It's not that the new one looks bad. The old RC was iconic and in some way had a throw back feel to the 90s small bikes with those two circle lights. The new one just looks generic by comparison. BUT the tech in the new one is truly impressive.

Wonder how the brake heat effects the rim on the front? Seems like a big part of having brake discs mounted on a bracket was to isolate the heat from the rim a little.
Man I hope ktm makes a bigger sportsbike in the future. And I know, the rc 8c exists, but that is basiclly a moto gp bike for sale and it's not street legal.

With that ktm rc, a big bore kit plus remap exhaust etc all the toys would set it alight, plus with the looks really a step up from the ninja what I find has a more of a traditional kinda shape to it, with all thoses extras on the ktm its still much cheaper then the ninja, I think that's why I'd kinda prefer it to be honest.
yeah i have a 2017 rc125 oil changed more than most people shower every service every part everything the bike ever needed done never ran when not warm blew up at 19k miles lost hope in these bikes even though i love mine so much
Can someone tell me, why is it 8+ kg heavier than the previous model, when all these claims, to have lost so much weight, in so many areas.Take a look at the exhaust between the header pipe and muffler canister,I think my garden hose has more diameter,talk about restrictive,thanks euro 5.
Guys don't get too much worked up - the "fluid" in CFD is just the air flowing around the bike. No more other fluids involved, except maybe the biker's sweat ;-)
All this stuff sounds great. I want to see this bike in the hands of someone like Yammie and other bike reviewers to get and idea of how it goes on the street and stacks up against the r3 and ninja 400. All the track stuff is cool, but I suspect that if you average out the life of all these bikes, it will spend 95% of its time on the street.
YO KTM RC looks cool But i don't like that new face mask & annoying exhaust sound and plz change the tyre colour orange or any matching colour it more be looking cool & awesome And it will be more looking sick then other bikes U feel me
@@36trip It is the way they feel and how they rev. The singles on 390 engines don't like to be revved all the way to the redline and kind of struggle at these rpms with a lot of vibrations and power loss. Those engines perform the best at 4k-8.5k rpm. Going all the way to 10k rpm on a 390 also drastically reduces the engine lifespan. The Kawasaki 400 engine is very smooth and rev-happy, and it loves to be revved all the way to the redline, rewarding you with an extra power kick after 9.5k rpm.
I own a 2018 model ,I would have upgraded to the 2022 model ,but the after sales service in some parts on India is the worst experience ever . Even the KTM app doesn't work.
I nearly brought one. I got the Ninja 400 instesd. The KTM was superior in every way except the engine was a POS vibrator. I couldnt live with that piss poor motor. Reliability ???????

Definitely not. It's easy to reach 85 to 90mph.

Those engines perform the best at 4k-8.5k rpm. Going all the way to 10k rpm on a 390 also drastically reduces the engine lifespan.
