I used brown sugar. Looks and tastes better. Also put toffee brickle instead of almond flour for crunch. So good!

As a pharmacist, your one pots have been an easy staple for me to make the night before my weekly 15 hour shifts where I’m too exhausted to think about meals. The ingredient list/recipe posted during the video is different than the one online. Which is correct? The one on the website includes baking soda and cream of tartar.
I noticed that too, the written recipe has been updated since my first batch. That recipe says to cool 10 minutes, but the video says 10 minutes. I guess I'll go for 20 minutes :)

Is there a good substitute for almond flour? I think my family would LOVE these, but my son is allergic to almonds.
The candy I make is made in an 8x8 metal pan. Lay an 16" piece of waxed paper across it. Fill half the bottom with salted peanuts. Take 15 thin pretzel sticks, each one broken into 4 pieces, and add in. Stir. Melt a pkg of vanilla flavored white chocolate melts according to pkg instructions. Pour into the pan slowly, covering the bottom. Using a spoon, poke under all the peanuts & pretzels in order to get the chocolate under all the pieces, otherwise, all the pieces will fall out when you break it up. Add colored sugar or Christmas themed shaped sugar pieces. Chill 15 minutes.

Do you let them cool for 10 minutes or 30 minutes? The video and picture-recipe on the website shows 10 minutes, but the actual recipe underneath (update with CoT and soda) says 30 minutes. Working on my second batch. :)

I use almond flour because I like the taste. You can use all-purpose flour, but you have to bake it first to make it food safe. You can also use coconut flour!
Any suggestions on making a whole bunch? I bought a bunch of containers, but I'm a little intimidated to get going! :)
Well...I am doing the same exact thing this week. I’ve been working in stages. One batch makes about 4 regular sized mason jar gifts. The whole recipe takes less than an hour...so I will be making one a day this week. Not too intimidating when you do it that way😉

Suggestion for a best substitute for the almond flour due to tree nut allergy?
Coconut flour would work too...or just bake all-purpose flout for 5 minutes at 400 degrees to make it food safe before using.

Almond flour is food safe right out of the bag. If you want to use regular all-purpose flour you have to bake it first. Plus I love the taste of almond:)
