*This fan is everything I wanted in a desk fan and more. It looks great for **Fastly.Cool** my room , it puts out a wonderful amount of air. Is very easy to use.I just keep it plugged in.*
This is the most straightforward video I have seen yet. The ones with millions of views aren't nearly as accurate as this one, great job you did here!

Thank you 😀
Wow it's really silent i love the way you explain the steps good job keep it up

Thank you very much tony
fantastic idea using the quiet pc fan. best "bladeless fan" DIY on the internet.
+ShockHolliday
Thank you
nice project....my main issue is how cool it can keep you. Small fan can only do so much....nice and neat execution...and very light i persume. I would a a shelf underneath and put something cold like a block of ice so that the air that is sucked in comes out even colder.
The idea is that even tho the fan is small there is a multiplier effect on the air that it sends towards you. The air being pushed by the small fan creates a low-pressure area behind the cylinder that causes even more air to go through. So it should be enough. But I suppose you can always use a bigger faster fan if you want more air.
I don't, generally, use a fan for cooling. To me, air circulation is the main thing.
Nice demonstration and instruction. Easily constructed with fully workable fan is the result. Thank you.
+Joe Vila
Thank you
fixitsamo really super demonstration
that is pretty kickass my daughter is going to love this fan when i make it she's at Oakland university college those dorm rooms are ovens
+Steve Obee thank you the best think of this idea it the pc fan its so silent you can barely hear it
Get a air conditioner in her room if she is in dorm. If she is in apartment fan should do to save power.
i like the way your mind works
That's a great job! ...I'm curious to what you used to make it oscillate?
that's nice DYI video. how you made it to turn from left to right and left again? that you didn't show in the video.
Great you make it sound so easy. Thanks
That was Awesome but how did you put the fan on motion
You are genius..Thnks alot for sharing this vedio.. Thumbs up 😊👍

to all the complaining about calling it badeless fan, let's call it hidden blade fan.. wait...Ezio?
Very resourceful and impressive! Well-done!

Amazing content! I'll be ordering parts and material to build a clear vinyl fan. Once I get the material/tool I'll try and make a video of how it went.

nice idea but wat u do the rotation around left to right
Great job. Cool idea!
the engine is rpg27b 6 cables, white, black, red and three coming together that I guess are the three speeds.
Thanks for making an easy to follow video going to make my own out of aluminum.
_those who think he lied about "bladeless" read below._ *A bladeless fan (sometimes called an air multiplier) blows air from a ring with no external blades. Its blades are hidden in its base.*
I don't think anyone was really dumb enough to think that you can make a fan without blades
+Ash Scott Oops I did thought it was without blades
manu thomas ahem, think old school, A PEAICE OF PAPER IS BLADE LESS. Duhhh, it's a fan if u fold it like one
Check out the exhale fan. It uses vibrations to generate wind
u totally deserve more subs than wt u got u r simply brilliant

How do you come up with this stuff is sooo creative
3:37 You do realize you're not making 6 inch circles. The compass is set to 6 inches for a 6 inch radius, but the circle you create is 12 inches (1 foot) in diameter.
very nice and interesting and kindly notify that what are the companantes are using in blade less fan
Que maravilla de proyecto, te felicito bro,
Gracias.
hello friend, very good your input, I have an idea, nose to what extent can help me, the idea is this: I have a small motor console splip which kiero use to make a fan on a larger scale, the problem is that 220v motor is not like making the connections, any input can be of great help me, I'm from Venezuela, thanks.
you are a smart man.
+John Petzold
Thank you
That is a wrong design. The inner surface should be cone - it provides the Coanda effect with sucking times more air, and the slot should be deeper - at the very beggining.
how did he make the borders of the base so THICK?!
can you tell me how you make it move to left and right because you did't say how you do that .
The whole planet calls it "hot glue".
Nice build none the less.
So what? Who gives a toss? Can you speak his language as well as he speaks English.
is there any DIY website from where I can get all this things that you have used
any way video is good
Wait, where did you get that exact fan, and what is the power input and output of the fan?
+Dolphinasd Gaming
Its a standard pc case fan input 12 V
Motor speed up to 2000 RPM
fixitsamo thanks.
fixitsamo Does it also work on a USB connection of about 1 amp?
+Dolphinasd Gaming
It all depends on your fan
Excellent video. Got my project for tomorrow right here. Thanks :-D

