At first I blamed the operator of the boat who ran over the young lady. Now I’m inclined to look to the ski boat operator for choosing to tow a skier in this area of the bay in choppy waters. Even with a one foot chop or less it’s difficult to see much more than 100 feet or even less in front of you. It seems there’s enough blame to go around. So truly sorry for this young lady to leave earth in this manner. God has you in his arms.
Yet another bogus report. There is zero evidence that this man or his boat was involved in the incident. All they have is a vague "description" of a boat from possibly impaired guests on a overloaded and oversized vessel being used for party ski duty.
I'm glad to see so many people not blaming the old guy who owned the boat that hit her. As a former boat owner but nowhere near the size of this boat, 16 ft 140 HP, I can tell you it's hard to see someone floating in the water, the only part exposed is the persons head and if it's choppy or the sun is in your eyes that person is invisible. When we water skied we always went to an area where there was little or no traffic and stayed as far away as possible from any boats that came by.
The Miami Herald wrote an extensive report focusing on Mr. Alonzo's personal wealth. What on earth does his personal wealth have to do with this tragic accident?
I think Miami is a hub for incompetent boaters. I watch many videos on the area. It's appalling. I'm surprised there aren't more tragedies of similar nature. I want to blame the wake boarders in a high access/traffic area. They must be suffering at this time, as well. My condolences to the family and loving friends of Ella's; a beautiful ballet dancer. My heart goes out to the owner of the boat, as well. He must be devastated. I pray everyone is comforted, dear Lord. Amen
Wakeboarding behind a 45ft day cruiser in a busy boating lane is the reason this accident happened. Poor choices. The boat driver who hit her had no expectation a skier would be in the water..nor can you see someone. This old man should be left alone.
78 years old driving a 2-3 million dollar boat with 3-4 engines on it. Doubt he knew what happened... Although be better hope he has VERY GOOD insurance. very sad story.
I go boating with a man who was a former airline senior captain. He is in his 80s. He is the most competent captain I know. And, I've been on the water since before I was even a teenager. that's a long time. LOL
It appears that a combination of choppy water, bright light, and heavy watercraft traffic could make for a very serious (deadly) event. Out here in the Pacific Northwest, even on our lakes a downed skier/boarder is extremely hard to spot-even with a flagger , calm waters, and low boat traffic. This horrible event sounds like it was a deadly decision to be the tiniest object in the water that day. Such sorrows for her, the family, the community, and even the causing (alleged) boat pilot. peace
Well at least we know the driver of the “ski” boat is beyond reproach. Not a surprise. Bet their attorneys are working double time. Won’t be in shock if it’s someone with some influence otherwise their names would be plastered all over the news.
So don’t charge the multimillionaire because of course they are always innocent. Nope go after the person pulling the skier’s because they aren’t millionaires and of course are always guilty
@@doggovision8765 There's a new video clip out today of him supposedly returning to his dock, apparently oblivious to the accident. I presume this "evidence" could have been staged, even the "time stamp" seen VERY prominently on the video.
This raises another question if life vest for boaters should have emergency strobe lights that could increase visibility if a boat is coming towards them or a rescue boat doesn't kill them or even a red flag with extension like a tripod can make all the difference wave the Flag. ❤
Sorry for the families lost and sorry for that little girl but as soon as I seen Jill Biden on this video, I scrolled to the next video because she’s only there because this man an ambassador if it was an ordinary citizen, she would not be there
