Hi guys! First of all thank you for this kind of videos, which help to explore possibilities of your devices. I bought mine device year ago exactly for academic research purposes. I'm pretty sure I'm not alone here. Unfortunately I couldn't manage to create a comfortable pipeline for me. I have to use laggy side Zotero app and an Obsidian app. First one because stock Boox reading app doesn't have features of Zotero app. And the second one because Boox note taking app doesn't have features of Obsidian app. It would be great if Boox would develop their own ecosystem to work both on Boox devices and PC. I really like your devices and looking forward to get an e-paper screen of yours for my PC. P.S. Sorry for mistakes - english is not my native language P.P.S. Yeah AI function is great on paper, but it really creates text that doesn't make sense
Hi! Please add the possibility to open 2 instance of note in Split View. For browsing and editing 2 different notes or for the same document. For example I’ll like to be able to write on “today page” on the right side of the screen, and be able, on the left side, to view the other day for migrating task quickly and easily.
Please provide the ability to chat with a PDF document and the ability to make OCR of the entire document. If needed, make a separate subscription for it. Thank you for your attention.
when can I expect next update on Tab Ultra C Pro? If possible, I like to see the most powerful e-ink black and white with very little ghosting, all the multitasking capabilities with reading apps and email apps such as Microsoft Outlook. No color is fine. lighter, firmer feel, with backlight, but very capable and versatile.
Please update the Note app with the infinite canvas option, as I am using another tablet for this function and it is uncomfortable to use it together with the Boox tablet. I would just like to use Boox.
Hi I have boox tab ultra, I am looking for an Italian-Italian Dictionary but I did not find it. Then I have a problem typing out the "è" in Italian. I don't know, if you could help me.
AI is for lazy people who do not want to do the work of reading through the paper themselves. Part of education is practicing critical analysis. And the devil can be in the details, no way do I let AI filter what I read. Especially after the censorship practiced by the younger generation and sanctioned by DC.
The Boox Note Air 3 has SD slot, and the Android ecosystem is plenty powerful. Running Windows on a tablet will affect the battery life by a lot compared to the current Android version.
I like the Boox Note Air3 but i will not buy it until you add these 3 things: 300 PPI, better pen with eraser, Super Refresh technology. Hopefully, these improvements come very soon in the next version, the Note Air 3 Plus?
Thank you for your suggestion! This is an advanced tip video with bite-sized introductions to features so you can gain a quick grasp of them! Please see our step-by-step tutorial list here: ua-cam.com/play/PL6pkMZp22UsDEx0k3rsoW6fONwzI5NovE.html
Scientific user here. (1) Please fix the Google Drive integration; (2) love the Zotero integration but it doesn’t always update/sync the annotations in PDFs when the file is closed; (3) please make a 13.3 version with Kaleido 3. I see that the Note Max is impending, but the screen on the Go is not as bright as I expected and color is important for the papers I read. I don’t really care about battery life and just want a device I enjoy scientific reading on more than my iPad.
I love your e ink tablets and their amazing uses however it would be great if you could create a more simple e ink tablet (key used just for reading and writing) . One that still includes a back light, and also just 2 other vibrant colours (like a red and green). With the idea of simplicity it would be great if the tablet can work more quickly, so no matter how fast you are writing the pad will keep up 👍
Advice on academic reading from a non-academic. from my comments below you begin to see that they have no idea what is actually involved in building a digital workflow in academia. We don't just read one or two, we need to build whole libraries of PDFs and multiple sources. Neo reader is dead in the water for this. I use paperpile on mine. It's okay but compared to the experience on a Samsung tablet, which also uses android it is night and day in terms of speed, responsiveness, and usability.

Just open a Developer SDK or API so that Zotero and Obsidian can be wired in via the global developer community.

Kudos for using some geology research papers! I’m just now finding the BOOX brand and looking to get into one of these amazing tablets.

Do you have special discounts for students in university?

The add page would good for texbook excercises. I would try this on a 7.8 inch one if they still have them.
Which tablet are you displaying in the video ?
Hi there, they are Go 10.3 and Note Air 3.

the ai function is so good. i might buy a new bigger version of boox tablets in the future
Why bigger? Isn't the Note air3 size not enough?
@@freman75 oops i mean i compared it to my boox lite
@@eieigo what do you like about the ai function?

Which PDF software has been used in the "Take Flexible Notes" section? Is this available in Boox Palma as well?
It's our native reading app NeoReader and it's available in all our models.
does this trick apply to note series
how about use AI to find the best matching setting?
How about translating 1 one from English to English?
When will they be a Boox 13.3 color or BOOX with an SD slot? Maybe a Boox with Windows OS
Or a Boox with Windows OS

@@dcpowered Thank you
How did you get to that menu at all?? I pulled up a pdf from my library but couldn't find any ai read function
I can't believe i'm followed by amberlynn at a boox video

Isn’t that the Tab Ultra C Pro?
will these tips work for boox note 3?
Yes, please update your device to the latest firmware to get the most out of your BOOX tablet!
Please make step by step using about the Tips and the future Tips. I only watch the Tips clip but don't know how to.

Please make a better case/keyboard cover for the ultra. For now it's just too big and the leather is very cheap.
Wish we had a battery as large as mini c on note air 3 c! Really don't get boox logic on that matter if it exists at all!
Note air3 has large battery
3c just drains battery faster for various reasons, refresh rate being a big one

The AI function sucks. It only makes up text without referring to the paper at all. 😅. I have tried it soon after watching this video.
But for reading scientific papers it will be good to have 13.3 size tablet not 10.3
You can try our 13.3'' Tab X: shop.boox.com/products/tabx
