Actually the price of the Furious EMX Ultimate 60V is really competitive.
They have it on pre-order discount now for the next batch. It's $2400 (down from $2700) and you can opt for 2nd 60v15ah battery for only $200 (down from future $600).
For a $2600 total for a dual motor 60v35ah ebike, full suspension, 38mph with free delivery is actually insane.
I put those HEB Allscape tires on my Juiced RCS, great upgrade! Quieter and more secure while still maintaining some off-road dirt/gravel traction.
I'm tempted to give them a try. How are they on smooth dirt, like a groomed MBT with steep climbs?
Can't comment on steep climbs, but quite adequate on single track MTB trails.

You mentioned the Wired Freedom. The Wired Freedom just got an update too with a second battery on the bike. Some people are claiming a couple mph more top speed. Ecells will likely have to dual it out with them (as those two companies have a back and forth upping the ante). Great to see these ebike companies competing.
E Cells is already way ahead of them in build quality and they just upgraded their over all package! I put my money on E cells for longevity, wired already had had controllers over heat! Plus E cells has exclusives like ECells will be the first and only brand to receive a custom gallium nitride powered FTEX controller, delivering nearly 3KW of peak power per wheel and featuring flux weakening algorithms pushing the bike to a higher maximum speeds. So far I see E cells not have to dual out anything! Let people go buy their wired and let the complaints and problems keep making waves in the videos trying to gain a extra 2 to 3 mph over E cells which once the new upgrades are up they don't have a chance!
How about the Wired Predator. I was about to order until I seen ppl complaining about the “death wobble”. Seen many reviews showing that bike has a lot of flex in it.
@@bdub3871 Apparently Wired now includes the Hellbender Headset which helps with the wobble included inside the kit (but you may need to install it yourself). Honestly, as long as you have 1 hand on the bars you will be fine. I only notice the wobble when I take BOTH hands off and some 30+ mile trips I won't even notice, if I don't take my hands off. It seems to be the worst for me between 16 to 21 mph.
The Citizen Cycle UA-cam channel also did a review adding weight to the back on other e-bikes, and all the bikes basically had the same issue when weight was on the rear rack - when Wired upgraded the rear battery, the center of mass slightly shifted towards the back.
I love Wired Freedom though and would HIGHLY recommend it. The wobble people talk about is a bit overstated imo.

I really like the looks of the Aniioki. A longer travel suspension and 72v battery would get me to order one today.
I personally like the Furious EMX only because it looks less like an e-bike and the mag wheels make it pop.
I'd prefer the Furious because it's more likely to go under the radar, and it's lighter. It's also has an optional second battery that slots into the rear rack. For myself, I still prefer a more powerful rear motor. AWD is the best setup for sand, but not for hill climbing because the weight transfers to the back and the front spins out. We have actual mountain bike trails nearby with 30 to 40% grades, and most of the are either slanted or curving. AWD could not climb this, but I do it all the time on a single rear motor.

I consider myself to be a seasoned fat bike commuter, 13 miles each way varied terrain and inclines. Both those bikes look really good tbf.. Yes 48 is dead for homebuild bit still around in EU/uk due to road size basically. I have 2 old 48v batteries gonna make me a mental 96v scooter one day
nah, both already have full review on youtube now, Aniioki A8 pro max comfortably reached 42mph (GPS) with $300 off now at $2699 ($150 Gift Package rack and upgraded Air Shock Fork) and 60ah battery, a clear winner. That Furious EMX Ultimate is slower at only top speed 38mph, but higher price and smaller battery.
Aniioki is kinda hard to beat if you really want a Ebike that can do the distance, very comfortable, speed is very good, dual should get you up hills when needed. And it looks good.Some don't like heavy but heavy makes this bike smooth and stable at high speeds, what good is high speeds when you feel unstable? Also, if I want to upgrade it to 72v with more speed I know it will be stable and smooth unlike some others. If I didn't care about distance then probably would opp for something lighter.
I like my E-CELLS Super Monarch Crown EMTB. 2 BAFANG 52 V 750 watt motors, 2 52V Samsung batteries (20 Ah and 15 Ah), DUAL suspension, TEKTRO Dorado 4 piston brakes on 203 mm discs that are 2.3 mm thick.
My S.M.C. is built on a BiCYCLE style frame, not a dirt bike style frame. I like it that way.

