C919: Flying Junk? Even Vietnam Won't Touch It!
Вставка
- Опубліковано 27 лип 2024
- China's C919 aircraft, heavily promoted by the Chinese government as the first completely "domestic" plane, actually has poor quality and frequent issues. Most of its main parts come from the US, and it hasn't received airworthiness certificates from Europe or the US.
Recently, Vietnam Airlines faced a shortage of planes due to engine maintenance problems, causing a spike in domestic ticket prices. During a shareholders' meeting, shareholders asked if Vietnam Airlines would consider buying the C919 to address the shortage. According to Vietnam News, CEO Le Hong Ha said they are closely watching the C919's progress in getting global airworthiness certification. Currently, only Chinese authorities have certified it, suggesting Vietnam Airlines is not considering purchasing the C919 yet.

How about Flying coffin Boeing 737 max..??
@@holycrapski 😂🤣😅
Made in china??Think Million times😅😅😅
Damn, are they getting the rejected Boeing parts to build the plane
Boeing parts are generally fine.
A door falling off has been turned into a mountain by the media.. the question is, "why?"
@@matthewmosier8439 Well, it's not only a matter of a "door". Please keep in mind that just yesterday: "Boeing has agreed to plead guilty to a felony fraud charge and pay a new fine in connection with two 737 Max 8 crashes that killed 346 people in 2018 and 2019, the U.S. Department of Justice said in a court filing on Sunday night".
@@fabferrari Yeah, but those crashes likely would not have occured had the pilots been Western trained.
The dirty truth is that the men were not as experienced and the regretable crashes occured because of that. A similar incident/incidents did not result in a crash due to the response to the problem.
Also, the issue itself was software, not parts related, I'm pretty sure.
@@matthewmosier8439 I agree with you that we are facing a typical case of "Swiss cheese model" of accident cause. It's also a matter of fact that from the engineering standpoint the design concept was stretched way too much and it was used an "electronic trick" to overcome the technical issues. The lack of training was also part of the Boeing responsibility. In fact the investigation of the U.S. Department of Justice proved that Boeing advertised the new airplane as not needed to extra training for the pilots.
@@HungPhamVan-ir6dt another delusional person. Who in their right mind would use anything from Boeing. Boeing is responsible for a number of accidents that cost the lives of hundreds of people and could have been avoided. News flash, China had nothing to do with it. This was all through the incompetency from Boeing. Look for another reason to trash talk the Chinese aircraft. Using Boeing is redundant as Boeing is now a dangerous manufacturing company. Only there for profits.
They could call it C911!
@@tonythai5991 is that a Chinese Porsche?
That's what you get when you buy your airplane on temu😂😂😂😂
Fly like a billionaire 🤣🤣🤣
I know the doors in Boeing aircrafts can be ripped off after flight, but an airline that's made in China has a lot of red flags popping out of it
Xi would rather fly on boeing than c919 🤣
Exactly 😂
@@chinesesparrows That is correct, he uses a Boeing 747-400 and he allowed North Korean Kim Jon Ul To use it to fly to Singapore for a meeting with then president Donald Trump about 4 years ago.

even the chinese politburo and Xijing pi never fly this chinese planes..
Of course not!
Oh, hell no. I won't even buy a bicycle made there.😬
A Chinese plane……..umm, no.
In which planes does the CCP and state officials fly abroad? If these are not the planes thatChina itself produces, then there is something seriously wrong with them.
With copied, stolen and borrowed parts and design.....no way I'd take a chance flying in it
@@davehue9517 yes, but no not really its like drop shipping items its just old parts that western companies sell, like the LEAP-1C engine which is just a dumbed down version of the LEAP-1A found on newer A320Neos and 737max, it has more in common with the CFM56-5B which is like 90s tech
The FAA can't even inspect Boeing to guarantee a safe product, so what chance do they have with a Chinese company?
China is like that kid boasting about having built his own original Lego creation after following the instructions.
I wouldnt fly on one. Boeing may have ssome ongoing issues but the amount of planes Boeing have flying internationaly and daily with jo issues ever speaks for itself.
I wouldnt trust newer models from boeiny
Haha … DEI HIRE … The DOORS FLY OFF 50,000 ft. HIGH … STILL LAUGHING
If even 1 part on this plane is made by the same companies that makes Chinese EV's, it is a death trap .
i dont care what certifications they end up buying, i will never fly on a chinese plane
Made in China, Chineseum, Tofu plane, Boeing knock-off
Vietnam: C919 is truly a “Beautiful Suicidal Machine”!
Flying coffin from china free ride
Tufu Dreg Airlines, who in their right mind would even consider flying in one? Just take a look at their famous BYD electric cars, no quality in materials or workmanship. BYD ( Burn Your Driveway) lost ten dealerships in China in the last 3 years due to their EV batteries going into thermal runaway and destroying everything. Would you really want to fly in the C919? 👎😳

United tire just Fell Off But Don't worry they found it..
No, they learnt from the Boeing mistakes and tried to improve the design.

Bet, even Temu wouldn't distribute the C919 because it's too scammy 😂😂
Flying coffin.

