Incredible. Was it my imagination or was this the most perfect set for someone who carried a sign all day yesterday? I may have to repeat it tomorrow after carrying a sign today. "What does it fell like to be awake?" My answer was "Pain" and I started crying. And after half an hour I realized that I am happy, because even if now I feel only pain, the most important thing is that I finally let myself feel. Less than a year ago I got out of the 13 years of abusive relationships and I have been trying to claim my life back ever since. Two months ago I have found Adriene and now I am here every day. Thank you so much, Adriene. Thanks to you I can now re-connect my body and my inner self. You are doing amazing things for people all around this world. Yoga is so much more than I ever thought it would be.
I just want to say this session was fantastic today, I felt so good afterwards. After completing 30 days of Yiga with Adrienne and now in day 20 of True 30 days yoga I feel so different. My core is strong, my posture is tall, my back pain is gone, my legs have slimmed and I can walk for miles up hills without aches and pains. In my 50 th year I don’t know why I haven’t done yoga before. Thank you Adrienne . I am a daily yoga practitioner for life xxx

I am alright now, thank you so much for asking. I have managed to completely rebuilt my life, to stop panick attacks, to get rid of the fear of men. I live my life with my cats peacefully in my own apartment in the city by the seaside, I have a small jewelry brand, and I have friends, and I live a full joyful life. And I think a large part of my recovery is due to this channel. Here I have started to reconnect with my body again, to heal it. And yoga became a part of my everyday morning routine. So I hope you will find your experience here, and with yoga in general, at least as positive as I have. Sending you all the best wishes 💕

Such awakening poses and postures! To be awake to me means to realize and notice that beauty is already within and around me. Everything is already in my reach and control - I just need to believe and notice it :)

I thought Happy, painful (because of the Fibromyalgia) tiring for the same reason, sad at times, but over all good. It's good to be awake, and it's good to be alive. I went into this practice a little bit hesitant, because I've been having a lot of migraines lately, and the length of this practice was a little bit daunting because of that. However, this practice was perfect for me! It was calming and invigorating at the same time, and I'm glad that I gave it a chance. Thank you for everything, Adriene
Adriene, So I remember you mentioned sometime recently that you’re working on your cues as a teacher, so that we could follow without looking at the screen. I thought of that when about 3/4 of the way through the practice, I looked at the screen and realized I had tapped it with my toe at some point during the practice, so the screen was blocked, and didn’t even realize cause I hadn’t looked at the screen the whole time, and I was able to do the practice by just the voice cues! I wanted to send kudos. I love this awaken practice and am thankful for all you do for us! 🌻
My cat woke me up while it was still dark. I couldn’t get back to sleep so I checked my phone - the only notification was Adriene’s email “Day 20 AWAKEN” ... it was like a sign. 🧘🏻♀️✨❤️ Hope everyone has a great day!
It was a chaotic morning. Although I was interupted a few times during this practice, I managed to complete it and the practice ended at 11:11. What a sign of awakening. Thank you Adriene. I started 2018 with depression and anxiety and my friend recommended me to sign up True and I am glad that I did it and follow through until day 20. Everyday I'm still having lots of resistances and inner struggles but your videos make a difference. It's something that motivates a little every morning no matter how I felt. What I love about this practice is that it's SAFE to do every day, because Adriene (obviously) knows what we did "yesterday" and balances it (no pun inteneded, but I like it) with what we are going to do today and moving forward.

I haven't watched the video yet, but I would like to share something else. The weekly Sunday email I received today was important to me. I've had a rough day with challenging thoughts, and when I read "we are already the person we want to be" I just started to cry. And I was brought back to the present when you said that you practice yoga to uncover yourself. It's so easy to get lost in the monkey mind. I thank you for being you, and sharing what you share!
I have found being awake to me makes me be more empathetic and thoughtful. It allows me to know that I am in control of my thoughts and actions. It is great training for learning to live in pandemic times.

