Great lesson. These kind of concept discussion lesson are fantastic for me. Also love the chord melody and swing lessons. Don’t stop promoting “rockabilly rebuild.” It’s the least one can do for their “musicianship.” More Cliff Gallup!! You got me walking around town whistling “Peg o’ My Heart”-certified dork here!! Discovering The Blue Caps in 2024. Who would have thought? Finally learned “Stray Cat Strut” over the weekend. Great discussion on that as well! You are the man!
Cheers Richard, really appreciate that! I was just thinking about my next video and had a brainwave, to discuss structuring a solo for the most impact! So it was nice to get your comment :) also working on another jazz chord fundamental course!
ADRIAN, I think Rockabilly used different techniques like "slip notes" , Rubbed Notes are out of key notes rubbing against the chord or scale, and the 6/9 pentatonic scale 1-2-b3-5-6. Look into these 3 things to make a video lesson about

Well done!
Nice video Adrian. Hope all is well Down Under. Good points. I think Blues hints at major and Rockabilly takes us all the way there.

Awesome video as usual! Is that a Compton bar bridge? Aluminum or titanium? I’ve been looking at those for my 6120.
