I was more interested in how you got the switch out of the panel. I'm trying to get the whole panel free. Will the switch come out of the top of the panel somehow ?
@@clifdaniel4945 did you watch parts 1 and 2 ? The tractor had no switch when I got it. The switch comes out the back of the dash. Good luck, it wasn’t hard…
I'm having no start issue with my LX176, wish you were close by, no one yet can figure it out, tried another factory switch, new solenoid and still nothing. One minute it ran fine , then a friend put on a new drive belt and now nothing, any suggestions would be great, Thanks,, Mike
I got lost somewhere because there is no start to end conclusion. Coil, igniter, PTO switch, carb solenoid? What was it? I' not getting a spark from a spark plug.
You didn't show us anything other than starting the tractor. How did you get old switch out , if the connectors were not the same how did you interface the harness to the new switch, how did you put the new switch back into the panel ? Seriously.

Mover runs well however once I pull the pto switch out mover turns off. Blades don't move

Great troubleshooting of the LX172. Helped me out a lot with my 25 year old 172. Great instructional video.!

Good video,you should gave ohm ed out PTO clutch,may have started whole problem.