One of the reasons I love this channel is that I'm always blown away by the synchronicity of the videos that come out and what it is I need on that day. This is another one of those times...it is exactly what my body was needing today, day 20! Thanks Adriene.
What does it mean to be "awake?" To me, it means to have my body and my mind be congruent. Oftentimes, I have swirling thoughts and a feel as though I am watching my life rather than living it. I do not feel many emotions except for sadness. Not even fear or excitement. Just sadness. To be awake would mean to FEEL life thoroughly with my mind AND body. Not just living in my head with a numbness to the world. Thank you for this video. At the end, I felt at peace for some time. I felt like I was where I needed to be and felt a mind-body connection for a brief moment. Thank you ♥

I feel like a different person to the person I was a month and a half ago. In everyday life I feel myself being grounded and centred, and content. FOREVER grateful!

This is my third year of yoga with Adriene, and third 30 days of yoga series. I LOVE ADRIENE! This is the first year I'm actually doing every single video on the day it's posted, no days off. I usually use the excuse of being tired after work, or too cold, to take a day off, but then I don't finish the series until March! THANK YOU SO MUCH ADRIENE! You have changed my life!

Greet, May 20, 2024. Shoulders couldn't take the reverse bridge for too long, but I stuck with it. A little bit of heat but nothing daunting. Was able to reduce some morning stress and overall felt good at the end.
The yoga is a tremendous gift and I am learning a tonne about myself and about yoga, thanks to your guidance, Adriene. I'm discovering, too, that the positivity and encouragement and gratitude in the UA-cam comments from people all over the globe is a true unexpected blessing. Usually during yoga my dog gets on the couch and sleeps. Today she curled up on the mat beside me. It made me miss Benji a bit today, but so glad my girl was with me through the awaken practice.
BTW, I taught a kindergarten class today and they practice yoga everyday (cosmic yoga, it;s so cute) and I couldn't not believe how some just loved it, some not so much, but all were giving it a chance (which is all that matters to me). Even them saying Namaste melted my heart, this community is growing and I am SO happy about it.
Hi Adriene! Comia Catcha from day 19 of the Catch a Wave June Calendar and I am so happy for this practice today because I believe that ut showed me that not all awakenings are harsh, rough on the physical body, hurtful to the mind and intense in feeling overall. I have had many awakenings this past year, many that hurt me at first and took a shock to my system both mentally and physically. The past is the last and I am indirectly thankful for them, even though I did feel hurt at the time. The reason why I continue with the practice is because it teaches me something new everyday, and I am so thankful for that. So today, I learned to embrace the small awakenings and to understand that your whole life does not have to change based off an awakening; that instead an awakening can show us how important it is to make small changes towards the positive future. Man I love True Tuesdays. The only time I had my eyes open during this practice was downward dog, otherwise my eyes were shut for all of the poses. Not sure why. But yesterday’s yoga practice was very raw for me, and very frustrated, so I think it was my body’s way of telling me to slow down and look inward to find the peace I needed to truly chillax and destress. That’s my theory anyway!!! But I feel I will always have a special connection with these videos, as they got me into yoga to begin with. Coming back to them is like going back to one of your old teachers. You know them and their methods so well, you could do one of their classes with your eyes shut. To know and feel the vessel of my soul that is my body at a cellular level is what it feels like being awake. And my god, that flush of energy that circulates up and down my spine when I remind myself to align my spinal column consciously, a feeling I never knew was possible. You've taught me that Adriene. I still remember when I first started watching your videos around 2 years back. My heart was drawn towards yoga, and your videos made me more and more curious and kept me coming back. I started doing this after finishing home in quarantine..I had to take breaks from this one due to sickness and other circumstances..but I always found myself coming back, and now going strong at day 20! You know for the last few weeks I wasn't able keeping my eyes closed during the yoga practice even for a second. My fears were getting to me. But after today's practice I was finally able to do my post practice pranayama + meditation with my eyes closed. Grateful for this practice.

