I love the part about profound dreams being a way a deceased loved one can visit .... my mom died 10 years ago and I will never forget the dreams I had for several months after her death. There were so many but one common theme was I would tell her in my dream. "I knew you weren't dead. They tried to tell me to move on but you're real you're here with me! I would touch her (on the arm usually) and it felt as real as touching someone in real life." I think the dreams stopped bc it hurt so much to wake up and feel the gut punching reality that she wasn't here that it was just a dream. I realize now after so many years that it was a beautiful moment of a visit from my mom. I had to go thru a lot of healing and even a whole drug addiction (heroin/meth/anything to feel better) I numbed myself for years then finally got clean right before having my 2nd son. I've been clean 5 years. I know my mom would be so proud!

I have experienced what you described...my former husband visited me and I could feel his hand, even his shirt. The part you will love is that he had one of our dogs with him,and told me that everything I loved in this life will be waiting for me when I cross over ♥️

I had similar dreams, to the point that I thought the dreams were the reality & waking became Hell all over again! That happened with both my parents in my dreams. Now...I ask to feel their presence, but not to see them in my dreams. Now...there’s no confusion as to which is real or the dream.
They say that the soul never dies. You and your mother will meet again. In the meantime, appreciate the time you both had with each other in this lifetime, and be the best version of yourself which she would love to see you be.

My dissertation was on brain death - brain death and coma are not the same thing. Brain dead means you're dead, coma means you're alive. Just wanted to point that out because it's an important distinction considering we're talking about death and consciousness.

I was blessed to WIN a half hour reading from John in 2014 just 30 days after my mom passed. He knew every small detail leading up to my moms passing & her funeral. He knew about the ants in her hospital room! He knew the name brand of the cheap makeup I put in her 'travel bag' that I buried her with! My mom did not believe in death either, she watched Crossing Over years back. Some years ago now, I experienced a lovely dream of a cocker spaniel puppy running and playing in a lush green lawn next to a sparkling river. It was vivid and memorable and happy. That day my ex called to tell me that his cocker spaniel, Jasmine, had crossed the Rainbow Bridge a few days prior to my dream. I know I've relayed this experience before, but I just had a WOW moment watching John Edward on a youtube video where he was interviewed in an intimate gathering. He ended the talk by telling the account of a dream he had where he was walking down a trail in a forest, and a golden retriever puppy came running down the trail to him in that beautiful place. In the dream, he 'knew' the puppy was his retired assistant's dog, Sonny. He called her to tell her about the dream, and she told him Sonny had passed away a few days prior. John Edward videos began popping up randomly in my youtube offerings recently. I had never heard John talk about his dream before tonight. There is a lot about this I love: knowing our furbabies immediately become puppies and kittens again in Spirit is really awesome! Knowing me and John Edward had extraordinarily similar visits from dogs we knew when they were here on Earth is amazing! When I was a teen, I was sitting with a guy at work talking with nothing and no one around. When I smelled a baby. I said why do I smell a baby. He looked very shocked... He freaked out. He said his girl friend was pregnant. Sometime I know things or say things that mean something to the person around me.

When John talks about patterns our loved ones who have passed will show us to let us know they're ok reminds me of when my dad passed. We had gone to say goodbye to him and on the way home, we dropped a family member off at a hotel, it was close to Christmas so there were those strings of lights in the trees, ok, that's normal right, one particular trees lights were blinking rapidly (the others were not blinking), i happened to look over and pointed it out to my mom just because it was beautiful, im not even sure why I pointed it out. She told me the story about when my parents were dating and one night there was a spectacular view of the night sky with an unusual amount of falling stars, I had never heard this story before, she said the lighs reminded her of that date. Immediately i knew this was his way of letting her know he made it, that he was ok. After we got back to her house he kept showing us that he was there. I love it more because in life he was a staunch atheist. Everyone in the family would call me a liar and to stop making up stories about ghosts when I would tell them certain things and that I see feel hear them until that event, now suddenly I'm not a liar and they believe

Great to see this again after 1 year! Man, is John spot on! I remember many times when I went to call a certain friend & I would just pick up the old long wireless phone & she’d be on the other end before I even dialed her phone number & Vice-versa! The timing was so precise, that the phone never even rang! AND...once, her feelings of anger were transferred to me one morning & I was wonder why I felt like I wanted to punch high school lockers...🤷🏻♀️...which I had never done! {Since I knew that E wasn’t mine, as I was in a great mood right before that, I could just release it, which I can sometimes still do for others.}. How I found out those were her feelings is that we had talked later in the day about it & she had confessed she had felt that way but couldn’t handle the anger! Phenomenal stuff!

