Cobra Soldier: Uh, our unit just ran past the Joes and they didn't kill all of us, should we turn around and try to catch up? Maybe... even shoot them in the back? They're not guarding their six or anything. Cobra Officer: Absolutely not. You are ordered to jog in a straight line around the circumference of the earth and try again in a few years.
Man me and T-bone almost beat this game in the 90s at the mouth of Allais holler in the washtub. Wish I had all the quarters I spent in those arcade games.
This game is one of my lifelong favorite arcades. It was a technical wonder, looks great even today and it plays like butter. I read somewhere that the project was born as a sequel to the also amazing Devastators, but shortly after someone at Konami's licensing department, which was extremely prolific and busy around that time as we all know, saw the potential of tying it to the G.I.Joe franchise and so this absolute legend of a game was born. I don't know if that's only a tall take or if there's some truth to it, but I must admit that it sounds credible. There's no way to deny that the Devastators DNA is all over this.
We had this game in Canada. It would have taken me about 6 weeks and a shopping cart full of quarters to finish this. at least I got to see the end

Omg I would have loved to play this as a child!

It really is impressive - Konami really were on top of their game here!
None of us ever played as Duke. We were afraid he would get hit and go into a coma.
This guy IS Snake eyes!
Rag head cobra commander was always my favorite version
Snake-Eyes still spoke less than the movie. Heck this tie-in to the DiC Joe is better than than movie.XD
Incredible game, even 29 years later is better than a lot of new games
Is this the first time we've heard Snake Eyes speak in a form of media?
I sucked at this game but lived to play
I used to play this game at the mall all the time as a kid.
Lucky!
Most talkative version of Snake Eyes ever.
This channel is sick
Since when does Snake-eyes speak?
Konami did it
This Channel is Fucking AWESOME!!!
Wow, an early 90's Joe arcade??? Never saw it before, and rather strange for Konami to use the license so far after the cartoon aired...
Wow, is there a website we can go to and play this in 4K? Thanks again!!!
Great game play it on a CRT for maximum awesomeness..
Ha, this game is basically a remake of the 80's game, "Devastators."
I wish they had made an X-Men style 6 player GI Joe game instead.
Liked 👍😉
