As always, enjoy watching your informative channel. Keep up the good work. This segment on the amp annealer is very informative and you gave us some inside news about the customer support you received with company. Thank you.
I just purchased one it is the newer model and the price has gone up some (what has not) Enjoyed your video, loved the customer service part makes me feel a little better about spending 1500$ yesterday! Thank You.
Thanks for your very informative videos, you helped me to decide to upgrade to this fantastic product. Quite simply, it took me less time to unbox & set up the AMP annealer for its first use, then it has ever taken me to reset & adjust my gas torch style annealer (using Templac) . With the old style gas one, I would wait until I had approximately 400 cases to do as a batch, because of the finicky setup & adjustment time. Now I anneal as soon as I have a emptied a 50 case box. IMO if you are serious about competition shooting & or have multiple calibers to anneal you can’t afford not to use this system.
Looking forward to seeing your results ... Been wanting to get one but it is pricey. Thanks for all your vids. I like your style and your character - very real and practical.
Bolt Action Reloading - I am a bit of a reloading geek . I like the technology, I also have a Labrador on my list of things to buy ... Reloading saves money right ... At least thats what my wife thinks 😀
As a suggestion, it would be interesting to take several pieces of brass from the same batch/lot of brass and run the analysis. I'm curious to see if the code generated is the same for the same lot of brass. Thanks for the fine work you do with your videos, I enjoy them very much.
I have the machine and software too. After you run your test, if you're your still curious, I'd be happy to run a with a piece of your brass on my end.
I have been trying to decide a reasonable test. I have seem AMP doing little videos here and there, I still like the annealer but quantifying all of the benefits is pretty difficult.
I'd sure like to see what's inside, BOLTR style, to see what you are getting for your $1100 plus shipping. What is the weight of the AMP unit? I think you should have been given you the Aztec upgrade for free, since you are advertising for them. It's not easy (and usually not inexpensive) to precisely target 4000 niche market potential buyers.

It is on my list of things to do when I dive deeper into it. I really would like to see on multiple machines if the code generated is the same too.
I have the machine and software too. After you run your test, if you're your still curious, I'd be happy to run a with a piece of your brass on my end.
I also have the same machine and Aztec mode too. Also willing to do some tests for you if you like.
Each piece of brass will be a little different. Not a great test.
I did try that with 2 pieces of brass and got the same code.
But that is a standard USB port, the cable you are using is a USB-A to USB-B, as you pointed out it is still used as a normal USB printer type cable.
Do wonder if you sacrifice a case that there is already a program available, to see if the on-line resource and your actual result is the same.
Any more updates?
Thanks!