My brother passed away in September of last year and instantly I was able to connect with him (through hearing in my left ear) which is something I didn’t know I was able to do until he passed. Well one day a few months ago I was speaking to him and I told him “you sound like your far away and it’s hard for me to hear you...it sounds like static” and he said “because I’m moving on, I’m evolving” so it’s very significant to me when John said our human physically ability dissipate 😱
@@TIMAFEY2 the reference wasn't to the physical body, but rather the "physicality." In this context it's referring more to their connection to the physical world even though their spirit is no longer in the physical form. Family, objects, places etc can keep the deceased connected to our plane. Typically by reaching out - comforting feelings, smells, dream visits etc. But when those physical connections are gone they aren't necessarily connected to the physical plane anymore. But that doesn't mean they don't exist or that there's no afterlife for them anymore. They just exist on another level. But as this poster pointed out, they can detach themselves from the physical plane Before those physical changes happen. Either reincarnating, moving on to another level of existence, or endless other possibilities.
I liked how the interviewer asked some of the questions that skeptics would ask. But he did so in a very respectful manner - like he actually wanted to know the answer, Not pick a fight like so many skeptics.

He said my mom was very strong as well...She would cause lights to come on all the time and I knew it was her..She hugged me one time as I was asleep.I thought I was dreaming I could feel her her touch everything and as soon as she was done I woke up..Its like she was over me then hugged me I was asleep but really awake like I couldn't open my eyes until she left..It was wild..I cried cause I felt her.She leaves dimes everywhere..I find them all over my house and I know its my mom ..She always had a joke about ten cents..No matter what job she needed help with or wanted you to do she would go ill pay you ten cents..She done that to me my kids her grandkids and we would all laugh..I know that's signs from my mother..This is true and I don't care who doesn't believe me ..Im not crazy I wasn't drunk or on drugs or half asleep..I would never make something like this up especially about my mother who has passed..I was sitting in my living room all alone.It was about 10 in the morning.I had my laptop in my hand and the tv on.I wasn really even paying attention to the tv I was more having it on for noise I was more into the computer.I wasn't even thinking of my mom at the time just reading what I was looking at on my pc....All of a sudden and I mean loud and very very clear I heard my mothers voice say my name..Angela!! I just looked up freaking a little going omg did I just hear my mom through my tv? I knew what I heard but I kept thinking I was just hearing things I couldn't believe what I had just heard so I convince myself I was crazy..So I put my head down again and start to read and all of a sudden and I mean even louder through the tv I hear my mother say...Angie!!! She only called me angie when she wanted my attention.They way she said it was like when someone doesn't pay attention to you when your calling them and you know they heard you but they just ignore you..Like that..Then I jumped up..I knew I wasn't crazy I couldn't say I was hearing things now..I really heard my mother calling for me ..I actually got so scared I ran out into my porch calling my dad.I was just bawling crying because it scared me..I wish now I never done that..I always beg my mom to come back and til this day I have never heard her call me again..I know we go on we don't just die..My mom proved that to me..I know many may not believe me ..But why in the world would I lie about this?? Interesting thing 're Terry Pratchett, he did not believe in mediums and the afterlife etc. But while he was ill and he knew he was going to die from it, he was in the garden one day and he heard his father talking to him. And although he didn't really believe in it, he still felt comforted and it did give him some peace, because his father was letting him know that he'd be ok. It's interesting because it was out of nowhere. Terry was certainly not a believer.

Let me explain, .. reading someone impromptu like that in a crowd of people under a bit of a pressure is not ideal from the get go. But being a medium doesn't mean you just get clear easy to read messages come through every time. No no no. Sometimes it can not go well at all for all sorts of reasons. The messages come through as feelings , fuzzy images , sounds that he has to then translate in his head in real time . If there's a weak spirit through he might struggle to comprehend the message. All sorts can make it go a bit wrong. It's not so easy. Just because this reading didn't go so great, doesn't mean the last readings he did in private with someone didn't go amazingly. The problem with people is they judge psychics who are famous amd have a TV show , in a way that they wouldn't judge a medium they went to see in private about an issue they wee having . I had my Grandmother die in my arms in a dream 6 months before she died. She also came to me in a dream after she had been gone for 2 years to meet my son after he was born. It was so comforting to have her come to meet my son, she would come anytime I did anything in the nursery. I would smell her scent.

