Thanks. A comparison of the three versions was exactly the video I was looking for.
Thanks Gary! Glad we could help :D
For me, the increased setup and teardown of Party, along with reshuffling the deck between each round, was too much faff for such a simple game, and we went back to the base game.
Hey to each their own! I think the ease of travel with the base is very nice, I just wish it played to higher player counts. It seems each come with their own set of benefits.
Good comparison! I'd like to point out that Sushi Roll is the only version that works at 2P.
Believe it or not, but Sushi Go Party is one of Emily and I’s favorites to pull out and play casually just the 2 of us!
I actually bought both Sushi Go and Party, and combined both together 🤣
played the dim sum variant and that one was probably my fav as a sushi go party owrner
Thank you for the detailed description. Maybe it is a stupid question, but could you play with 7 or 8 players if you have two Sets of base game Sushi Go?
The designer did come up with a two-deck variant for more players on BGG, and you could also try playing Party style - reshuffle the deck and discards each round, and put a few puddings in at a time. Party was actually inspired by these attempts to make a variant for more players.
Love this video format. You da real MVP DOOLIN
2 copies of Sushi Roll is Sushi Roll Party!
I'd like to try any. The art is adorable
By now, I own Sushi Go and have played Party. I'd like to try roll.
Canada hype! Flanel twin magic✨

Awesome job.
I never hear people talk about Sushi Roll.
Don't like metal tins, they should just use cardboard boxes.
