This is my first time EVER playing this! ~ oh booy this will be something else.
I am already way ahead with this game since my community had been warning me about apoilers and I took it to heart and recorded alot of videos ahead of time. :)
I hope you all will enjoy this first timer, playing The Last of us: Part 2

59:05 If you ever run across a safe and haven't found the combination, you can still open it. Listen carefully while spinning through the numbers. When you land on the correct number the click will sound slightly different. It's just a trick I noticed when opening safes. I found myself having more fun cracking all the safes like this even if I had the combo on me. 😄
1:23:27 Five seconds after telling about heart palpitations from energy drinks, an infected zAmbie almost gives you a heart attack! What bad timing! 🤪 But yeah energy drinks ain't no joke! I can't really have even one cuz it gives me jitters. I'll just stick with Dr Peppers for my caffeine. 😜
1:32:05 I really enjoyed this small open area part. I really hope TLOU3 is more of an open world type game. I love getting to explore without risking a linear progression by accidentally opening the wrong door. Always made me so mad being forced into the next area when there were things I wanted to go back to.

I don't know if anyone's mentioned this already but there's actually a way of opening safe when you don't know the password (kinda like breaking into it)
All you have to do is turn you volume up and slowly twist the safe knob (scrolling through the numbers) and when you lend on the correct number, it will make slightly distinct click sound (slightly louder click sound). I don't know, I think it's really cool they added that in there.

I'm so glad you kept the song in the video. I've watched your entire TLOU journey, and plan to continue. The jump scare just in the right timing, looking forward for more of those haha
I've only watched the first three minutes, but I can already thumbs up this vid because of the intro. You are a wise, thoughtful person-- maybe more than you know-- and I look forward to hearing more of your thoughts and opinions as the story unfolds (and in future stories).
I think this game is more art than entertainment. Art doesn't have to be fun, or even enjoyable, and TLOU2 is often neither of those. A lot of people think that makes it a "bad game." But I think if you're willing to give it its due-- let it provoke your thoughts, challenge your morals, force you outside your comfort zone-- then you will know yourself better after playing this game. That's a worthy goal for a work of art.

Little tip: when an enemy's running at you, aim for it's leg and not the head; this will make the enemy fall to the ground and that allows you to smash their heads against the ground.
The shooting in this game is fun to figure out, stealthy is fun but sometimes your getting tackled and gotta shoot really fast too.
I always went for stealth when I played it, spending a lot of time to figure out the best strategy, but sometimes there is no choice like here in the garage. But I am so bad at shooting I always wasted bullets, and in these kind of games I hate wasting bullets, like if my life depended on it 😄
Very Naice Channel... Very Nice Girl... The last of Us Part 1 and 2 are impressive. But as linear as they are. They require exploration to find resources and improve weapons, items and other interesting things... Greetings.
Didn't really see Jackie playing on this one. But saw Ninjackie instead, the stealth Zambie slayer.

I liked so much the passage with the "take on me" cover, I have a dedicated save to be able to replay it any time I want.
You're the first youtuber I've seen who actually has the patience to get all the way through a zambie fight without breaking stealth.
Have you seen speedruns of this game? Runners use and abuse chekpoints mechanics, but their strategies are insane. I watched runs from Anthony Caliber, this man is an absolute beast!
I for one have no patience 😆 I'd usually just go in guns blazing if I had the bullets. I only did stealth when I ran out of ammo 😂
@@Capricornhell I watched a few clips of him, and my first thought was, he's almost too good. I mean, why bother with stealth when you're basically a human aimbot? But I guess we have to attribute at least some of his miraculous shooting skill to having the game memorized (he does use stealth in his first playthrough). Not that I could ever reach his level with any amount of practice.
@@Kha0tic Who doesn't love going full Rambo? That said, one of the things I've learned to appreciate about Jackie's play style is that she often _doesn't_ do things the way I would.
Can’t wait for the next part. This game isn’t an open world no but that part was big yeah.
Find someone who looks at you like Dina looks at Ellie in the music shop. That's the goal.

This game is brutal. Absolutely brutal. I love TLOU 1 and 2. I've played TLOU MANY times through. That is not the same for part 2.

I really hate the way they did Joel in this game. I absolutely loved the first game and the way Joel and Ellie's relationship came together. But one of my favorite moments from this game is when you see Ellie singing here, and the words of the song reflect how life is precious and can end at any moment. If they were going to kill Joel off I just wish they had gone about it in a different way.
Maybe that's the unfortunate point, life won't just give you honorable deaths, even to the most righteous and virtuous saints you could imagine. Sometimes evil people get to live and die happy bastards...our consolation is nothing but what the game offers. It was quite dramatic and having Ellie witness that last moment before he passed was pure tragedy and sorrow, so I understand the desire for a "proper death", but again, nothing is certain in our stupid world, it just sucks, nothing more, nothing less...it's the way of the world.
@@snaz388 It couldn't have been done in a better way imo, it was shocking and raw and that's life for you, especially in a place that doesn't have rules or law anymore. It's a very emotionally mature game and I've never played anything like it before in my life, the themes and the story is just something you don't really see done in games which is why it was more of a cinematic experience in a game formula. Truly an unforgettable experience. Can only imagine what part 3 is going to be like..

Why? The whole point was everyone was taken off-guard when Joel died. It was pure emotion.
@@AS-zt3xl And puts you right in the shoes of ellie, which is a perfect example of storytelling. Especially in a game.
