Having the kongs go to the himalayas or whever this is, is simply a beautiful and natural progression of dkc level theming! Awesome display! Good show!
It might’ve been an error in google translation tho, as the creator of the vid is Portuguese and the other videos allude that it was only the third demo’s release that was cancelled, but maybe im wrong so idk As cold cliffs description says “this level is just an excerpt of a level that wont be in the final release” which makes me feel it might not be cancelled??
This is like a Machu Pichu level. Would love a leven inspired by that place, with 'Aguila Sideral', from Los Jaivas as the soundtrack. I should get some time and learn how to edit levels
The music is way too busy and loud. It appears you can get stuck in a few places and the spots where you can blast through the floor should be semisolid instead of holes. Overall it looks like a nice level but it could use these improvements.
Ohhh, phew, thought the game was cancelled! I was starting to go sad! Fortunatelly the game is still being developed. This level looked really good thou, hope they decided to release this level too, as a standalone level like they did with the Marathon levels and others@@Rangelukaz
@@alexaldayLC Really. Hearing the game was cancelled, I thought it was possibly because Nintendo sent their cease-and-desist ninjas after the team, or the team decided to do so to avoid Nintendo's legal wrath.
Interesting idea, but i think we all know that if DKC 4 was ever made, it wouldn't be in this style. Every game in the trilogy had new themes and a fresh style. Developers wouldn't steal ideas from all 3 previous games, they would make 4 fresh too.
But it's not really for SNES or even sticking within its specs properly, so it doesn't really mean much to me. I'd have been very happy to see this for SNES, but as a PC game, there's plenty of other stuff I'd much rather play.

great job! feels like a legitimate level made by Rare themselves!
No, even better then that! 😍
Wow. Great job whoever did this, the look, the music even the barrels cycling through the different kongs
I'm so sad it was canceled, the music and quality was just incredible.
is there official confirmation anywhere that it was cancelled?

Yeah I've had to resort to just playing fan romhacks & creating my own kaizo romhacks of DKC1 & 2, since Nintendo/Rare doesn't make them anymore.
Boy, what a brilliant way to combine the temple, kastle, kore, and mountain levels!
holy crap that is some good spritework
Caprichou demais mano... eu me lembro desse conceito uns tempos atrás.
Valeu mesmo Edu 🤜🤛. Tmj parceiro
I think the music fits really well!
Oooh I'm getting them vibes.
I think in another reality this game exist and it was made by rare in 2004 on the GBA advance

DS*. They were planning to realease DKC4 if the GBA ports were succesful but they weren't succesful enough
i loved DKC and i loved the GBA as well. would never play DKC on GBA cos the sound quality was too bad. and the sound is the best part of DKC
0:53 Macchu Picchu is the real Tallest Temple. In this stage, we using a Lhama or a Parrot. 😃😃😃🇵🇪🇵🇪🐣🐣🐐🐐
I really want to play this. I beaten DKC2 & 3 a few times and this mixes them both
Absolutely genius!! I wanna play it 😅
Que nível mais bonito!
It was wonderful ❗❗
It's terrible that it was cancelled. I don't know why it was cancelled. -_-
The project ended up taking other directions after a while...
Oh man... Someone should pick up this project!
So the project is just dead now?

muy creativo
I , m love music ❤
Super cool level! Anyone know the team behind this? (How many of them? What is their rough timeline/plan? etc.)
Hey, in the description I left the credits of some team members, the level at which it was made by me.
@@Rangelukaz Thank you. Very cool!
This looks like kung fu panda to me🐼.
lindo :')

wait the game was been canceled or the level?
Just the level, because the theme was not compatible with the final version and history.
@@Rangelukaz Ohh, ok just a question cause i I've been following the game for a while, but its a cool level design :)
Damn, this looks amazing. Why was the game cancelled?
the game itself was not, what is discarded would only be this level that was initially used for testing
@@Rangelukaz I'm really glad to hear that. Is there any way to follow the development of the game?
So how can we play this!?
Unfortunately this level is not available as it was never finished.

The enemies simply don't fit with the theme.

I mean this level. The DKC4 project has not been cancelled, so I'm showing some things that were scrapped.

Because his theme didn't fit well with the game's final idea.
