He did not say it is the meaning of Bharma, Vishnu, and Shiv. Carl jung is very famous philosopher in the western world (even in other parts of the world). The video he made was for Western audiences. By comparing the understanding of Carl jung, western audiences can understand the gravity of the Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. He gave prospective to make others understand in a way that they feel easy. You even can not figure out the real meaning. There are prospectives only. Just like Vaishnav, shaivite, shaktas and other panths have different prospective on the Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh(Shiva). Thank you.

not really - if you spend enough time in the culture you can understand it - I think this argument id deeply flawed. (As I lived that argument and hence I'm claiming it), To me that can only be clamied by a person that never lived substantial amount of time outside of their own culture.

Hey Zuzana. You look great. I still remember reading Memories, Dreams & reflections by Carl Jung where he said "By that time I had read a great deal about Indian philosophy and religious history, and was deeply convinced of the value of Oriental wisdom… India affected me like a dream, for I was and remained in search of myself, of the truth peculiar to myself". He says that at that time he was engaged in an intensive study of alchemical philosophy and took a volume containing the principal writings of Gerardus Dorneus with him. He says that this European text provided a counterpoint to the “foreign mentality and culture. Both had emerged from original psychic experiences of the unconscious, and therefore had produced the same, similar, or at least comparable insights”. In this internet era, most people act or live according to seek attention or popularity of others. A correct word "Diplomatically". They fear of missing out if they will not gonna act in certain way that is considered being good by the societal norms. I feel like this harms one individual by not being themselves throughout our lives and that's where the most problems occurs of not being truly themselves. Love these kind of deep insights videos from you.

Love your comment. This is the types of videos that really bring me joy to be honest. I fully agree with you. I though thing the root cause of all the problems the more and more I observing is lack of love. Once you are loved and have a strong sense of self (which most people I dare to say don't as they don't seek the knowlege or find it hard to work on themselves) then you have much stronger sense of self. The internal locus of control is developed whereas a lot of people have external locus of control and need those external validation experiences. And source of all this (at least speaking for what I'm observing) is serving to the money god and just pure lack of spiritual development.

Now the western world has started accepting the fact that Shiva, Vishnu and Brahma and all the other gods including their energy(Shakti)/ultimate feminine as energies of the universe, which are the supreme controller of the universe, yes they are energies but they are also real beings! It is the small scale memory of humans so as to how far in time we remember events, our ancestors in India have always had a real connection with god not just in meditation but also in the real physical world. Even today Hanuman ji and other chiranjeeves are physically present on earth. Non-Believers are free to not accept it, cause we're not an abrahmic religion, take it or leave it. But I pray for you so that you can see the world beyond it's superficial physical dimension, they're is a whole different world.

I don't think most people are aware of this in the west. In the west it's more about spirituality - which can mean a lot of things. However, the spiritual community would understand there is one source and unierse what you call brahman - but you would have I think hard time convincing people about the trinity simply because you can from our point of view and I htink form yours as well connect directly to the universe. All in all, spirituality is on the rise but we also have our own origins and spiritual people individuals follow not necessarily always connected to Hinduism. And then there is of course people that are interested and want to know. :)

He is trying to potray deities as false. But how can it be so when there are hundreds of books written on them, millions of sages-saint having seen them/interacted with them, from ancient times till modern day.
It is to be understood that deities are energy forms and their iconography is actually how they preferred to show themselves to us in our visions. Deities can take on a wide variety of role for the spiritual seeker according to his needs - from being a local village guardian spirit to a full fleged devata to the transcendental parbrahm. Ex. shiva as a clan deity could be Lord Muneeshwarar, he can be SadaShiva with the popular form or be Parashiva like inarticulate brahman. This parallel can be found in other deity traditions as well. These traditions in India are path-based, backed by experience and are time-tested, they are not a one-man theory with no backing. Shaguna brahman (articulate, with quality and maya) & Nirguna brahman (inarticuate, without quality, no maya). According to saints, without grasping the Shaguna, its difficult to grasp the infinitely subtle Nirguna. Like from kindergarten, we gradually graduate to PhD. Isn't this logical?

here are my thoughts on the 3 gods in Sanatan Dharma
For me (how much I have come to understand till now from my understanding)
Shiva = is the god of Time or Time itself (that was always there, which can never die, which has transcended death or is death itself)
Vishnu = is the god of Space or Space itself (everything that exists, it exists because of space, untill it is destroyed by time. After destruction comes a new beginning)
Brahma = is the creator or creation within the time and space and is affected by it (the continuous cycle of creation and destruction as long as time and space exists)
Every scripture(granth as we call them) in Sanatan Dharma can be understood in 3 ways
    1. Materialistic way of understanding
    2. Spiritualistic way of understanding
    3. Divine way of understanding
All three aspects must be considered when reading any Sanatan Dharma granth(scripture).

