Tertullian is my favorite by far of the early leaders. Example, he wrote a small book on patience and at the start explaining that what qualified him to write about patience is he had none.

Im glad to be back to taking notes in this school after my trip to greece with my pastor husband on sabbatical! Was in Athens 2 days ago!
Also very excited to hear your explanations of greek orhodoxy which continue to confuse me as i observed it head on in greece! But i will be patient.

Thank you pastor Lance, love all the information. I wonder if your team could do a chart like a family tree type of chart so I could keep everyone straight, giving a base of study to follow. Lots to absorb, beautiful explanation. Happy resurrection day

Oh boy do i know what you mean about the orthodox. Dont worry. He said in a previous episode that he will devote plenty of time to the development of the eastern orthodox church since its almost another thing entirely from the latin church of the west. Im taking notes.
