Nicely done Charlie, another one rescued and for not much money. Definitely try it at the higher price bracket then reduce as time goes. They pounce on reduced prices,as they think they're getting a bargain. Keep smiling & hope you are well.
Glad to see you're back on it with the bikes Charlie. This latest one is a peach!! You should get the asking price with ease if you ask me. Keep safe pal, cheers.
Hello charlie.i love watching your videos.being 66 and been a biker for nearly 50 years I am always learning.just a quick question I remember oiling my Honda's 125 with duckhams chain grease with camping stove basically cooking the chain don't now if modern sealed chains would be safe to use that method.what did you use to remove the old grease on the chains soap/ wd40? making it all shiny. I like to pass on what I learnt to my son the next generation who's knows nothing.many thanks keep up the good work I am waiting for the next video Peter
Hi Peter, modern sealed chains can still be cleaned with harsh chemicals. I use fuel if i have any spare, I use wd40 regularly for the cleaning part and then wax or oil appropriately. I still use oil if I have no wax or can grease. The old ways haven't died on this occasion Peter. I hope your well Charlie
@motorcyclerescuer hi Charlie thanks for your reply.am I right is WD 40 just as good as chain grease but a lot cheaper just wipe the surplus off? Peter
@peter1957100 yeh definitely. There has always been a saying that wd isn't good for chains. That's rubbish. They are great for cleaning chains and then you oil it after

Can you heat up the pedal lever with blow torch and bend it down
It may leave a heat burn ie discolour the metal & potentially put buyers off.
Yeh as Daniel said, but also it's just normal for this bike, because of the longer foot boards. So it's all good.
Cheers guys
Hey I'm 1st 😊😊😊😊😊
Well done Georgie