      This 🙌
Finally a factually correct comment. The names and nature of God are self explanatory.
We say 'na adi na aant hai uska( He have no begging or end) for Shiva.
What else have no begining or end? The time.
Also, Indians believe that time is cyclic. Thus it's a perfect loop. So there is no beginning or end.
Brahma also dies and he is personification of universe.
Sanskrit word for universe is "brahmand" which is basically his name.
Vishu ji just stay in rest, as multiple universes. He is personification of multiverse. If our universe reaches it's life span, other universe still exist, and every time new universe is born(Brahma) at the same time there are infinite number of brahmas (universes) as mentioned in our scriptures. So there is no question of 'assumption' , it's clear as a day.
We also beleive that god is present in everything. That's cuz this universe is god.
That's also why atheism is part of Sanatan dharma.
As we say there are many ways to reach enlightenment. That is a perfect human being who realises that it's all matrix/maya. And everyone have to die , better do good deeds cuz 'karma'.
There are 2000 recorded cases of reincarnation. Hence all the beliefs comes true.
More I read about scriptures, more i start believing that being an agnostic was right idea.

I'd be curious to know how do you define and I think that's maybe conceptual question - atheist in India - since it's part of sanatan - which is broadly speaking spirituality - how does that work over there? I mean here when you say atheist it just means you don;t believe in God - mainly Christian God. However, I do believe in God (brahman) or the universe etc - do you consider that atheist or ?

I think the 'all you are mad' is a vast generalisation so that's not accurate. You really believe that normal people here in Europe care this much?
The superiority is another generalised comments and very very VERY deeply falwed. That just means you really don't understand how the 'western world works' and when I try to explain noone wants to listen. Hence, I'm not even going into this. However, it's an utter nonsense - surely there might be people that could ahve the complex like Americans and Briths but talking about it from Slovak perspective it's nothing but laughable. The thing is you need to realise and I speak for ordinary people - noone cares - noone wakes up in the morning and thinks - let me think about India and how superior I am to them! That's just utter nonsense.
I'm not accepting antying but things from my Slovak perspective - nation enslaved for 1000 years ( yes not only India) who western Europe looks down upon and who never colonised any country... so please next time you comment at least check what you are saying!

However, it all has to be considered and evaluated in context. i.e. what certain ears bring in -e.g. nowadays censorship is real and if you want share some knowlege you may think twice how you want to do it - maybe an option is not to disclose it as it will be rejected but - if yuo don't it gets high changes to be accepted. Nothing in the world is black or white.

@@zuzanareactsHe's correct though these small ideas that the west now potrays as if it's very new and wise is totaly false... These ideas had been discussed already thousands of years ago and when someone tries to take the credit for the idea that doesn't originate from him, it feels like a fraud and cheat... Newton discovered gravity and he gets the credit for it but if today someone comes and says see guys this is gravity and i found it, then what? And yeah Jordan peterson is nothing but a christian supremacist where he potrays as if the world started in west and will end in west.... He just steals ideas and adds some good english vocabulary to it, to make it look fancy for y'all westerners

@@zuzanareacts well, by stealing he means, giving those theories another shape like in today's world you give credit to the sources you've used. So what he meant is the mentioned guy didn't give the reference of his source of knowledge. Like yeah I know it sounds weird but you can see it today, specifically these things have started from the west itself, to claim the things they've given to the world.

@@zuzanareacts He has his opinions it's alright, he's free to interpret as he seems fit.
For me, it's different, I understand them from elemental cause-effect level and what Identity actually is (at elemental level, I'll explain). Before that ask, why Trinity have their feminine consorts for?
Like CRUD(Create, Read, Update, Delete) operations in a database, but it is at the end just a data, or an identity.
Brahma is the cosmic identity or organism of this Universe, and there are other Brahmas, too, I mean other Universes.
For me this Trinity, comes in 3rd stage distribution of the Ultimate Identity (Par-Brahma). I'll give hierarchy below.
Science already gave you the whole electromagnetic spectrum, right? That explains just shakti/matter. Sankhya yoga just gives 2 elements. One "non-element' (shiva) and " element/energy/matter" (shakti). This is Second stage, after Par-Brahma.
Third stage is Trinity, where shiv and shakti has to interact to take on a dualistic family identity, to create, sustain and ultimately dissolve the physically larger identities (society, Nation, Earth, Universe), thereby the Ultimate Yogi, manages it on autopilot by dividing itself into 3 such partner identities of both elements, to serve the purpose efficiently. So, each trinity has their own type of Shakti. (Sanatanis pls orient her on the feminine shakti consorts of Trinity)
To add, every Universe has there own Trinity.
It would be too long if I go more deep.
Just Fun fact: It divides in 0-1, 1-2-3-5-... and so on. It's popularly called Fibonacci series, but it's Bharat's credit. Here,
      0- non element
      1- element
With interaction of 0 + 1, the next 1 we get is alive 1.
5 is 5 elements.. And so on the material world we see, combination of fundamental elements.
Sanatanis, if you read & understood till here, make her doubts clearer. Thanks.
      Later.
