Early to mid 90's was the best era in football! They had the most all time greats in the league at all positions. Every team had a franchise quarterback. You take the top 50 players of all time and most of them had played in the 90's!
Attended this game. Sat in the end-zone. Still have the ticket stub. Singletary's swan song, Ditka's last game as Bears HC and Emmitt won the rushing title. Good times.
Fitting Ditka's last game was @ Dallas. He loved Landry, played for him, one a SB with him. Ditka is just a legend period. Sad that 80's era ended with this game.
A complete turnaround from 1985 when the Bears were on their way to becoming SB Champions. Here only 7 years later the Cowboys are on their way to becoming SB Champions!!
Roger Staubach Doomsday defense was what started it all us older Cowboys fans Remember it all as well as only MVP in losing team in Super Bowl history zChuck Howley great History Cowboys 💪💪
Those 92, 93 & 95 Superbowl teams were stacked with talent! There was no way they were going to lose! And the team was put together by yours truly....Jimmie Johnson.
This is football to me. You don't see it played like this anymore. The game is too spread out and they have removed all physicality and team play. Every play is designed here. THey aren't in the shot gun every play. Aikman didn't even use the shotgun. It was a timing offense. Moose Johnston in the i-form leading Emmitt. Corners actually bump and run etc, etc. Now the game is just spread out and players play their assignments that's it like a video game. Everything is perfectly executed here. There are so many different things going on on every play.
This is the infamous game where the Jerry Jones/Jimmy Johnson feud boiled over for the first time. Jones had a Saudi entourage visiting that day and he took them down to the sideline in the fourth quarter with the score 27-0, introducing them to players and chit-chatting with them. Johnson was furious because Jones had promised him to never interfere with a game that was ongoing, and Jimmy believed the distraction is why they played such a terrible fourth quarter. Afterwards is when Johnson stormed into Jones' office and got up in his face, and the Jimmy/Jerry saga was in full swing from that point forward.
I'm glad we can watch the Cowboys game all over again. :) 90s was the best year! Thanks Troy , Emmitt, and MIchael and the team! best football games ever!
I'm a HUGE cowboys fan. ever since I was a little in the 90s. been recently watching these early 90s games as I was too young but damn Moose was taking some crazy punishment. feel bad he had his career cut short with the neck Injury. these are some vicious hits
I agree with GOAT Summeral, but NOT "Motor-Mouth Madden". He yelled all the time, overrode Pat, and gave all his opinions like they were the only ones that counted. Commentators disagreeing with the ref's is a pet peeve of mine. Regardless of what they think, the play called is what stands, and all their posturing is just a waste of time.
This game and the Rams game were low intensity efforts and the Bears just did not have enough offense to make the Boys pay. Their youth showed in those two games. But they came alive in the playoffs. The second half against the 49ers was an offensive masterpiece. Thanks Jerry for ending the glory days too early.
This is the play and the subsequent penalty that I always point to right before today's Cowboys enter the playoffs. Jimmy set an example, a wake-up call.
He was having a good game up to the 4rth quarter which was a disaster. Two fumbles. He had that pushing incident with Zorich who later recovered his 2nd fumble for a touchdown. After the 1st fumble he told Richards not to fumble again.
Oddly this rather uninspiring performance is what finally convinced me we might really be the best team in football already. When you are playing for nothing and play poorly-yet still dominate another team-it’s generally because you are just that talented.
Swervin Curvin Richards. He fumbled the ball several times backing up Emmitt Smith and nearly cost the Cowboys this game. Jimmy Johnson would cut Richards after this game. Lol.
The Cowboys dominated this game and showed they were going to be the team to beat for years to come. For the Bears everything was winding down for that 80's team. Mike Singletary was retiring. Mike Dikta would be gone after the season. The torch was passed because from 85 to 90 the Bears owned the Cowboys whenever they played. It used to be the other way around, but from 85 to 90 the Bears were just too talented on defense. In 91, the Cowboys beat the Bears in the wildcard in a hard fought game where the Bears were still a playoff team. Sadly in 92 for the Bears it all came crashing down.
In the America"s game 88 claimed the team killed Chicago, he must have had a dream it or something. They killed teams in bigger games & looked so much better then this day on offense
LOL at about 1:37:45 good ol' John Madden says "Someday, everyone is going to know about Leon Lett." Truer words were never spoken. About 5 weeks later, everyone who watched the Superbowl, and half the people who didn't, knew who Leon Lett was.
Yes, the Bills QB Jim Kelly got knocked outta the game in Houston at the astrodome. The Bills lost to the Oilers 27-3, losing the AFC East title. The Bills then hosted the Oilers at Buffalo the following week and were down 35-3 and then came all the way back to beat the Oilers with the Bills having Frank Reich at QB. Bills then beat the Steelers in Pittsburgh and then Miami in Miami in the AFC title game. Miami hasn’t reached the AFC title game since that defeat. The Bills made the Super Bowl vs Dallas, but Jim Kelly was hurt and turning the ball over left and right. Dallas as you know won 52-17. The Dallas Cowboys had a chance to go to four Super Bowls in a row as well, but awkward turnovers and the refs took that away in 1994. The 1992-1995 Dallas Cowboys are one of the greatest teams in the history of the NFL.
This was Curvin Richards last game with Dallas. Jimmy cut him on the Tuesday after game. Curvin thought he was just as good or better than Emmit, and well he had his chance to be at least the backup. Jimmy sends the message to team, no discipline no job. There were expectations, and if you kept hot dogging it you were gone. That is why they won championships. Accountability and consequences. Except for Parcells there has been none of that since. Belichick did what jimmy did in running a team. Only difference is jimmy did not cheat. Feel privileged to have seen that cowboys team win in person during their run.
Funny hearing John Madden complain about the Bears quarterback not having a string on his mouthpiece and nowadays no one has a string on their mouthpiece anymore. My how things have changed. 😂
How come they didn’t show those guys that got kicked out of Texas stadium I remember seeing them get kicked and one of security guards had one by the bra strap lol
Lol. And people talk crap about Dak. I don't get it. Dude's as good as this guy but doesn't have the coaches or defense.. offensive line .. RB and those wr.
Dak isn’t fit to carry Aikman’s jockstrap. Aikman was way more accurate, had a much quicker release, a better arm, and could actually throw on time and in rhythm. In today’s wide open pass happy game, where DBs are hardly allowed to physically cover a WR, where the rules are stringent on where and when you can hit a QB, Aikman would be lethal.
I was at the game with a good friend behind the end zone and my contacts were a little fogged up and couldn't do anything about it, but still enjoyed the game! #DC4L
Early 90s championship Cowboys! What an era it was, golden, the good old days. Every Cowboys fan longs to see it again.
Especially after the 88 and 89 seasons
hell yes! i was but a kid I think 12yrs old in 94 cowboys vs bills superbowl. I was a huge cowboys fan then and of course emmitt smith !

