How to make Bladeless Fan at home - DIY USB Homemade Dyson Fan Air Multiplier

Learn how to make a very simple USB bladeless fan at home, also known as “Dyson Fan” using a DC motor from a scrap cd player and waste Formica sheet. You can easily make a bladeless fan at home. The most fascinating feature about this device is that it doesn’t have any visible propellers but gives wonderful and uniform air flow. This type of fan sometimes called as an air multiplier.
It has small blades hidden in its base. It also known as Dyson fan. The air is drawn in by a fan in the base and then directed up into a ring. It comes out of a gap around the ring and passes over, during that time it also pull the air and thus does air multiplication.

Those holes are for air suction. Its all closed from all sides, the fan sucks air from backside holes & throws inside to the hollow.

3:25 you should either cut the wires at different lengths or put tape on the exposed wire that you cut, the could short and start a fire. besides that great project.

you could use a laptop cooling fan, they pull air through the exposed side and blow it out the side, so you could orient it inside the box properly and it would work, except you will need to cut holes for air flow

If there is an exhaust, there must be intake where the air comes from. You must keep a large hole or many small holes & try to cover with a mesh and make a separate hole for wire connection (Don't do like I did.). Thanks.

Yes entire body is made of plywood. I took a bottle cap & inserted a dc motor removed from cd player. Then I stick some small pieces from plastic sheet. Also stick 2 very small pcs of popsical stick underneath the dc motor so that air can pass inside the motor because there are some holes and I didn't close them.
