    Ok everyone…the pretty hands and nails in the video is my wifes 😅 please don’t panic and worry, I’m not putting beautiful nail art on my nails 💅
    Couldn’t have my manly hands holding something so small and intricate and ruining the shot 🤣

      Have to agree, it’s hard to believe you can get such good quality audio from something so small, and also so easy.
      I know a lot of audiophiles may pick it apart and comparing it to a $1000 condenser mic isn’t fair.
      The fact the set up is a few seconds and the quality is amazing blows my mind.
      Even the audio quality using the mobile version when Zack was on his bike was unreal. Taking phone videos to such high quality with good audio is definitely a game changer.

      @@RICH_Photography At the moment I have the FullAim x5 system and I did a short movie scene with it. I found that the noise from clothing was cut considerably when using the wind jammer fury . Obviously with extreme movement you still get clothing noise but just walking and talking and general normal movement it worked like a charm.

    Hey thanks for the video, I have a question about on 9:45 you say when you plug into your phone goes mono and you cant get stereo.. Does that mean when recording on a phone you can only do mono?

    • @RICH_Photography
      @RICH_Photography  10 місяців тому +1

      You’re welcome. From what I’ve noticed and understand, if you connect your phone to the camera receive it will record mono stereo.
      If you use the smartphone receiver, it seems to record into stereo. (The audio from the bicycle ride with Zack has not been altered, and it comes through 2 channels if you wear head phones)
      In reality you’ll never truly get ‘full blown’ stereo that can give you amazing direction from a small mic anyway. But if your question is to ask if you record with the mobile receiver, the audio will come through both speakers as ‘stereo’ without any altering of the audio.
      Hope that helps 🙏

    I've watched reviews of this thing and nobody mentions how long the battery of the little mic last before it runs out.

    • @RICH_Photography
      @RICH_Photography  9 місяців тому

      That’s because it’s pretty tough to test it in one go because it’s so long. Hollyland does claim 40 hours in total.
      Let me try explain.
      When the case is fully charged, and you use the mic, you get 40 hours of total use until the original mic charge and case is completely flat from recharging.
      Based on an assumption of a full case charge giving you 2.5 to 4 full charges as previous versions.
      Id estimate an average of 8 hours on a charge.
      I’ve personally used it for 2 hours consecutively in a live stream and had no issues obviously. I’ve used both mics in a long video of about 3.5 hours and also had no issues.
      It’s really hard to get an idea when something has such great battery life.
      I have used the Lark 150s for many years and still can’t tell you the battery life because I’ve used it for 6 hours at most.
      I know this doesn’t give you an exact answer but I can tell you the battery life is amazing.

  • @Ronnie.Ericsson
    @Ronnie.Ericsson 10 місяців тому

    Exact same results? To me it seemed like audio dropouts started at the speed bump for the camera receiver, and 2-3 times further away with the usb-c receiver. What am I missing?

    • @RICH_Photography
      @RICH_Photography  10 місяців тому

      The signal did come back as it dropped out by the speed bump, however the USB C receiver also drops out a bit just after. You don’t hear it much as Zack wasn’t speaking.
      In addition, and this is partly my fault, the camera was placed on a tripod on the pavement, under a tree…we were worried about passing cars.
      Last minute we decided to do the test on the USB C receiver and stood with the phone in the middle of the road which was a lot better than on the pavement under a tree.
      So…same results, give or take a meter or 3 😉😜

    • @Ronnie.Ericsson
      @Ronnie.Ericsson 10 місяців тому

      @@RICH_Photography Aha. Thanks for clarifying that! By the way: how far from the receiver would you estimate the speed bump to be?

    • @RICH_Photography
      @RICH_Photography  10 місяців тому +1

      That’s a good 50m, the camera and phone were placed in the same distance from the speed hump, we literally just stepped out onto the road.
      So in the wide shot on the ISB C receiver as it starts gives a pretty good idea.
      I think Hollyland’s spec sheet claims around 60m ‘not line of sight’ and 300m line of sight.
