1. Dunkaroos (Commercials starting here are from 5/31/94)
2. Promo for "Power Rangers" and "Who's The Boss?" (I get that they're technically promoting both shows here, but I can't imagine Saban would have been thrilled to hear that some affiliate was using their characters and literally putting words in their mouth to promote another show)

the human brain is crazy, just knowing i've actually devoted space and neuron power to maintaining the memory of that peanut butter crunch commercial for almost 30 years fills me with awe at its capacities
That Bad Boys Andy Griffith commercial was just brilliant…
Yeah, it reminds me of the Bad Cops song from The Simpsons: ua-cam.com/video/20mBi8-QsSc/v-deo.html
Um, both are obviously parodying the theme song from "Cops"

John Walsh really did amazing work
Yep and he got his own show it's called the hunt
Man I miss the old days 90s !!
I find it hilarious that this affiliate dubbed over Power Rangers footage that already dubbed over the original Japanese dialogue.
That push pop music commercial was outdated even in 94😂. At best that commercial was a better fit for 91 or 92. 😭
1994’s live action Flintstones movie is one of those films that got a lot of hype, but faded not long after. I do remember going to see Jurassic Park on opening night in 93 the year before, and there was a teaser trailer for the Flintstones that was just a sing along of the show’s theme song. Many in the audience did indeed sing along.

This is the teaser trailer you're talking about.
I definitely remember seeing this before Jurassic Park also.
I've only seen it twice, but it was a memorable movie. I think it captured the spirit of the cartoon really well.
00:24 I remember watching who’s the boss and dear John after morning cartoons for a while it was 60’s shows after morning cartoons bewitched, I dream of genie, gilligans island, Mr.Ed, and Perry Mason I have never lost my love of 60’s shows the energy of a time I didn’t live in this life it’s amazing
Hidden Treasures... why yes I believe I _did_ have that as a kid! Thanks for the memory.
Flintstones Action Figures- Seeing that "Big Mouth Fred" action figure eating the rack of ribs looks like nightmare fuel.
Cinnamon Toast Crunch- Who knew that after so many years of baking the Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal, Wendell the Baker decides to dabble into being a mad scientist?
Peanut Butter Crunch- The plot of this commercial would be fitting for a horror movie for kids, I think. Zombies are invading a town and the kids try everything to stop them until in the end, all they needed was some Peanut Butter Crunch cereal.
The Cinnamon Toast Crunch commercial was my favorite growing up. Wendell was insane. LOL
Thanks for the memories!
Oh man, I had completely forgotten about Dunkaroos until clicking this video...not even sure if I ever actually ate them, but I have a distinct memory of that commercial buried in my subconscious.
They still sell them! I have a box in my house
@@Melissa2087 I think we may have had them….once. My parents never really went in on the newer, pricier snacks like Gushers etc. - if they were like other snacks marketed towards kids they were probably ultimately not nearly as tasty as they appeared…except Gushers, traded for those a few times and they were good….unwholesome but good.
I wish they had made that commercial about “touching” in Spanish bcs I hated it as a kid. I know that it was meant well but god, did I find it excruciating.
The unnamed military company in the Devry commercial is Boeing.
I feel sorry for the kid who ended up getting a Rosie O'Donnell figure for their birthday. Talk about nightmares.
Power Rangers has a poor taste in tv shows. Who's the Boss ugh. Tony Danza was better in Taxi and Katherine Helmond was better in Soap.
I always wondered how John Goodman made time to film the Flintstones movie while doing Roseanne. Flintstones movie was my first exposure to Hallie Berry.
So many people forget about South Central. I loved that show. Me and my friend who lived across the street from me still talk about it. Very surprised to see a promo for it.
15:45 I didn't know Squidward did VOs too lol
He voiced the Chief in the show.
Who's bright idea was it to make toys of the live action versions of the Flintstones? Heck, who's bright idea was it to make a live action movie out of it in the first place?! The only thing I liked about it at all was the Dictabird (which is most likely because I'm a Harvey Korman fan, but I digress).
I agree the movie was pretty forgettable, creatively bankrupt and probably one of the best examples of a soulless cash grab from that period...but it *did* grab cash for everyone involved. It grossed $130 million domestically and nearly $350 million worldwide.
I remember having one or two of the toys and they did freak me out a bit haha! I did, however, love those mugs that McDonald's sold during the release (same with Batman Forever).
In my market, they used to air a promo that was , I kid you not: a crossover between Power Rangers and The Wonder Years. They actually edited the shows together so it looked like Kevin Arnold was dreaming up episodes of MMPR.
KDAF with another INTERESTING promo this time for The Andy Griffith Show?!?! Gotta love the 90s.
And all the DEVRY ads during the kids block, geez!
The Cinnamon Toast Crunch lightning bites at 8:32 caused the girl's scrunchie to fly away after one bite. I know I'm weird here but here's some dialogue I made up:
The scrunchie: "What did she just taste? Yikes, I'm outta here!"
Lightning bites: "Tamed curly hair is out. Time to make this girl's curly hair run loose, and monster wild! Here it comes, WOOO!" (girl's curly hair is loose, electrified, and monster huge!)
Great vid
SUSHI??!?
Back then, it was a joke. Now after IHOP's "International House of Burgers" marketing fiasco, I wouldn't be as surprised if they were crazy enough to attempt sushi...
5:59 - 6:49 Smart man. Plus, kids shouldn't watch this with an adult.
Cops-still cleaning crack off the streets to this day
Power Rangers/Who's The Boss-i'd like to imagine a crossover where they made Samantha and Jonathan honorary Rangers
A Message From The Power Rangers-Netflix's new"Once A Ranger" special coming next month
Totally For Kids PSA-atill waiting for that Mac & Me sequel,Jade
