Cynthia - You're welcome. My HS girlfriend gave me the album "On The Border" in the summer of '75. I had heard "Already Gone" on the way home from school with some friends. I asked them who we were listening to and they said, "this is the Eagles." I had to have that album! I had heard "Take It Easy", "Witchy Woman", "Desperado" and a few other songs but always on the radio. I remember seeing the name "Glenn Frey" for the first time on the back of that album. Little did I know then of the journey I was about to get on following the Eagles over all these years.

    Smugglers Blues
    Sexy Girl
    The Heat is On
    You Belong to the City
From Glenn's solo debut album " No Fun Aloud" from 1982. A beautiful song about a friendship that the boy hopes will turn to love, but the ex boyfriend calls and screw this up.
The sax is so captivating and Glenn's dreamy vocals are so seductive to the ears. 💎💎💎💎 Just a dreamy song. Love it. Great reaction Harri. Thanks Harri and PNCombie. Masterpiece.🎷🎷🎶🎶 Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦

An example why the Eagles was such a great band. Glen Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh, all successful with the band or as solo artists.

Glenn's solo stuff was so overlooked, many of us pissed about the break up of Eagles. When Rolling Stone asked him if he'd ever return to Eagles he said , Why, I'm having fun...with that said this song is beautiful....Hari please check out Glenns solo album "Strange Weather" ..and a single called.." River of Dreams.'

If there are 2 bands I regret not seeing live came here with original members 1) is the Eagles and 2) is Fleetwood Mac. They both came in 2015 and tickets for each concert were around $400 each. Sadly Glenn died 6 months later and Fleetwood Mac kicked Lindsey out of the band again. Now Christine McVie is gone. So I guess I just have my Vinyl & CDs. But both bands will be always a part of the song list of my life 😉

@@johnathanstruble1064 Back at you from your friend from in Austin. I was working evenings for the main PO in Austin in the summer of '94, and I would hang out late night with a co-worker and friend who worked like hours, and who was a neighbor of mine. A former radio station in Austin - Z-102 - was giving tickets away for the Eagles show in San Antonio. After about a week of playing pool and video games with my friend after work and trying win tickets while listening to Z-102, I was finally that 8th caller and I snagged a couple of tickets to their Hell Freezes Over Tour. I drove down there the next day and it was wonderful! My lady and I just saw them at the new Moody Center on UT's campus in May. It was a superb show, but I was definitely missing Don Felder and their former frontman, Glenn Frey. Nice to know you, Jonothan...you can find me on Facebook as "Neal Combies".
