This week I'm sharing a round up of our 7 best selling patterns of 2023, four of which I have actually sewn up myself! I've added links to all the patterns and fabrics I suggested below, but I've also linked to the videos where I shared my version of the patterns I made in a full video review.
The patterns are a mixture of indie patterns and big 4, dresses, tops and trousers and I've also picked out fabrics you could sew them up in.
I love looking back at what you guys have been making and it always brings some patterns to the forefront I may have overlooked, plus there are lots of patterns I am not surprised to see in the collection at all!

Thanks Lucy, lovely patterns and fabrics. I think I need to make up some dog walking clothes, I don't seem to have any other social events to wear those lovely dresses, although I do love making them ❤
I know what you mean, I spend a lot of time in leggings and a sweatshirt at weekends at sports clubs or walking! Did you see my Mile End sweatshirt video? That has been on strong repeat for my walks since I made it.
Thanks Lucy, lovely fabric choices and you’ve reminded me I have the Shelby, so inspired to revisit as I haven’t thought about a longer version.
I haven't made the longer version either and definitely need to give that view a try I'm sure I'll love it as much as the shorter version
Lovely fabrics and patterns Lucy. My favorites were the Shelby and Lois dressed. I haven't made either of those but similar - Simplicity 8875 views B and D and two blouses of McCalls 8067.

Hello Lucy, wow, what wonderful patterns. However I'm not suprised. In fact I have most of them. I have already made Simplicity 9595 wrap pants in a light weight cotton. They were such a quick make, wore them so many times during my summer holiday, just perfect. Also have made Ogden Cami several times. And I have patterns ready to make, the Shelby dress, Patina blouse and Tessuti Lois dress.... all fabulous patterns.

Great video Lucy as always,my favourite moment of the week. I have made the Patina but found the sleeves really huge, think someone described them as sails of a ship!! I had to adjust afterwards. Also made the Shelby which I will definitely make again. I think my favourite pattern you made last year was the summer dress with the cut out back, have the pattern but not yet made, sorry am away at moment so can't remember number etc but you inserted bra cups to avoid the 'hiding your bra strap' saga, great tip. Thank you for your inspiration

Could u consider doing plus size patterns best for 2023 please.
If you check out the video on your phone you will be able to see the links there's usually something that says 'see more' or 'more info' and if you click it, it will give you the full description and links. Unfortunately I can't filter the patterns to show me the best sellers by plus size so I'm afraid I can't do that, but I will continue to share plus size patterns in my videos and we are getting more and more of them now thankfully
I'm desperate to make the Lois dress but unfortunately it is not very size inclusive. It is just one size too small. I wish they would expand the size range.

I made the Tessuti Lois dress in a viscose crepe which looks great (I made bodice adjustments to reduce the cleavage as a lot of people did) and I’ve got the Pattina blouse cut out ready to sew.
I was looking at the Lois but was worried that it was too low cut for my liking. Be interested to hear how you altered this as it looks like an amazing dress.

Lovely patterns especially the Lois dress - but shame it's only upto size 16!

Do you sell patterns for a corset ? If you do how much and can it be delivered to South Africa ?