Thank you
Just remember they name it the "air multiplayer" because "blade-less fan" is a lie, it has blades, on the fan inside lol
This is much more silent than Dyson's and it is 300 $ less :D

To explain the steps
How is it bladeless, if you have a PC fan with BLADES in it?
It’s because the blades are not exposed just like the Dyson fan.
which type of sheet are you using to make this?
What is the name of the plastic sheets that you are using?
There is a blade. It should be called.Hidden blade fan.
Omg I says the exact same thing. 🤣
Wow you're so cool

I didn't understand that from where the air comes from because you do not have make the any hole in upper side of the PC fan and one more Question. and from where I get the PC fan
The air circulates comes from the bottom off the base where i made the 4 cuts trough the pc fan and it will come out between the inner and outer circle
You can purchase the pc fan online or go to any pc repair shop they are not hard to find
The air comes from underneath. Notice the base doesn't sit flat on the table.... there are those rectangular gaps or holes, so the 'bladed' fan can suck or draw air from underneath, which forces the air up to the circular opening. The system isn't really bladeless as such ..... it's really a 'hidden or concealed blade fan'.
que material es el blanco?

where did you get the plastic sheets?
+LeadFarmer4Life
The craft board from the dollar store
And the plastic sheets from a printing store
I had it from a older project
I like how many people try to explain how outdated this concept is with the Coanda effect and all the Dyson bullshit
I used this as a fucking project in college and I'm sure this is exactly what was intended for in the first place
If you want a bladeless fan, just fucking buy one if a normal fan isn't good enough for you. They aren't that expensive so you would need to diy
bruh. What if you just wanted to have fun and make something. Shame on you ne.
Is it a PVC sheet?

Thank you its a craft board sheet from the dollar store
I think u shud go for motorless fan😉bcz it's invention of dyson
Great! :D
No it's a wrong design basically blameless fan has an airfoil type design which is completely missing in your design........... more over just check bro does air is flowing from center or not
where did you connect the adaptor? to the outlet??

🔴 What Is Islam? ⚠️
🔴 Islam is not just another religion.
🔵 It is the same message preached by Moses, Jesus and Abraham.
🔴 Islam literally means ‘submission to God’ and it teaches us to have a direct relationship with God.
🔵 It reminds us that since God created us, no one should be worshipped except God alone.
🔴 It also teaches that God is nothing like a human being or like anything that we can imagine.
🌍 The concept of God is summarized in the Quran as:
📖 { “Say, He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He does not give birth, nor was He born, and there is nothing like Him.”} (Quran 112:1-4)[4] 📚
🔴 Becoming a Muslim is not turning your back to Jesus.
🔵 Rather it’s going back to the original teachings of Jesus and obeying him.

should put a strip of leds in the fan.

This is primitive and does not amplify airflow using Coanda effect at all!
Do you have a link to help the novice understand the 'Coanda effect?'

