If you wanted to make a simple instrument like a screwdriver as complicated as possible, this sounds like a good way.
Hi, Alex! Yep. I can imagine a roomful of people crouched in front of computer screens desperately trying to find problems for their solution...
I personally hate the modern trend for 'smart' tools. Screens and displays? Software updates? Ridiculous. They're aimed at not-smart users and presumably sell by the million and end up abandoned at the back of a drawer after people discover just how unhelpful they are. Whizzy gadgets for little boys. Sigh.
The only thing I like about this product is that the manufacturers were 'smart' enough to include a very nice manual screwdriver with the techno-trash. ;-)
Thanks for sharing this video review of the your New Screwdriver.
What? A quad? How are you going to "Slope" that?
Hope you have a great Summer Andrew. Thanks for all your content this year.
Thanks David
Thanks for the Review. A bit pricey... IMO.
Bought a rechargeable Wowstick electronic screwdriver with 64 bits for under $30 at BG. Works great.
Super 👍Screwdriver
I have a less sophisticated one I bought several years ago from a local hardware store. As you pointed out, for repetitive operation they are very handy and like this one, can be used manually once stopped. I also find it great for getting into tight quarters where twisting one's wrist or turning by just my fingers is difficult. I also have an extension piece allowing the operation of the tool out where I have better control of it while reaching into tight spots. A great stocking stuffer for the hobbyist. Merry Christmas to you and yours.
With all do respect Andrew it looks really cool but I cant see $105.00 for a screw driver seems way over priced I could see $29.99 maybe definitely not 105 by the way the stm 32 chip is $4 and one of the most mast produced chips in the market. Lowes has them for $10.
I would rather buy a pnp wing kit for the same price lol
Merry Christmas!
👍😊 Also a Wow stick owner already - but agree that such gadget is very "use-fun" on the bench with todays toys ..
I like it. Thought about ordering it but it is pretty pricey.
Lowes $10 no old screen to tell you hi though lol
@@jcfpv3454 Ooooo thanks!
Thanks for Andrew Newton Great review and testing.
nice but to pricey
Price is over the top for me cause for 100$ I get an 18V Bosch system - and a wow stick from Banggood - at least here on sale.
All the other stuff here on the channel is really budget friendly to get into that hobby but his tool is far beyond that.
And the discount does not really help cause 10% brings the price down below 100$ but that is also without customs and VAT which would bring it up to 120$.
No way, better a wow stick and another plane or AR Wing Pro ... than 120$ for such tool.
Wowstick does the same and comes with all those bits and pieces but might have a bit less torque which is quite enough to work on foam models but might be not enough for such drones.
anyhow: good video --- unfortunatelly about a tool I now know that I will never need it.
I don't need one but now I want one!
If only it opened all locks, repelled Daleks etc 😀
Haha, it does have the Sonic Screwdriver vibe
nice... wonder if this will replace the sonic screwdriver lol.... i would have thought that they would have made the case a little wider so that you can store the screwdriver and the bits in the same case. i'm forever losing the case with my bits in lol
Harbor Freight in the states (not sure if they are Global), has a nice little cordless screwdriver plus bits for under $10. It works really well. "19-In-1 Compact Cordless Screwdriver Set"
Sonic screwdriver
Looks like a lightsaber!😃
So you get pains in the wrist while screwing??? Sorry I couldn't resist. Thanks for the great review.
Haha, I shall say no more
does it tell you the amount of torque it outputs?
No information
$105, I think not!
Who would have thought you would have to update the firmware on your screwdriver one day.
Right, hey what's wrong with it oh its running the old screw driver firmware lol
..so that in V2 you can have "vape" function added .. 😉🙃
This would work for someone with arthritis.
Still need some dexterity to push the little button then twist in the desired screw direction. It might help but not perfect.
Is that soldering iron a ripoff ts100???
More likely to be same product with different branding
When China copies China... Are the bits any as good as the Wiha originals?
hi there i have SEQURE SQ-ES126 Mini Electric Screwdriver just i was working
with and just stopped nothing in the screen black but when
i connect the computer and press a key it show DFU:3.44 and the filles open
and just 3 filles .fseventsd .Trashes ._.Trashes i did attach pics of screenshots
so i think its need to be re flash with the original hex file i
look everywhere i can find it so can you send me the hex file for it or please can you share the
files from your Screwdriver because i thinks the files in my Screwdriver is corrupted …thanks
Cant upgrade versions earlier than V1.3, Mine is 1.1 and only has a config text file on the Mass storage. Have to contact SEQURE for help
🔥❤👍
A screwdriver with firmware updates... we're literally screwed if the power ever cuts out.
Crazy, imagine if the Cloud was hacked
@@AndrewNewton No more rain!
Buy a box of screwdrivers, Andrew yours're going into blatant marketing. no one needs an electric screwdriver!
I'm only a smooth and squishy woman, so I know not whereof I speak when I say that this device could possibly be adapted to make a handy male-grooming nasal-hair remover.
Twist 'em up an' yank 'em out by the roots.
Painfully manly? Not really, because a real man wouldn't be worrying about removing a few stray hairs in the first place.
Not a very 'smart' application of the device, I admit - but I'm betting it wouldn't half (smart and) make your eyes water.
Take it easy, Satan.
Cheap garbage not even straight , stick to the original miniware ES drivers and the original Xaiomi wiha drive and bit set.
