Amazing video! What caused the cracked in the frame? A bit worrisome on such an expensive frame. That's the reason why I'm sticking to an aluminium frame for now.

hi! thank you! The light is technically a headlamp, so I took off the strap and stuck the light directly to the helmet with a 3M 2x2 inch piece of tape. The tap is smaller than the light mount but once you stick the light to the helmet, it stays! @@wattwagon I understand, this could be a good topic for a video(tire choice). So which tire do you prefer between these two tires for the type of terrain in Across Andes? And thinking that it is much rainier in Aysen, which one would you prefer for the AA 2023 edition?
@@Zkitsof Great idea!! I haven't ridden or done any research on the new route location but I WILL add it to my list of videos to make. I am a sucker for the g-one rs most of the time. I have a hard time using knobby tires in general but I know they are better in many scenarios!
oh I do have a pump!!! I always forget to mention it because it's attached to the water bottle cage on my frame. It's the lezyne pocket drive, but honestly I have decided to change it up. The pump takes FOREVER to fill a 40 tire on 700c rims. Someone I met in Chile told me about the testing he had done on pumps. He did 100 pumps on 10 different kind of pumps and found that the LEZYNE Road Drive Bicycle Tire Hand Pump put the most amount of air in the tire with the least amount of pumps. It's a bit bigger, but that sounds like a good move to me!
@@wattwagon I should have known… I had a Lezyne but had a problem with it unscrewing the valve core when I took it off. Switched to the OneUp EDC but fortunately haven’t needed it. Yet.
@@RickSwagler oh i'll take a look at the oneup pump! I'm always on the hunt for a better option. I had the valve core issue unscrewing as well, but i found if you pushed the hose down first and then twisted it (and made sure you valve core was tight) I was ok.