John Edwards has done a reading for me on periscope. I didn't even know it was going to happen and he didn't either..Everything he told me was correct and in no way would he had known any of it..He told specific things ..He told me two things that he said I wouldn't remember at that moment but I would..It drove me crazy for a week I kept thinking what was he talking about..WEll, what it was..is he told me that me and mom had these joes about a certain set of salt and pepper shakers..I was like what?? I knew she collected some but I didn't even have a clue what he was talking about ..I kept thinking we didn't do that..He goes oh you will remember what I'm saying and it will hit you..So all week I'm like naa he was wrong on that one..Its what he said my mom wanted him to tell me to prove he was really talking to her. He says he can't help what they tell him he just repeats it..Anyways everything else he had said was 100% correct..Like I said I was like nope that isn't right about the shakers..So a week and a half goes by and I was sitting outside at my picnic table not even thinking about him my mom anything to do with my reading and all of a sudden I remember these certain salt and pepper shakers my mom had on her stove. As I was listening to him he said he was going to try to connect to someone if he could and it happened to be my mother. I was at her house that day before this happened. I remember looking through her window on the back porch where you could see in the living room and I remember saying mom I wish you could talk to me. I never knew I was even getting on that site that day or he was going to be on their doing a live show. Just weird how things happen. I Wish I Knew a better answer for you. John looks great. And he still exudes the same enthusiastic intellectual energy from watching him years ago. I get the impression that he’s an honest, practical guy. Also think he’s just as good at being detached (from others’ energies and emotions) as he is at doing readings. Perhaps he's had to practice this detachment over the years so he can compartmentalize his focus.

I have this annoying problem that I can't be read or when I am read I act as a conduit for other people I know or are close to me. I have a developed psychic side, with intuition, energy reader, and medium. I help others quite often, but am useless for myself. So when I seek guidance I am usually disappointed. For example, after many frustrated years I went to a psychic for a future reading. And she was amazing. She was like I was going to meet a man in the Navy and we would have a child together and travel the world and that most of my friends would drop off and that his friends and family would become the greatest part of my life. Most of all, this man would change my life completely and I would never be the same. So I was thinking wow this was so specific she had to be right. And she was ... only that she read my sister's life. I was living in Connecticut and my sister was living in California. Those things hadn't happened to her yet, but within a year these things began to manifest for her. And everything the psychic said came to pass for my sister. And yet somehow she read her future through me. As for me? Nothing. She couldn't read me. And that quality has always been with me. I wish I understood why I am not allowed to know my future or get some clues. I eventually just stopped trying to get readings because a psychic would be saying things and I would be like nope that's my mom or nope that's for my best friend. I love the part about profound dreams being a way a deceased loved one can visit .... my mom died 10 years ago and I will never forget the dreams I had for several months after her death. There were so many but one common theme was I would tell her in my dream. "I knew you weren't dead. They tried to tell me to move on but you're real you're here with me! I would touch her (on the arm usually) and it felt as real as touching someone in real life." I think the dreams stopped bc it hurt so much to wake up and feel the gut punching reality that she wasn't here that it was just a dream. I realize now after so many years that it was a beautiful moment of a visit from my mom. I had to go thru a lot of healing and even a whole drug addiction (heroin/meth/anything to feel better) I numbed myself for years then finally got clean right before having my 2nd son. I've been clean 5 years. I know my mom would be so proud!

I was blessed to WIN a half hour reading from John in 2014 just 30 days after my mom passed. He knew every small detail leading up to my moms passing & her funeral. Some years ago now, I experienced a lovely dream of a cocker spaniel puppy running and playing in a lush green lawn next to a sparkling river. It was vivid and memorable and happy. That day my ex called to tell me that his cocker spaniel, Jasmine, had crossed the Rainbow Bridge a few days prior to my dream. I know I've relayed this experience before, but I just had a WOW moment watching John Edward on a youtube video where he was interviewed in an intimate gathering. He ended the talk by telling the account of a dream he had where he was walking down a trail in a forest, and a golden retriever puppy came running down the trail to him in that beautiful place. In the dream, he 'knew' the puppy was his retired assistant's dog, Sonny. He called her to tell her about the dream, and she told him Sonny had passed away a few days prior. There is a lot about this I love: knowing our furbabies immediately become puppies and kittens again in Spirit is really awesome! I was first introduced to John during his Crossing Over TV shows. I have read all of his books and it just all makes sense to me. When I was young, before I knew better, I was sure I could do things that don't fit the laws of reality. That was years before I ever heard of John Edward. I believe everything he talks about and the more I listen, the more I believe. I would love to have a reading. Besides his communication with the dead, he is just such an honorable, honest person. He gives me total piece of mind.

When John talks about patterns our loved ones who have passed will show us to let us know they're ok reminds me of when my dad passed. We had gone to say goodbye to him and on the way home, we dropped a family member off at a hotel, it was close to Christmas so there were those strings of lights in the trees, ok, that's normal right, one particular trees lights were blinking rapidly (the others were not blinking), i happened to look over and pointed it out to my mom just because it was beautiful, im not even sure why I pointed it out. My brother passed away in September of last year and instantly I was able to connect with him (through hearing in my left ear) which is something I didn’t know I was able to do until he passed. In this context it's referring more to their connection to the physical world even though their spirit is no longer in the physical form. Family, objects, places etc can keep the deceased connected to our plane. Typically by reaching out - comforting feelings, smells, dream visits etc. But when those physical connections are gone they aren't necessarily connected to the physical plane anymore. But that doesn't mean they don't exist or that there's no afterlife for them anymore. They just exist on another level. But as this poster pointed out, they can detach themselves from the physical plane Before those physical changes happen. Either reincarnating, moving on to another level of existence, or endless other possibilities.

