I changed out my stock exhaust on my 2016 kx450f for an FMF Factory 4.1 rct slip on aluminum exhaust. Just wanted to show the sound difference between the two.
Kawasaki's have so much engine chatter! They sound like a pressure washer that hasn't had an oil change is a decade. My 2015 crf250r motor internals are silent compared to my 2015 kx250f. Nice bike but you should have gotten the 17 !!!
I'm not talking about the noise coming out of the exhaust... i'm talking about the actual noise from the engine internals (valve train, piston, crankshaft, etc). I own a 2015 kx250f & 2015 crf250r both bought brand new and my Honda motor is silent compared to the Kawi. The exhaust noise from the KX is awesome though, they come stock with the megabomb header and aren't all corked up like CRF's

I didn't notice any loss in top end power but there was a noticeable gain in bottom end

Yeah for sure, there is definitely more bottom end. I carry 3rd through most corners now
