after doing the mission from the campaign where you have to hold your town against gargarensis army i've been hersir spaming with thor in multiplayer, i try to do a big boom, two town centers, 30 vills in food and 25 in gold, 4 halls and full spam, it's really good specially in mythic age with those armory upgrades

You maybe could have built fewer trolls and just placed another healing spring in the middle of the map this particular game. I'm not sure if its something to plan for or whether it's entirely worthwhile - but in positions where you're this far ahead, just sitting healing while gold starving is maybe better than anything else you can do with the favour in classical age.
Hey, I do eventually get a healing spring in the middle! I'm honestly not sure if it's worth spending so much favor on, but like you say, it's extremely useful!

poseidon is so strong, if you're vs a good player who goes 3:15 and microes well you're probably gonna have a rough time! I would still go for the same unit comp. Can also go semi FH and wall in the centaurs with Frost, but havent tried it myself, but I imagine it could work!
amazing intro, good work on that! im not a build crafter or anything but one thing i discovered, when not starting these kind of maps where you can lure a hippo / buffallo to the tc, i did a weird alternative version where i used gold mine god power, 1 dwarf would mine it, and the other 2 would chop a straggler tree sharing an ox cart with the hunt gatherers, giving me enough resources for copper shield and hammer of thunder as you are doing in the video sadly i lose god power early but boost me 1 dwarf in economy because most standard builds doesnt upgrade hammer of thunders. what do you think of this? :D
It's good! You pretty much get the same as I do here, but you have to use the dwarven mine godpower. This is why I keep saying that this is Thor home map, cause you get to do the OP build while saving your dwarven mine!
Yeah, Skadi can work too. I like the FW here cause I had a really big army, and that generally means that FW is gonna be super strong. Bragi also has upgrades to your hirdmen and berserkers which syunergizes well with the Forseti upgrades!
They have access to Freyja, so you can just mass raiding cavalry with medium upgrade and thundering hooves. They are good vs both centaurs and hippeus! If he goes hoplites instead of hippeus, you go hersirs + TA!
Yea it is wrong mentioned in the tooltips, Hall of Thanes give +15% speed to heros, so the textbox makes actually sense. great play, thx for the video!

Hey Suppe, I've been doing that build vs centaurs, but the real issue are the Poseidon centaurs which are 5.9 Base speed and have equally speedy hippeus that Bodyblock and slow down your heros even further . How do you deal with that ?
ye, poseidon makes things harder! They can even add the +10% movement speed from Spirited Charge. The good thing about facing poseidon is that he is slower to get started. He gets favor slower and doesn't start with 10 favor. So vs Poseidon you can maybe get away with doing a semi-fast heroic or something like that. You can then use Frost on his army and wall in the centaurs! idk, it's a tough matchup, and you are probably right that this is more useful vs zeus than pos.
I wonder if opponent could catch you off guard with full on hoplite+toxotes transition (with emphasis on toxotes) after his initial centaur + heroes poke, as you don't really have vision on his production buildings until pushing into his base (at which point you've made investment into hirdmen). Would full hersir still do well enough against that? I suppose those wouldn't be Hades toxotes, but still.
Hersirs with all these Thor upgrades are honestly not bad! They won't win vs hoplite toxotes, but then they are faster, so you can decide when to fight. And if you get heroic with FW they will win against hop+tox for sure!
you deal either hack damage or pierce damage, and then a certain % of that damage gets negated based on enemy's hack/pierce armor! Some units also have "divine damage" which negates enemy armor!
Is this strategy effective in Egypt as well? I always find myself countered by the god powers of Anubis, snakes, and mummies, and I lose the game at the Tier 3 Mixdol Fortress.
Yeah, I think this is good vs egyptian too! Hirdman actually counter all the migdol units, but obviously dies quickly to chariot archer. You will also need TA if he makes axemen...

Yes!! I did this in two games during my Red Bull qualifier run. Perfectly viable with Loki too.

Oh nice, thanks for bringing that up. I wasn't sure if Poseidon only boosted human cav only or if centaurs counted too.

to be honest, cease fire is so damn OP and strong! u can counter Fimbulwinter and Flaming weapons.
at least it's only 30 seconds, so you still get to have some seconds of FW for example :)

eggy priests are a good counter, but you need heroic age! Their range is way too low in classical imo
I think developers should add a feature when healthpoints drop below 20% wounded units move gradually slower the lower the health.