Interesting thing 're Terry Pratchett, he did not believe in mediums and the afterlife etc. But while he was ill and he knew he was going to die from it, he was in the garden one day and he heard his father talking to him. And although he didn't really believe in it, he still felt comforted and it did give him some peace, because his father was letting him know that he'd be ok.

I had my Grandmother die in my arms in a dream 6 months before she died. She also came to me in a dream after she had been gone for 2 years to meet my son after he was born. John Edwards has done a reading for me on periscope. I didn't even know it was going to happen and he didn't either..Everything he told me was correct and in no way would he had known any of it..He told specific things ..He told me two things that he said I wouldn't remember at that moment but I would..It drove me crazy for a week I kept thinking what was he talking about..WEll, what it was..is he told me that me and mom had these joes about a certain set of salt and pepper shakers..I was like what?? I knew she collected some but I didn't even have a clue what he was talking about ..I kept thinking we didn't do that..He goes oh you will remember what I'm saying and it will hit you..So all week I'm like naa he was wrong on that one..Its what he said my mom wanted him to tell me to prove he was really talking to her. He says he can't help what they tell him he just repeats it..Anyways everything else he had said was 100% correct..Like I said I was like nope that isn't right about the shakers..So a week and a half goes by and I was sitting outside at my picnic table not even thinking about him my mom anything to do with my reading and all of a sudden I remember these certain salt and pepper shakers my mom had on her stove. They were antiques and weird looking.I would make fun of them every time I came to her house and we would die laughing about how they looked..I was like omg how could I have forgotten that and he was right we did do that and many times..I was like omg he is real..For those who don't believe I know its hard to ..You do have a lot out there that lie and claim they are real..I promise this guy is the real deal!!

@@aquariuslyfe2515 I just happened to get on periscope and he was doing a live show . I got to be one of the first 50 people where you could at least send messages. As I was listening to him he said he was going to try to connect to someone if he could and it happened to be my mother. I was at her house that day before this happened. I remember looking through her window on the back porch where you could see in the living room and I remember saying mom I wish you could talk to me. I never knew I was even getting on that site that day or he was going to be on their doing a live show. Just weird how things happen. I Wish I Knew a better answer for you. Maybe look him up on the internet to see if he has an address or way you can get a reading.

Amazing show. John is truly amazing at what he does and I get the feeling that he is also a really nice guy.But! Not judging in anyway and I get it for real but after checking the website for John was soo shocked to see how much he charges for a reading.

John looks great. And he still exudes the same enthusiastic intellectual energy from watching him years ago. I get the impression that he’s an honest, practical guy. Also think he’s just as good at being detached (from others’ energies and emotions) as he is at doing readings. Perhaps he's had to practice this detachment over the years so he can compartmentalize his focus.

John u hear and tslk to the otherside.We have a cane corso that sees them and tells us when they are around. She is one and hslf years old.She does this on a daily basis. When its someone that hasn't been around before, she gives a very deep growl,then barks at them.Ones that are around the most she just watches them.We just tell her that its ok and they won't hurt her.Then she ok,no barking. She doesn't do it at night very often. Usually through the day time hours.

I have this annoying problem that I can't be read or when I am read I act as a conduit for other people I know or are close to me. I have a developed psychic side, with intuition, energy reader, and medium. I help others quite often, but am useless for myself. So when I seek guidance I am usually disappointed. For example, after many frustrated years I went to a psychic for a future reading. And she was amazing. She was like I was going to meet a man in the Navy and we would have a child together and travel the world and that most of my friends would drop off and that his friends and family would become the greatest part of my life. Most of all, this man would change my life completely and I would never be the same. So I was thinking wow this was so specific she had to be right. And she was ... only that she read my sister's life. I was living in Connecticut and my sister was living in California. Those things hadn't happened to her yet, but within a year these things began to manifest for her. And everything the psychic said came to pass for my sister. And yet somehow she read her future through me. As for me? Nothing. She couldn't read me. And that quality has always been with me. I wish I understood why I am not allowed to know my future or get some clues. I eventually just stopped trying to get readings because a psychic would be saying things and I would be like nope that's my mom or nope that's for my best friend. And I would know because the information matched them. For example, the psychic would say oh you love puzzles don't you. And I would say no that's my mom. She does puzzles every night before bed. And oh, you've been married twice. Nope, that's my mom; twice divorced. It's so depressing.