@@danieltomberlin1112 in such cases I do recommend him: GO BACK TO ROW 1 (school)! There is no link to cure the lack of the concepts.
How is it bladeless if it has blades?
with "bladeless fan" is meant, that there are no fans visible.
Then it should say "hidden fan" but instead you use the title as click bait. Very interesting project but you should have just tole the truth in the title.
dyson calls them bladeless fans, I guess they're using that as click bait as well then
Why so pedantic?
Dyson fans work by a ionic breese. Not hidden fans.
This design is inefficient and misses the whole 'multiplier effect' of a bladeless propulsor.
You should be able to reproduce the geometry quite easily and get a flow 5-10x more powerful than this.
Hi are you on lindin
are you using card board
+Deepika Laxmi
I used plastic for the video but you could a cereal box cardboard
@@fixitsamo what kind of plastic did you use?
Its a very flexible plastic i got it from a printing shop they usually use it to make signs i don’t know the name unfortunately
This is redirected air flow as opposed to an air multiplier.
@420 Friendly hahaha! Man it makes air warp out of space. Dude.
Am I missing something?? There's a bladed fan!!!!!!!!
Should be called how to make a bladed fan unit APPEAR to be bladeless
A "bladeless fan" is just a generic name for Dyson's "Air Multiplier" trademark. That's what people started calling them because it appeared that there were no blades on the fan, when in reality, the blades of the fan are inside the base. It's not simply a matter of hiding the fan blades inside the base to make it appear to be bladeless. There is a scientific principle involved called the Coanda effect that actually multiplies the amount of air flow produced by the fan blades by around 15x. However, with that being said, this design in the video wouldn't actually produce much of the Coanda effect as the inner circle is simply flat.
If you're interested in it, James Dyson explained how it works it in this video when they first launched it:
ua-cam.com/video/8he8afjQyd8/v-deo.html
turn left and right, why didn't you tell me about the mechanism?
It's called, "his hand".
hahaha you didn't his right hand?
Why my fan making noise ?
it'd be cool to make this with copper sheets and solder it together... then add a 200 cfm fan in the design with a potentiometer to control the speed.
ua-cam.com/video/UY-CZ-BVGmA/v-deo.html
And swivel.
👍🙌👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏😆

If this truly multiplies the air, you should show the air being sucked through the hole, not just the air that is being pushed through the round slot as shown in the video. Nice project build, but poor demonstration.
that's a male adapter...
Bladeless WTF !?
this is not a bladeless fan.
this is a fan of which you cannot see the blade.
but the idea is nice
I've been debating this "blade-less" fan nonsense for a while now, and it seems there are still people who think it's OK to call a fan blade-less. My argument has been, and still is, that you cannot call it a "blade-less fan" because a fan has "blades." That is the way a fan works - it has angled blades that force the air forward or in reverse. Now, these so-called "blade-less" fans just just re-configured chassis, with the "fan" forcing the air through a different path. It does not work without a "fan" and that is the reason you cannot call it "blade-less." In fact, the word "blade-less" is not even a word. The only reason it's found anywhere is because Toshiba created the concept in 1981 and then Dyson patented the thing and called it an "Air Multiplier." I'd much rather people called it that, instead of "blade-less" fan, as this would at least make more sense.
My argument has always been on the term, "blade-less." So here is another angle that most people are not taking into consideration. When you add the suffix "less" to a noun, you get an adjective that describes the root word. For example, "Sleep" + "less" = "Sleepless" and the meaning is "having no sleep." Same with many other examples such as endless, restless, flavorless, weightless, shameless, priceless, motionless, heartless, and harmless. There are probably thousands of examples. So if "blade-less" were an actual word, it would mean "having no blades." And since these devices all use a fan to push the air, and fans cannot work without "blades" then it cannot be called "blade-less."
Again, just because the fan is hidden, we cannot say it doesn't have a fan. Therefore, we cannot say it doesn't have blades. And therefore, we cannot call it bladeless, which isn't even a word. I'm done, I've made my point. I'll shut up now so the crybabies will stop complaining.
Nobody cares
Some people are just small minded! If he is so bent on the terminology, he should go and sue Dyson for false advertising.
Killed by the ads bye bye