my depression has hit me hard today and I really didn't feel like doing yoga at all but I thought I might just press play on one of your videos just to hear your beautifly calming voice so I did it and then woke up 25 minutes later hearing the ending music... Did day 19 and 20 today. Love how different muscles are being used each day of the 30 day journey. This is my favorite of the 30 day journeys that you have done as this one is a slower pace and works on things different parts of the body each time we get on the mat. 😍
I've found this 30 day journey more challenging than previous years, but this was the first day I felt I could really melt into the practice and enjoy. It was a lovely way to wake up on a Sunday morning. Thanks, Adriene!

Beautiful practice as I head to bed tonight. I sincerely love how my body feels now that I have been doing yoga for a while. The practice definitely comes off the mat, which for me led to my passion for art all over again, more patience, a healthier approach to health, being kind to my body, being kind to others, letting the meaningless annoyances go, I could go on. How does it feel to be awake? I’m still pondering that one. I love being alive and want to bring something good into the world, (apart from my daughter ☺️) but that’s all I can think of right now. I haven't watched the video yet, but I would like to share something else. The weekly Sunday email I received today was important to me. I've had a rough day with challenging thoughts, and when I read "we are already the person we want to be" I just started to cry. And I was brought back to the present when you said that you practice yoga to uncover yourself. It's so easy to get lost in the monkey mind. I thank you for being you, and sharing what you share!

I have found being awake to me makes me be more empathetic and thoughtful. It allows me to know that I am in control of my thoughts and actions. It is great training for learning to live in pandemic times.

One of the reasons I love this channel is that I'm always blown away by the synchronicity of the videos that come out and what it is I need on that day. This is another one of those times...it is exactly what my body was needing today, day 20! Thanks Adriene.
What does it mean to be "awake?" To me, it means to have my body and my mind be congruent. Oftentimes, I have swirling thoughts and a feel as though I am watching my life rather than living it. I do not feel many emotions except for sadness. Not even fear or excitement. Just sadness. To be awake would mean to FEEL life thoroughly with my mind AND body. Not just living in my head with a numbness to the world.
Thank you for this video. At the end, I felt at peace for some time. I felt like I was where I needed to be and felt a mind-body connection for a brief moment. Thank you ♥

This is my third year of yoga with Adriene, and third 30 days of yoga series. I LOVE ADRIENE! This is the first year I'm actually doing every single video on the day it's posted, no days off. I usually use the excuse of being tired after work, or too cold, to take a day off, but then I don't finish the series until March! THANK YOU SO MUCH ADRIENE! You have changed my life!
Ohhhhh that was so perfect. True has been utterly perfect for this season of Covid. Thank you, Adriene. I was awake for 2 hours last night and wasn't feeling great but yoga ALWAYS makes me feel better and I know how good it is for me.
I find myself much more flexible and getting more completely relaxed readily following Adrienne everyday!

Greet, May 20, 2024. Shoulders couldn't take the reverse bridge for too long, but I stuck with it. A little bit of heat but nothing daunting. Was able to reduce some morning stress and overall felt good at the end.
The yoga is a tremendous gift and I am learning a tonne about myself and about yoga, thanks to your guidance, Adriene. I'm discovering, too, that the positivity and encouragement and gratitude in the UA-cam comments from people all over the globe is a true unexpected blessing. Thank you, Adriene, for the community you've cultivated and nourished. Thank you to everyone sharing this practice. Usually during yoga my dog gets on the couch and sleeps. Today she curled up on the mat beside me. It made me miss Benji a bit today, but so glad my girl was with me through the awaken practice.

BTW, I taught a kindergarten class today and they practice yoga everyday (cosmic yoga, it;s so cute) and I couldn't not believe how some just loved it, some not so much, but all were giving it a chance (which is all that matters to me). Even them saying Namaste melted my heart, this community is growing and I am SO happy about it.