that's awesome man!!!
Very cool!
I didn't know it was his last game,I saw Singletary first and last game.
Was also Curvin Richard’s last game 😂😂😂😂
And if I remember correctly, we held Chicago to < 100 yds of total offense!
#DoomsdayIII
Fitting Ditka's last game was @ Dallas. He loved Landry, played for him, one a SB with him. Ditka is just a legend period. Sad that 80's era ended with this game.

I was at this game. The only NFL game I've ever been to.
Me too. I just thought about it and looked it up.
Just the best era in cowboys history and that’s saying something
Roger Staubach Doomsday defense was what started it all us older Cowboys fans Remember it all as well as only MVP in losing team in Super Bowl history zChuck Howley great History Cowboys 💪💪
Especially since the cowboys cant win in the playoffs anymore
Another early 90’s championship era upload! Ain’t nothin better! Thanks Ryan!
Those 92, 93 & 95 Superbowl teams were stacked with talent! There was no way they were going to lose! And the team was put together by yours truly....Jimmie Johnson.
Emmitt Smith was the best player on the best team of the early 90s.
Early 90s championship Cowboys! What an era it was, Holden, the good old days! Every Cowboys fan longs to see it again.
92 season was one to remember
I miss these days I miss my cowboys being this good smh

The Bandar Bowl !
I believe it too. The defense was noticeably flat on the first Chicago TD that broke the shutout. Looked like a Friday walkthrough.
Great days of cowboys family always . One game at time.cowboy always 👍😊
The end of the Chicago era and the beginning of Dallas dynasty
..and Da Bears are still under the two curses from that era '82-'92
I'm glad we can watch the Cowboys game all over again. :) 90s was the best year! Thanks Troy , Emmitt, and MIchael and the team! best football games ever!

