Fascinating interview. Loved getting to know the personal side of John Edward. Seems a very kind and charming man.
I am a now 73 year old woman who had an NDE at 17. Two years before, I had withdrawn from,what you’d call now, a evangelical. I felt deeply, I could no longer support the concept that only those persons deemed worthy would receive the prize of entering “Heaven”. After my NDE, I knew that I was right! I that I had come face to face, and had been consumed by Love Herself/ Himself. I am now a follower of Christ who loves ALL mankind, and a believer in God from which all life has come, and whom all like will return.
It wasn’t until I “stumbled “ upon this podcast that John was validating everything that I experienced on the night of December 20th!

John, thank you so very much for just being you and refusing to allow anything or anyone to change you. I pride myself on very similar values to you as a psychic medium and watching you as I was growing, really helped me to stay firm on my own boundaries and thoughts, instead of being drawn to the crowds of extreme. For that I’m so very grateful.
I had a reading with Colin fry, literally the very last show he managed to give. He told me so many amazing things. One was that I was my nans favourite and not to let anyone make me feel different. Nan always said I was a medium, she guided me from a young age when I began seeing things, I’d be afraid and she’d be able to help me understand that what I was seeing and feeling was normal and I didn’t need to be afraid. One day, you’ll use all these things you see feel and hear and you’ll help people more than you could know. It obviously made no sense at the time but it always comforted me. I grew up believing we all saw and knew things, and my Nan was amazing at helping me feel accepted for this. As did mum when I started telling her things I was seeing or knowing.
Colin fry told me much of this in my reading, he said to always remember we had an especially close bond and that we’d had many lives together, that she was waiting for me when it’s my time and we will be together again. My Nan always told me this. She explained how she loved us all the same but we had a unique bond that tied us together, and we’d be together to do it all again when we cross over. My Nan also told Colin how I gave her “an almost spiritual crossing” I saw lots of people coming to wait for Nan and to let her know she wasn’t alone, she wasn’t to be afraid. I only knew of 3 of these and there was many!! My aunty was there, as was mum, and as I described what these people looked liked what their bond with Nan or her mum felt like, what they were telling me, I knew none of it and my aunty and my mum confirmed it all. My Nan told Colin about that, how all her family came and what really surprised me, was my granddads family were also there. Again o didn’t know them but once I described their looks and personality my aunt was able to place them. I was so shocked when Colin mentioned all this.
She thanked me for taking the tension out of the situation between my mum and my aunty and making a peaceful environment for her…. She talked of how I was bringing up happy memories of Nan and holding her hand.
Before my Nan passed, she was heavily sedated and unable to communicate but I heard my Nan at that time, thanking me, and relaxing when she knew I had a handle on the situation and how I had bought them together even if for just that one day, they behaved like loving sisters and daughters.
I heard her thanking me, I felt a wonderful hug and a wink, and she said, “you know it’s nearly time, don’t you” I told her it’s okay Nan, I will be fine, I promise you, you can go see granddad and your mum n dad now…. Don’t fight it for us, you taught us to be strong remember, so when you’re ready Nan, theyre all here waiting to take you on your new journey. I thanked her for all the love, and kindness she’d given me. She was another mum to me, a best best friend and my biggest supporter. No one ever understood me like my nan did. I’m forever grateful for her guidance as I grew up with the ability to know things, see, feel, hear, smell…. She taught me so much, most of all that I didn’t need to be afraid of my “gift” nothing would happen that would scare me and I was always in control… she taught me how to close down so I wasn’t always picking up everyone else’s energies. Which in my teens that really affected me.
Some how, Colin managed to encapsulate my nans energy so well that I could FEEL her there with me, I could see her smiling when my heart was bursting with all the evidence.
Even as a medium it’s so beautiful to receive a genuine reading and it gives us the same feelings it does for everyone else. It’s the most wonderful ability and I get so much joy from bringing comfort to others as well as teaching them about the after life. I always find it important to let them understand the meaning of our journey here

I feel like I'm slightly psychic myself, but I'm not sure to what extent. I'll be honest with you, I feel like I need a reading in the worst possible way, but I'm dirt poor, and can't afford to get one. I KNOW my mom is always with me because I can feel her all the time, but, of course, I can't hear her. I KNOW my 3 year old son Lazarus has spoken to both my parents, because young children are able to still have that connection to the other side because of their innocence, and he's popped off with stuff that my mom always did with me that I HAVEN'T done with him yet, and I KNOW the only way he'd know about it is if my mom told him. I just have a LOT of questions for my mom and dad that I KNOW aren't able to be answered any other way than through a medium, but being unable to afford a reading is one of the HARDEST things I've had to accept. I just have a LOT of wounds that need healing that I don't believe can be healed any other way than with the answers I need from my parents with the help of a medium. My life is in a VERY VOLATILE transition period, and getting to talk to my parents from the other side would REALLY BE a blessing and a help for healing. I'm NOT specifically asking you in particular if you would be able/willing to help me, but if you'd be able and/or willing to help me get connected to someone who would be willing to help me, I would be eternally grateful. I live in the states and I have a sadness deep inside me. I am not depressed and I know God is there, not afraid of leaving but would like to stay for a while yet. But a sadness, I was born in 1942 so I am not a young person anymore…Some day I will be able to sit down again with my parents and finally rock my firstborn stillbirth son. May God bless you always.

