What 2 Handicap Golf Looks Like at a Ryder Cup Venue

- Join me in this epic golfing adventure to a Beautiful Ryder Cup Venue, Moortown Golf Club. Watch me traverse this incredible golf course, with gorgeous white bunkers, strewn around long undulating fairways and purple heather, and navigate past some of the most visually stunning par 3's in the UK, protected by some of the most insanely sloping greens!
Will a 2 handicap golfer even survive this adventure? Will I just melt into the abyss of golfing obscurity and card a cricket score? Watch all 18 holes to find out while listening to me chastise myself, giving you the run down on my thought process and each golf swing I make. Don't forget to like the video if you do enjoy, and subscribe to the channel so you don't miss another upload, with much more scintillating golf coming your way!

Huge fan of the helicopter finishes... And Tugatha Christie 😂😂😂
I'll take that as a win if you actually understand what comes out of my mouth 🥴
@@JonnyPlaysGolf Well I at least understand it... Vaguely 😂😂😂
😂😂😂
Helicopter driver swing on the B roll...brilliant Jonny 😂👍
Glad you enjoyed those! I swear they aren't on purpose! No idea what's going on 😂
Moortown = More please ☀️ ⛳️ 🤩
1 like = 1 prayer for my wife's jokes 🤣
Fingers crossed for the 'new time's Jonny 🤞🤞🤞
Thanks very much, always learning 🤓
Nice swing! Especially those irons. You are smooth in the hands -> true gravity
And your wedge of course .. hey man you got any quick tips how to stay connected and smooth? I mean, did u always swing like that? Did anything in particular help?
@@jctalbott2007 thanks that's very nice of you to say! I did a lot of work creating width while keeping a towel tucked into my left armpit to help me stay connected if that helps?
@@JonnyPlaysGolf I’ve heard about that before, yeah… what’s creating width mean though? Sorry
@@jctalbott2007 don't apologise, it's good, we all want to improve. The width thing is all about taking the club head away as far as I can from my body while still staying connected with my armpit as before. Essentially helps you hit longer without having to literally swing harder! Sorry I'm not the best at explaining
Great stuff! You’ve a great temperament. Love your putting rhythm even if they’re not all going in.
Thanks Thunderbear! Love the name! Unfortunately I would say my putting is the least consistent part of my game! Much like a lot of people it's sometimes good, sometimes 🤬 😂
@@JonnyPlaysGolf I can totally relate my man! 🤣🙈 Currently playing off 8 so would love to get down to your level. Would be really interested to get more insight into your course management in future videos 😃
@@Thunderbear10 awesome, I'm sure you will if you give it your best shot! I'd be happy to explain my course management stuff more but it is generally trying not to hit it in the 💩 and close to the hole 😂
Looked like millionaire's golf jonny. Not sure when you played it but course looked fairly good nick considering weather. Just need sharpening up. As for the helicopter swing .. as Arnie said .. get to da choppaaaaa
Like 2 weeks ago when the weather had started to improve, and yeah... It's normally very expensive so it's very well kept! 😂😂😂 I hope I made Arnie proud
This cleaning of the putting line at 21:50 looked very strange; the removal of sand or soil was not recognisable. No other loose objects either. So in what context did this happen? There was also a disjointed cut immediately afterwards.
The rules officials might get the impression that this was an illegal form of cleaning, which would be penalised with 2 strokes.
As I said...strange.🤔
Salutations des Caraïbes françaises. 🙂
It was sand from a bunker behind the camera that was being wiped away, you can see some further left of the hole! The reason behind the edit was just to remove some dead space between my playing partner clearing some sand and me actually hitting the putt. It was only a friendly match with friends anyway so no need to get the rules officials involved 👍 I hope that clears things up for you! Amazing, which island are you from exactly? I got married in St Lucia in March, beautiful place
@@JonnyPlaysGolf All good.👍 It was just a clarification of a rule question that came up while we (my wife, our 7 kids and I) were watching the video. As we all play golf intensively, including our youngest daughter who is just 5 years of age now, the clarification was of interest.😉
We are on Grande-Terre, Guadeloupe..
@@user-qe5xd9fv9v Wow that's incredible! Sounds like you have a lovely family, I got into golf myself because my mum and dad both love the game too 👍
