL my dog is going crazy looking for a cat that clearly does not reside here with us.
i'm always waiting for your husband to get a taste.
Chocolate :D
But I did not put nuts in it
I just attempted this and made a MESS. My chips WOULD NOT melt in the oven. What in the world could I have possibly done?
It appeared that they had seized. I have never ever had luck with melting chips. I am gonna try again. Thanks for the quick response.
You can melt your chips in a bowl over a pan of hot water on the stove and Pour it over the pretzels then chill if you find it easier
