@@CoasterNerdzz Didn't ride it + already knew + stop trying to make me look bad EDIT: I'm going to cedar point in 12 days, and YES I am riding it..... have you forgot about top thrill 2?
I haven't been to Cedar Point since 1992. 32 years. But I loved Cedar Point every year back then. I'm going to take my kids maybe next summer. Great vid.
Absolute banger park, as a Michigander I usually try to make it down there once a year or so but its been a while since ive been able. Will definitely have to make it next year to check out the new sirens curse and hopefully top thrill 2 if they ever get it going. Magnum is definitely getting rougher with its age but the airtime is still second to none, I have always had a soft spot for Valravn too. The way the track makes a script Ohio when walking up to it is one of the most unique coaster designs out there it just makes the engineering side of my brain smile
As of writing this, I went to Cedar Point yesterday. I am pretty afraid of roller coasters, but I think I did good. I first went on the Iron Dragon, Then the Cedar Creek Mine Train, after that I went onto the Wood Stock Express, then finally I went onto the Wild Mouse ride. Besides that, I went on some other rides, like the Tiki Twirl, and the Troika. I played some games, and almost rode the Gemini. Sadly, we ran out of time before i could ride it, and the park was closing. Overall, I had a really good time at Cedar Point, and I think almost anyone who goes there will too.
Gemini was marketed as the tallest, fastest, steepest roller coaster when it opened in 1978. I worked in the park in 1980, and I rode the Blue Streak on my way to work every morning! The Blue Streak was pretty rough last time I rode it, but the Gemini is still a great ride. I introduced it to my kids in 2006, and they loved it, too. Now that it's not the premier coaster in the park, the lines are short -- you can ride it again and again.

5:51 I got to ride Mantis. And when I came back I rode it as Rogarou (but it still had the Mantis paint job). The stand up was vastly better. 10:05 Yeah, Magnum is as old as I am I believe. I rode Mean Streak before it was Steel Vengeance. I thought it was the best wooden coaster in the park. 13:00 NO! You forgot my favorite or? How dare you. Gatekeeper is THE best coaster that was there when we went last.
I went on Aug 22nd and got on every coaster except rougarou and TTD (closed). I was with my kids so even got on wilderness run. It was so dead I got 3 rides on gatekeeper and millennium force. Felt blessed to have gotten so lucky.
@@kuba101 school went back the day before and it was a Tuesday. I'm canadian and school goes back 2 Weeks later. I have been 3 times before and it was never even close to that dead.
See, if I were doing all of them for a review I’d probably do smallest to biggest. So the excitement builds. I’ve been twice. First one I ever rode was Millennium Force. Big mistake riding that on 3 hours of sleep. But it got me pumped for the whole day. I took my itinerary from a book of rollercoasters and it said which ones to hit at what time of day for the shortest lines.
I agree, smallest to biggest is a good idea, I'll keep that in mind. 3 hours of sleep is crazy haha, glad you went on Millennium Force first it definitely gets the adrenaline pumping. Smart that you did some research, lines are long even on the "quieter" days.
@@kuba101 it said “Millennium Force has barely any line first thing in the morning, so go there as soon as the park opens.” I think it said something about going on Raptor last because people usually don’t ride it at night.