canada uses metric, why bother with imperial measurements? for more recognition and clicks from the US?
It’s a copy of a Dyson bladeless fan and actually quite well done except hid model does not swivel but shows it doing so, witch is baloney. Lose the fake swiveling or show us how we can do that too.
Third video today, from crazy mental people trying to say they are making "BLADE-LESS" fans - but you are lying! At 0:16 you clearly show the parts you use and what is sitting there on the table? You guessed it, a FAN with 11 BLADES. You really need to see a doctor.
I'm a dumb ass? You don't even know the definition of "blade-less" - blade-less does not mean not seeing the blades, it means having no blades. If I am pant-less, does it mean I have pants on but you cannot see them? No, it means I have no pants on. How about shirtless? Shoe-less? You, as well as all the other morons that are supporting this idea of blade-less fans are the dumb asses.
@Mark Kissner: Google shows exactly what I expected - fans that claim to be "bladeless" but are not. There is a fan with blades inside. Again, just because the fan blades are inside the chassis out of sight does not mean it has no fan blades. There is no such thing as a bladeless fan. You're a dumb ass, just like all the others.
@Mark Kissner: Think about what you just said. First you admit it's a fan. That, in itself, negates any argument you might have that it's blade-less, since fans are called fans due their "fan blades." So you can't call it a fan unless you admit it has fan blades, therefore calling it a blade-less fan is not only contradictory but also redundant. Then you try to justify your reasoning with a definition you call an "exceltable term." Do you know what you get when you google that, Mark? But, I digress. You cannot call this or any such device a blade-less fan. The correct term is "fan."
@Mark Kissner: There you go. You know, Mark, it's much more fun on this side of the internet than on your side. At least I get to learn something when I'm corrected and educated and shown how I might be mistaken when I need to be corrected. That part of life is always fun. The reason I called you a dumb ass is because you have no clue how to have a debate, and your mind is closed to learning or being corrected. Your ego won't allow it. You are right, everyone else is wrong. And you refuse to see anything that doesn't correspond to your way of seeing the world. What a shame. If your feelings were hurt, and you feel the need to lash out, you might be a crybaby liberal dumb ass.
The 11-bladed fan is UNDER the bladeless fan.
The title of this video is totally wrong. Look at 0:18. You see a pre fabricated fan, with blades, already. So the video maker is not making a fan, and certainly not one without blades cause that would be nearly impossible, he just places a normal fan in a housing so the fan is invisible.
It’s a copy of a Dyson fan, witch the maker called bladeless because it hides them. He is simply making a cheap copy of it, assuming you know what Dyson fans are.
Fake, it has blades... 10:00
Ra Mänd but they dont be loud.
technically its not bladeless ..
Not at all, they are called that though, since there is no spinning parts visible, and they are usually a lot safer :)
+MrLauritsabel i know its pretty cool
Considering you can buy a Dyson clone now of about this size lighted with a water cooling system for about 30.00 and his materials and a glue gun would cost about 20.00 it would probably make more sense to just buy a nice slick brand new real one. Unless you are looking to just build one anyways and are into that foam construction high school project look. It still doesn’t swivel like in the video.
I always see comments like this on DIY videos. Just makes me wonder why people are watching DIY videos if they don't even have a glue gun, and don't have any idea what they cost. I have one that was $5, and a dual temp one that was $25.
A good portion of DIY projects are more expensive than just buying the thing... but not always. It also depends on how much time you have, how much your time is worth, and what supplies you already have. Most DIYers will already have a glue gun (or two) laying around, and various materials/scrap to build with. Not to mention boxes/closets/sheds/garages full of junk that they can salvage from. Saving money is rarely the point, but once you get into it and you have some tools, you can find a lot of ways to save.
There are 3 main reasons to DIY: 1) learn something. 2) "upcycle" some old junk you have laying around. or 3) save money. And they go basically in that order most of the time. Simply "having the thing" isn't the point.
Another big reason is that people just like to make their own version with their own aesthetic/personal touches. But there are any number of other reasons, like doing something crafty with kids so _they_ can learn something. I don't have kids (yet, anyway) but I like to make things for my niece & nephew, and I like showing them that you can make things instead of just buying them. They think it's cool and you can see their minds opening up to new possibilities. I kinda wish someone would have done more DIY stuff with me when I was a kid, I didn't get into it until much later.
This fan is admittedly kind of cheesy, but I think there's a place for every level of DIY and I'm glad people are out there showing it. I saw a bigger one that a guy made by chopping up a plastic planter and a water cooler jug. Obviously when making videos, people try to save money on materials (unless it's one of the rich/sponsored youtubers that make everything perfect). If you don't like the high school foam construction look, you can use whatever you want. If you want to make one, watch a few videos, gather some ideas, and make it how you think is best. If you want to contribute to the community, make a video or instructable and show how you did it.
(I agree it's annoying that he didn't show the swivel, but it looks like he just put it on one of those little rotating tables)
Do you have a link to this cheap fan?