Aside from the obvious reason we watch John, it’s his humility and genuineness that is fundamental to why some of us continue to listen. To understand and see the world in its energetic form. Which is obviously known scientifically. I am more than intrigued and drawn to know more. And John is the reason for that. There are many “psychics”

In this regard. At least for the ones I’m aware of. There are others like him, just not in the spotlight or wanting to teach. Therefore not being in the spotlight. I am grateful for John and his mission. I’m inspired and have a desire to learn more. I too believe we all can and are born able to do this just as we all breath. For me, I appreciate John putting himself out there. Cause I’m sure it’s not an easy task to endure. Yet he does. And I’m glad he does. And I want to know more.
I saw him a few years back in Tarrytown. I was there doing genealogical research and John happened to be at the hotel in which I was staying. Like most people, I was so disappointed not to have a reading. I did however think he kept looking in my direction and I wondered if maybe the hundred or so relatives in SH cemetery were trying to steal the show. I always wanted to have a private reading but sadly I am not in a position to do so. I hope his work continues to help and heal people.

Very cool. It was good to see under the hood so to speak. I didn't pay attention about this sort of thing until Easter Sunday 2015 when my wife passed. We had been apart for several years but stayed friendly and saw each other regularly. Then breast cancer took her. Our youngest called me to tell me of her passing that night. Then for 3 days on and off she was with me at the house. Totally unexpected but it was her and at that point I knew for real, no doubt, we don't die. I have learned alot since then and in fact she came with my mom to say hello while I watched this video. So, I really enjoyed the video and had a really cool visit during the video. I lost my partner in November to cancer. I've been visited by him in dreams often, especially a week after he died. I'm so interested in this topic and the afterlife in general.

An amazing interview.My 16yr old cat and 14yr old fog have recently died. I am devastated . I loved these wee soulz so much. The hardest thing to end a loved ones lufe. My cats death more peaceful yet more shocking my dogs death more planned but motmre traumatic. His loud 2 howls from the injections as he shot out my arms will stay with me forever. Hia last few seconds on life before he was aedated were of fear and pain and I couldn't protect him. I am a nurse and some deaths are more peaceful.The ones who fight on and struggle more must be more traumatic to their loved ones left behind who were sitting at the bedside

I had a similar experience to John's Pearl Harbor experience. I went to the LBJ memorial; and I was doing fine until I got to the JFK section. The grief was so overwhelming it was if I experienced it myself, the amount of tears and grief flowing through me was stunning; and I had to get out of there quickly as possible. I had not quite stepped into this life when JFK was assassinated; yet it felt as if I were experiencing the event. I knew it would be a somber museum exhibit; but I did not expect this level of grief. The memory of this experience and the thought of Pearl Harbor, right now, is making it clear to me that I could not handle the energy of the Pearl Harbor memorial.
Sleep paralysis is what they call a person that can't move. I can relate to many topics, I met many gifted people in my life.

30:00 I was raised Catholic and even though I have stepped away from _The Church_ I have always felt grateful for the religious teachings I got as a child, even though my personal faith has gone down a different path, as I liken it to having a computer (your mind) and having downloaded a program (religious/spiritual teachings) that gives you a _Folder_ in which you can keep and understand things of a spiritual nature.
33:00 Does everyone have psychic abilities? Can anyone do this? Just like with music where anyone _can_ learn how to play piano, some few _can_ learn to play like Beethoven, some will only learn to play _Mary Had A Little Lamb,_ most will fall somewhere in between, Some can learn to follow their own hunches, others will be able to direct others, but not everyone can learn to get their hunches on demand, or learn to hear accurately without their own thoughts and egos getting in the way.
I love what John said about religion and spirituality, that it is good as a structure but religion has many issues like power and control and instead, to be more spiritual and open. That to me sounds much more like what the Universe/God approach be. Open to everyone. Also what he says about not needing a reading because "If we understand that there is a survival of consciousness, that life and love are eternal, if we can understand signs and symbols that happen around us then we can build that bridge and be 50% of the equation and incorporate them into our own lives"

I have had that dark figure jump on me 4 separate occasions trying to harm or kill me. I'm a professional working psychic medium. The scientists like to call it sleep paralysis and sat you get it when you are overtired or sleep deprived. I was neither of those. I do understand their analysis of it but having experienced it myself and being a fully spiritual person I know better. Definitely a dark energy or demon. I, personally opened unbeknownst to me or had a portal open in the room it continually happened but I also had entities come from outside that room into it. I also do space clearing and blessing thank God as I did that ritual in that room and the portal closed. Ever since closing the portal it all stopped.
I am a psychic intuitive and I’ve had the same experience from something attached to a client. Changed my life to be more protective.
I too had that dark thing run down the hall towards me at night, in the dark, then jump on top me while I got under my covers. I knew he was pulling on my covers…but he was never there when I peeked out. This happened for a couple of years ages like 4-7. Very scary.

My speculation is that Heaven is a different sphere to earth life, and when loved ones make contact with us, they lower their vibrations to fit into our earthly sphere, so they are limited to describe what their life is like on the other side.
Also maybe we not meant to know too much about heaven, otherwise people would be killing themselves to get there or become too discontented in their earth life etc.

I really believe in John’s ability as a psychic medium, him and Matt Fraser. I don’t have half the faith in Tyler Henry though because he usually only reads for celebrities and all their personal information is already out there. Tyler is pretentious for being a “celebrity medium.” That’s what I love about John, he prefers not to read celebrities plus he understands skepticism because he use to be a skeptic. John is so concise in his readings that you simply can’t walk away a skeptic. I’m going to try one of his zoom readings.
That feeling has been attatched to those who were out of their body ie; Astro Traveling' and as they re-enterr the body in the bed ...the soul is still fitting itself back in the physical body cuasing the person to wake and become aware.