00:36 when emmit beat singletary that was symbolic of the change
#1 D in the league without a pro blowler. That's team D! 2023, and watching this team still makes me happy
Madden & Summeral " THE 🐐 GOAT'S.
I agree with GOAT Summeral, but NOT "Motor-Mouth Madden". He yelled all the time, overrode Pat, and gave all his opinions like they were the only ones that counted. Glory Days for The Boys, no doubt. Ole Jer has been trying to get that back for 30 years now.
Will Furrer ❤ Great person and a pretty darn good QB ...tough to beat America's Team.
This game and the Rams game were low intensity efforts and the Bears just did not have enough offense to make the Boys pay. Their youth showed in those two games. But they came alive in the playoffs. The second half against the 49ers was an offensive masterpiece. Thanks Jerry for ending the glory days too early.
Mike Ditka 's last game as the Bears head coach
I was at this game with a close friend! Had a great time! #DC4L
The 1992-1993 Cowboys had no weaknesses.
Except for Curvin Richards who became a non-weakness the day after this game was played.
damn emmitt needed 9 more yards on the play and broke loose for a TD. niiiiice
Curvin Richards got cut for fumbling, right after the game.
This is the play and the subsequent penalty that I always point to right before today's Cowboys enter the playoffs. Jimmy set an example, a wake-up call.

53:53 Darren Woodson kick coverage
54:36 … Madden speculates on declining relevance of NeilAnderson
1:07:38 … Russell Maryland TD
1:15:24 … Alvin Harper likely concussion

Definitely a "Changing of the Guard". No Peyton, no McMahon, Ditka leaving, Chicago returns to mediocrity. COWBOYS return to prominence.
*Payton
He shot three air balls on one play. Gosh I miss Madden.
Do you have week 4 2003 Cowboys at Jets?
No, that game continues to elude me. I'm still looking for it.
Two bad calls on one drive against the vastly underrated Donnell Wolford.
Bum from Clemson
In the America"s game 88 claimed the team killed Chicago, he must have had a dream it or something. They killed teams in bigger games & looked so much better then this day on offense

Once again John Madden displays his brilliance
😆
Love my cowboys
is this the 44-0 game? i kid, i kid.
No, that was in 1985
10:52 did buffalo lose ? not that it matters we know where they ended up but it would at least mean miami won the division

36:28 … Kenneth Gant hit on punt coverage
Do you have anymore from 1999 or 1997
The Bears dynasty ends at the same place they played a 44 0 shelacking on the cowboys!!!
This was Curvin Richards last game with Dallas. Jimmy cut him on the Tuesday after game. Curvin thought he was just as good or better than Emmit, and well he had his chance to be at least the backup. Just like the Cowboys, the Bears should have won more Superbowels...especially with that '85 defense.
Funny hearing John Madden complain about the Bears quarterback not having a string on his mouthpiece and nowadays no one has a string on their mouthpiece anymore. My how things have changed. 😂
Changing of the guard game
I seen 6 future HOF in the first 2:00
That happened in the 91 playoffs
15:44 lazy graphics needs 85 for what ? lol if you're just tuning in you're clueless
Can you do Redskins vs Cowboys Week 2 2006
Or Cowboys vs Redskins Week 16 2009
@@AndreiKenshin24 I'll see what I can do. I don't have the 2006 game yet.
1:39:00 Bill Banzi Bates
16:28 roughing the passer now
Current game is soft and the defenses are limited. Imagine Patrick Mahomes actually taking hard hits and low hits. The current game is unwatchable.
Will Furrer?
24:50 why don't the other players have those numbers on their helmets ? I'm assuming it's to honor players who died ?
Not entirely certain but possibly #98 was for Jerome Brown and #44 was Shane Curry the numbers they wore when they played at University of Miami.
1:07:42 pretty much summed up the Bears 1992 season. That was pathetic.
Tony Romo 👍👍👍That cowboys QB is lucky to have Emmitt and number 1 defense.
?????? Romo???
That was Troy Aikman, not Tony Romo.
TERRIBLE pass interference calls around the 42-minute mark, Bears DB couldn't have played it any better.
How come they didn’t show those guys that got kicked out of Texas stadium I remember seeing them get kicked and one of security guards had one by the bra strap lol
Furrer no Aikman.
youtube offers to translate this comment into English.
cbs
Lol. And people talk crap about Dak.
I don't get it. Dude's as good as this guy but doesn't have the coaches or defense.. offensive line .. RB and those wr.
How many times are you going to post this stuff? Aikman was way better than Dak and most current NFL QBs. I’m not sure what you’re watching.
Quincy Carter was better than Dak.
Watch Troy aikman play against the 49ers the watch Dak and then ask yourself who is better.
redskins special teams turnover !
I was at the game with a good friend behind the end zone and my contacts were a little fogged up and couldn't do anything about it, but still enjoyed the game!