The fabulous bike has the extra 15 ah battery that puts the Emx to 60 volts x 35 ah = 2100 wh total ,,,the bike goes 39 Mille hrs ,,, not bad 💪

Motor speed(rotational velocity) isn't determined solely by voltage(even though it's half the factor) it's determined by wattage. 72v at 45 amps or 52v at 60 amps(both approximately 3200 watts) will give you the same top speed of 45 mph on an bike that weighs around 120-150 lbs. Wheel size doesn't really matter either with some of these bikes having 20 inch wheels while some 26 as long as the tire/rim weight is similar. Tesla Cybertruck would get way better range if they put lighter rims/tires on it.
bro, what are you saying? Voltage is by far the determining factor for these ebikes. It's voltage, combined with gearing, motor winding, and wheel diameter.....then wattage only matters when fighting against the wind resistance or gravity if going up hill.

The bikes won't be perfect until they have dual 48-volt batteries that disconnect from their BMSs so they can be ran in series for a 96-volt series connection when the key is turned to the ON position. I'm content with the 40+ MPH of the 60-volt e-bikes but I want to be able to hook it directly to my 48-volt battery bank for DC charging without a DC-DC converter. The same should be happening with city cars but those should reach and maintain speeds of 55. People are totally missing the target because they can't see the obvious selling point for people who have already embraced a greener, more freedom-based lifestyle where the grid is unneeded for e-machines to be charged up. The most overlooked tool of the 21st century is the human brain. Recently it has been neglected and virtually forgotten altogether.

Idk how that would work. A mid drive still has a chain putting power into the rear wheel

A mid-drive(RWD) would work with a front hub motor.
Cool but four things i can think off top my head. DM is more$, heavier, batt eater, and i believe less peak than rwd only. Still awesome of course
I thought dual motor was more efficient on battery if cruising the same speed because you are on the throttle less often.. I guess full throttle the entire time would definitely eat up battery life much more though

Dual hub motors are much more torquey and give you much faster acceleration to your top speed compared to one hub motor
Although I am a big fan of Enduro e-bike, I will choose anoke A8 pro
You'll gain between 5 and 10 mph in top speed when you kick in the second motor. That's what I get with my bike anyway.

but I kinda like how quiet they are. They still do not have the range/miles per charge that I'd want before buying. The other things
is that I think they are priced too high but as soon as lithium battery production has met the back orders there will be too many
Chinese battery manufacturers which should begin to drop those prices? We shall see & I heard this from a man "Shorting" his
stock holdings in those manufacturers so he believes. If he goes belly up I'll know he was wrong. I thought that ebikes were
supposed to be good for the environment but as it turns out it takes more energy to create the batteries that to find/pump

That's a lot of power for geared hubmotors, they have cooling issues even you run them hard as stock on a bike half that weight. They should the very least ferrofluid treat the motors before handing them off to customers that will drive them like mopeds.
They seem to do ok depending on the brand. I was invited to a group moped ride that was supposed to be gas and electric, but the only electrics that showed up were myself and an Onyx RCR. We did 30 to 40mph for 30 miles, and my Bafang G062 peaking at 3kw was fine. On the other hand, my friend's Ariel Rider Grizzley wrecked a motor and both controllers after a few minutes in sand. I love ferrofluid, but it's not as effective in geared hub motors because of the air gap between the magnet shell and the motor casing. It does work great in direct drive hubs though.
@@Altema22 I'm just basing this on the various forums and running geared hubs hard especially when the power is 50% or more than the manufacturer actually intended for occasional use they don't last. Most people won't notice if its in recreational use, but people using them to commute or even worse for delivery work will see them fail very often and of course they are upset if its messing with their livelyhoods. They should instead get proper electric scooters or motorcycles, but they thought they can get away with smaller investment.
Which bike are you referring to? I am curious. Seen a forum talking about this as well not to long ago but me being kinda new to community at the time, I really didn’t understand what they were talking about.
@ Aniioki was getting lot of flak, but I'm sure its not just them, though their huge battery capacity probably made them popular among the bike delivery people.
EMX price is Canadian $. Has a dual battery option (rack). 48v is actually best battery voltage for range and acceleration and efficiency. Obviously, higher voltage is not deal breaker. Smaller dual batteries is much more flexible for weight/range/multiple spares. Larger battery supports faster charging.

