“What Tim Ross is saying about the fragility of the church just isn’t true!”

“What Tim Ross is doing is hurting the church!”

Ed out here working hard at keeping the church unsafe for people to walk through their doubts and questions.... where people struggling with sin can't feel safe to share their lives...
Pick up the phone Ed and call these men over trying to stir fake drama over lack of understanding.

100... so that causes me to do what his word says in Hebrews 13:17 - Obey your leaders and submit to them, since they keep watch over your souls as those who will give an account, so that they can do this with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you.

When Tim talks about wanting to sleep with the escort, where is that coming from? Why would he assume a pastor is thinking that… asking for a friend.

Very curious to know how much time you spent speaking to this Pastor Tim Ross about his content, or how much time was spent looking into his overall body of work before even sitting to record this, let alone post it. Going even further to state that people have authority issues is also a reach.
The local church can certainly advance God’s kingdom and be a great place for people to grow and fellowship together as I have experienced… and so can a podcast or another form of content. If your strength is in the local church and building that, awesome. If you can create/find a podcast that people can relate to and be drawn to God’s word and eventually the local church, awesome.
These things CAN actually work hand in hand. If it’s not your preference that is okay as well.

7:40 I've started listening to Tim Ross multiple times after hearing what sounded like a great testimony. I eventually have to shut it off because he says some off the wall comments and the content doesn't align with what I consider the way to correctly challenge problems in the church. He constantly degrades and demeans churches and church leaders, claiming racism and arrogance. He constantly tries to justify ungodly behavior and consistently attempts to blur the lines between the church and the world. Not to mention, he's under Mike Todd, who has some way out there theology. He also is way too much on this new racial victimhood train, and all that is a bunch of nonsense. According to Tim, apparently, if we have criticism for what he says, then his content is just not for us, but God apparently affirms everything he's doing. At least in Tim's mind.

🤮👎 Bad move, horrible representation of a pastor to call out another believer you claim to not know personally… yet you have a lot to say about him? Interesting Fellowship Church is next door to Embassey City and Gateway Church where Tim Ross pastored…. You think he’s a deconstructionist, has no authority and dishonoring the church. You sir, are dishonoring the church by posting this nonsense! If you actually listened to his content in full context you would know this is insanity what you claimed about Tim. What a disappointment to be in the body of Christ and have this kind of dishonesty spread among our community. 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

It’s unfortunate to hear some of what’s being said on this podcast about Tim Ross especially when Pastor Ed prefaces his initial statement with “ I don’t know Tim Ross and I’ve only seen some of his content. Knowing Tim personally, it’s a shame to see believers call out other believers without knowing who they are and what they stand for. 😢

Pastor Ed is not attacking either of these men but is stating truth. Young leaders need this. I’ve know Pastor Ed Young for many years and he wouldn’t address this if it wasn’t needed. If we take your point no one should ever point anything out.

So call others out online without ever speaking with them and with no actual relationship. And you talk about spiritual immaturity. Come on. I’m a Pastor and this does no good for the kingdom. How about you contact them directly and if they don’t listen then bring in some elders to have that convo. It’s kind of Biblical. Good job getting more views by attaching your monologue to someone’s name who is getting more attention than you. Genius marketing tactic.

    • @TruthSeeker_7
      @TruthSeeker_7 5 місяців тому

This is a bad take. Public figures who have made public statements are open to public criticism from anyone and everyone. This has nothing to do with spiritual maturity. My question is if you have any issues with what Tim Ross is doing? It's okay to trash the church, to trash white people, to put out ridiculous statements about what God affirms so long as you're making vague generalizations, right? That is showing great spiritual maturity as long as you don't speak about someone who you don't have a personal relationship with. Also, the process you're mentioning is completely irrelevant if you're not a member of the same local church.

I think we are all well aware that none of these people want to be addressed. The purpose of these videos is to caution the sheep against deception and rebellion!!! Go and read the full counsel of God's word on these matters to understand what the right thing to do is, instead of only quoting 2 or 3 scriptures about private rebuke. The church at large is in danger because most of the church actually don't read the Bible and when they do, they lack the spiritual insight to interpret it correctly, which opens them up to being led astray by these so-called Deconstructionists. It's extremely dangerous. In Africa we deal with false prophets conjuring miracles, over in the States your problem is "preachers" with forked tongues.

No disrespect but I think you're missing the point. This isn’t an ‘echo chamber’, its a Master Class. They're creating a space for in-depth discussion with guests who actually understand the nuances of the topic. It's about quality, not quantity of perspectives.

Your team might’ve given you a little clickbait on this one, Pastor Ed. Because you’re responding on hot takes and these don’t represent the essence of what Tim Ross is teaching this generation. I hate to see you burn a relationship with a brother due to being uninformed. 🙏

Pastor Ed, I wanted to understand the point of this episode. However, it saddened me to hear you continue to negatively speak about another brother in Christ. I’ve listened to many of Tim Ross’s podcasts and I humbly submit that you are assassinating his character and intent. I pray you remove this video and even listen (in it’s entirety) to a few of Tim’s episodes. Yes, we should be careful of who we listen to, but this just didn’t feel right!
