      I don't think you truly understand! THIS is a classic! With a beastly 185hp under the hood and a limited production to like 1,000,000. lol Yeah, it is pretty ordinary but not too many junkyards have multiple Lambo parts in stock. Thanks for watching.

    Having owned 3 "prior gen" Grand Ams myself, (85, 87, and 94) I'm delighted to see that GM finally smartened up and simply used tape to adhere the body cladding to the doors. Those damn riveted-on retaining clips on the older gens were the bane of my existence way back when. By the time you saw rust bubbling up over the body cladding, it was too late to save the door skin!
    Also have never seen a 99-05 model out in the wild with crank windows!!

    • @vehcor
      @vehcor  5 років тому +1

      I know what you mean about the older generations, I had a few. These moldings didn't cause rust but also did not like to stay in the car. It took me a while to learn the tricks the factory didn't always get right. lol The manual windows only came on the SE and only the REALLY cheap ones. I never rebuilt one and only had one parts car with manual windows in the 300+ I had total. Thanks for watching.

I don't feel bad for them they choose to do it the quick & easy way instead of the right way. Sad part is they usually get away with it because the majority of the people don't knew its wrong. I had a few that the white paint didn't want to stay put. lol The return on investment is better than the expensive cars but people only look at the sale price. If you make 10k but invested 100k was it worth it? If I invest 1k and make 1k, it makes more sense. I could easily do 10 of these and make the same money in less time with much lower risk. Heck, most people could. Thanks for watching.

    I always thought thsee were great looking cars, I had a '99 Coupe for a while that I got right after I graduated back in '05, loved the car, but living in Florida, the interior plastics did not hold up well to the heat and that seemed to be a big issue with these and the Aleros, at least in warmer climates, not sure how they fare up north. I'd love to have another one as a work car if I could find one without a trashed interior down here. This one came out great, I love seeing these videos of "regular cars" being brought back to life.
