MAJOR Apartment Declutter + 2 Bedroom Seoul Apartment Makeover - Day 1

  • This is part 1 of our extreme Seoul Makeover + Declutter featuring a 2 bedroom apartment in Seoul. 2020 hit just as they moved into their apartment and you can imagine that life got pretty stressful pretty quickly. When that happened, they neglected unpacking fully and before they knew it, there was a literal mountain of shi* left. But we've all been there, it happens. And especially with 2020, I GET IT! Today I wanted to start their makeover by decluttering their apartment, going through everything piece by piece and seeing if it's something we can get rid of. If not, I want to put it back in the space it belongs within the apartment. The second part of this video will focus more on pulling the whole space together, but today we're focusing on decluttering their lounge, bedroom and "dark room." This def felt like a therapy session leaving us emotionally and physically exhausted, so we squeezed in as much as we could on the first day and I'll be back to tackle the rest of their apartment another day and complete their 2 bedroom Seoul Apartment Makeover!

Those quick makeovers or the super fancy ones always made me feel depressed 🤣 because it took me so much longer and sometimes there are limits to getting the look you want (it just won’t work in every location). "You have the recycling which has to stay, in Korea you have to deal with that" sounded like recycling is a bad thing and a burden. :/ I hope it wasn't meant to be like that. I think that everyone who purchases something should also have the responsibility of where the waste goes and I actually really like the Korean recycling system.

    • @SpaceMakerMethod
      @SpaceMakerMethod  3 роки тому +1

      Not what I meant. It's great to recycle, def for that... but in small homes like we have here there is always a challenge of storing it someplace. Usually you don't have space for it so it can crowd your already small space... especially if it's a small family home. Just the reality. Not a dis at recycling.
