That last song sounds familiar because its the same melody as the into. Basically we get this water down version as the intro that sounds like its building up to something epic but it cuts off and goes straight into the next song. However, the epicness we were all expecting comes at the very end. Best track of the whole album. really ties everything together.
Commenting before I watch… god I can’t wait to see his reactions. One of the greatest metalcore albums ever created, Brian and Chris know how to write songs man
Such an amazing album. I love that they also put out the instrumental albums. I love to just jam to pure chugs whilst driving. Got a 300-strong playlist of metal guitar playthroughs too :D
This was my introduction to currents and it got me hooked, what a great album. I will say if you haven't yet, definitely check out "the place I feel safest" it's a couple years older than this album but I actually prefer it after a couple listens
Bro you need to show him the new album this is so cool seeing you an your brother be cool to see you an him do some other reactions bro together an do the death we seek song from them to these guys are legends an get some currents merch to
If you think about it, Kill The Ache and Let Me Leave talks about depression. At least that's the way I relate to those songs. And Monsters, at least some lines, may be about exploitation in capitalism, and about the fact that workers, despite giving up their time, their physical and mental health, etc., at their workplaces, capitalism returns nothing but misery.

im almsot certain that the intro riff to better days is a variation of the riff from never there and thats why he thought it sounded familiar!