Hi Adriene! Comia Catcha from day 19 of the Catch a Wave June Calendar and I am so happy for this practice today because I believe that ut showed me that not all awakenings are harsh, rough on the physical body, hurtful to the mind and intense in feeling overall. I have had many awakenings this past year, many that hurt me at first and took a shock to my system both mentally and physically. The past is the last and I am indirectly thankful for them, even though I did feel hurt at the time. The reason why I continue with the practice is because it teaches me something new everyday, and I am so thankful for that. So today, I learned to embrace the small awakenings and to understand that your whole life does not have to change based off an awakening; that instead an awakening can show us how important it is to make small changes towards the positive future. Thank you as always,

Man I love True Tuesdays. The only time I had my eyes open during this practice was downward dog, otherwise my eyes were shut for all of the poses. Not sure why. But yesterday’s yoga practice was very raw for me, and very frustrated, so I think it was my body’s way of telling me to slow down and look inward to find the peace I needed to truly chillax and destress. That’s my theory anyway!!! But I feel I will always have a special connection with these videos, as they got me into yoga to begin with. Coming back to them is like going back to one of your old teachers. You know them and their methods so well, you could do one of their classes with your eyes shut. And that’s exactly what I did today.

To trace my breath moment by moment as I move through life, that's what it feels like to be awake. To know and feel the vessel of my soul that is my body at a cellular level is what it feels like being awake. And my god, that flush of energy that circulates up and down my spine when I remind myself to align my spinal column consciously, a feeling I never knew was possible. You've taught me that Adriene. I still remember when I first started watching your videos around 2 years back. My heart was drawn towards yoga, and your videos made me more and more curious and kept me coming back. I am so grateful for your presence. You have no idea what a big role you have played in helping me awaken. I hope I get to meet you in person some day
I started doing this after finishing home in quarantine..I had to take breaks from this one due to sickness and other circumstances..but I always found myself coming back, and now going strong at day 20! Thank you Adrienne for showing me what I am capable of..I can truly say, I am proud of myself for coming back and not giving up
Can't imagine a life without a daily yoga practice anymore :-)

You know for the last few weeks I wasn't able keeping my eyes closed during the yoga practice even for a second. My fears were getting to me. But after today's practice I was finally able to do my post practice pranayama + meditation with my eyes closed. Grateful for this practice.

my depression has hit me hard today and I really didn't feel like doing yoga at all but I thought I might just press play on one of your videos just to hear your beautifly calming voice so I did it and then woke up 25 minutes later hearing the ending music... I actually did it, I made it through the whole video!

Did day 19 and 20 today. Love how different muscles are being used each day of the 30 day journey. This is my favorite of the 30 day journeys that you have done as this one is a slower pace and works on things different parts of the body each time we get on the mat. 😍
I've found this 30 day journey more challenging than previous years, but this was the first day I felt I could really melt into the practice and enjoy. It was a lovely way to wake up on a Sunday morning. Thanks, Adriene!

I LOVE when you just break out in a song "that is why we're here" lol I literally laugh out loud every time! You are an amazing instructor and i look forward to this challenge every day! So wonderful Adriene! My big fluffy kitty cat decided he wanted to do yoga with me today, so he just sat there on my mat like Benji does. So great. Muscle memory is amazing, even though it was about 9 months since I’ve done a yoga dedication like this for myself my body just knows what it’s doing! Amazing. Namaste
Beautiful practice as I head to bed tonight. I sincerely love how my body feels now that I have been doing yoga for a while. The practice definitely comes off the mat, which for me led to my passion for art all over again, more patience, a healthier approach to health, being kind to my body, being kind to others, letting the meaningless annoyances go, I could go on. How does it feel to be awake? I’m still pondering that one. I love being alive and want to bring something good into the world, (apart from my daughter ☺️) but that’s all I can think of right now.