Those fabulous bikes are just as chinese as aniioki. I thought it looked like a familiar design, I've seen a few of them in denmark before. Chinese import the lot of them, sold 3-4 times more expensive.
Fabulous is making a new bike which if faster, cheaper, and has more range.

happy tails did a review on the aniioki and taking one look at the controller inside it looks way to small to be putting out 3kw total. The only real world advantage of dual hub motors is going straight in snow or mud and feeling a bit of extra torque other than that front wheel drive makes your bike more dangerous to drive on gravel or wet pavement because your front wheel isnt supposed to spin out and pull you its supposed to dig in and carve. that front disk is straight up ugly and overkill. even with my upgraded 220mm front rotor with magura brakes i was able to lock up the front wheel and do an indo on those old motoped mopeds. 220's should have been fine for this bike. I'm almost finished with a prototype frame that can be expanded up to over 110ah at 48v/100 ah @52v/45ah @ 60v and last but not least 34 ah @ 72v. if you're in my line of sight on my travels to other youtubers I wouldnt mind stopping by to let you do a test ride.
Everything about anioki screams red flags. Yeah it’s got that battery but I would get something else.
a lot of "48v" batteries are in reality 52 or 53 volts -- use a volt meter and check yourself
a 48 volt battery when fully charged is 54.6 volt . A 52 volt battery is 58.8 volt when fully charged .
Buddy you messed up. Wired is dual battery stock now and 3300 watts. Cheaper than both too at 1900 bucks. Big miss. So 60V 35AH battery system now to be clear
Dual motor is way too much weight on the steering axle. More Powerful RWD is the way to go, and more efficient.
@@PoindogindustriesI'm a 300-pound guy that lives in the mountains. I burn up a single rear motors in about 500 to 1000 miles and that's with me pedaling. Duel motor all the way.

I just converted my 48v 23ah 1500w rear hub bike into a 48v 38ah 2500w dual motor (1500w rear, 1000w front)
It was really easy with a $200 motor kit, and another $200 for the 48v 15ah battery
becareful with those cheap batteries bro, even though they are like 99% safe....that 1% fire is terrifying

Aniioki is a nice looking bike but poor customer service and quality control and that means alot when purchasing a $3000 ebike. The way a company feels and acts when you receive a damaged ebike says a lot about a company. If you dont back your product and its craftsmanship and its performance and you lie about its capabilities it says a lot about the company. The truth is this bike doesnt go 45, its goes 41 and thats by UA-camrs who have been given modified faster versions of the version everyone else will receive. So realistically i bet the next batches to follow will be under 40mph, just like eahora romeo 2 that people are claiming 43, but yet the website says 34-37, so whats up with that. These Chinese companies sell you on 45mph! then you receive 35 and you're like wtf. If you try to fight them on this there is nothing you can do, if they are dishonest you will be stuck with an ebike that isnt the performance level that was sold to you. If im an ebike company i would want my bike to actually go 45mph with a full grown person on it because thats the real world use of it, why lie about it. Almost every ebike i have bought has been well below its "top speed", only 1 was accurate. These are not cheap ebikes for companies to be inventing numbers. At this price point id buy a ariel rider grizzly, bandit x trail pro or a talaria xxx or even roadrunner pro.

Closest you'll get is the Roadrunner Pro is 60v / 30ah / 4kw DHM (2kw each) / $2500 right now. It's an amazing deal. It's too small for me. Scooters, regular stand-up scooters are the companies making ridiculously fast products