Temu Airlines! 😅
And the way I understand it, all of the parts on an airplane are rather important. So if 15% of them fail...
Ryanair flights gonna get cheaper. But it’s the last flight you’ll ever take…

C919 sounds like Covid September 2019.. C 9/19

it is not true that C919 components are mostly from U.S. and Europe because most parts and component of C919 is not compatible to western system including electronics and metallurgy, China now has the best ALUMINIUM ALLOYS ever produce compared to western countries, China's aluminium alloys use in COMAC C919 are 4x stronger and 2x lighter than the west can produce, even China's tensile steel are 2x stronger and .5x lighter than the western metals

That’s a myth . That’s what the westerners thought about japan before the war . If China can send people to space and bring them back, have space station , fantastic infrastructure which the west can only be jealous about etc.etc What quality do you want ? China makes products to suit your price ..consequently the quality is for the price you pay . Vietnam Airlines rather buys Airbus A320neo
VN ain't dumb. Lol.
The FAA won't certify the C919 that easily.
how is boeing now brother..? ha.ha..ha..
“Even” is not necessary here. The Vietnamese populace are among the most skeptical of China in the world so any airline in Vietnam operates Chinese-made planes, they will likely face a boycott so the airline bosses know it.
The one thing you can't cheap out on is planes. Boeing knows. Ask them how it turned out.
I would still rather fly in a Boeing than any Chinese built airplanes.
No fan of communist China here, but its ironic how China becoming an assembler of aircraft with parts outsourced from other nations is a big issue but western nations doing the same thing with parts from China is perfectly fine.
Yk how it is, irony at its finest, although ig it’s because if 100% Chinese made parts, which can get a bit sketchy😅compared to maybe 50% 50%. Also idk about the quality inspection there in China, but I’m not really trusting it with previous situations, although 100% of it can be said about Boeing too.
Easy. Basic cheap parts are less sophisticated than complicated devices and systems.
Outsourcing cheap parts to cheap labor markets made sense.
Sorry, no irony.
Looks like a 1959 DC-8
Would never fly on tofu dreg airliner.
The China C919 airliner is a “FLYING JUNK” riddled with serious flaws mechanically, reliability, maintenance factors all impacting safety. Airworthiness obviously is of highest priority which DOES NOT EXISTS today in China.
Oh my. Back down to just one airworthy. SWEET! What a great win for China! One of SIX still flying. That's almost 17%!
(17% is a passing grade in China.)
As a Vietnamese, i would confirm that vietnam communist goverment don't have enogh money to buy, we are run out of money and have a lot troubles with debt too.
It's kinda sad to hear that. Hopefully your country's situation will turn better soon. Anyhow, I last heard that the VA's financial situation is close to bankruptcy. Is that right?
I hope, even if they had the money, they would consider value for money and safety issues which Chinese crap tends not to provide. These planes will probably spontaneously burst into flames like some of their EV cars.
Tofu cannot maintain its integrity above 10k feet 🤣
to be fair, comac is not really looking for a foreign market as their main task is to fulfill the Chinese domestic market which is already the second largest after the US. all these Europe and US certifications are just to boost their own prestige that their airplane is as good as Boeing and Airbus.
Tofu dreg aircraft 100%
Boeing is bad enough... but no way would I trust my life flying a piece of cobbled-together Chinese tofu. 😬
Airbus produces three times as many narrow body commercial airliners in a month than COMAC has produced in 9 years. That’s pretty much all you need to know.
And how old are both companies 'Mr arm-chair expert'? Aibus-1970; COMAC-2008 with several EUropean countries involved. with Some of them pioneers of Avaiation (ie over 100yrs experience), Took 4yrs to produce first their Aircraft
COMAC-2008- China alone , little or no experience, first prototype -2015, maiden flight-2017. With your country and its lapdogs sparing no efforts to sabotage their progress, You being one such example of spreading false rumors and misinformation. Make no mistake! They'll get it eventually. It may be new to you, but you Americans stole all your Rocket and jet engine technology from the Germans after the second world war. They were light years ahead of every body in Rockets and jet engines. only the Brits came a bit close. Though they will have us think otherwise, Their first jet fighter , the Gloucester Meteor could not be trusted to make it over the Channel to France and back until the end of the war!
If Xi "Winnie Pooh"Jinping goes on a grand tour of Asia and Europe flying only on the C919, i'll consider it fit for passenger transport. And we all know the Atacama desert will flood before Mr Pooh does that.
made in china ? End of air travel 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Why do I have a lack of confidence in an utterly conventional small airliner that's taken 16 years to develop? And has two groundings on the first plane due to defects.
Made in china pirates low quality😂
🙂 look up in the sky it's a bird it's a plane no it's a flying junk from china 😅😂🤣😭

Even some body offered me everything full sponsored travel by C919 CCP's plane..i will definitely refuse the offer and never gamble when my life is at stake???😢😮
Only if Xi flies in it around the world then i will believe it flies. Lol.
Tofu Dreg 919
If the Japanese and Mitsubishi can’t build a viable commercial airliner why do the Chinese think they can do it?
Mitsubishi spent billions trying and ultimately failed.
They should label it as Assembled in China.
COMAC succeeded in creating the C919 by copying Airbus's 30 year old second gen A320 homework and simply changing the name on it.
Couldn’t pay me to fly on that copied 2nd rate ‘made in China’ plane… a disaster waiting. 1/3 of the fuel efficiency as every other plane in its claimed class? Nooooope.. something is wrong with it.
Boeing dosen't look that bad now.
Maybe i've been a bit harsh with them.
At least Boeing has the FAA that punishes Boeing for their safety lapses.
Very risky investment. It's like buying a problem.
If Boeing is having a hard time building planes awwww hell naaaa am i getting on a chinese plane
Like most if not all Chinese products absolute garbage.
Why choose a plane that has even fewer parts in stock and fewer people trained to maintain it? makes no sense.
There is no way I would ever fly on that plane. It has to be a Chinese deathtrap.
I expect China to find a way to pay off whoever is doing the inspection and verification.
That's exactly what I was thinking too, or else they'll try to somehow blackmail the inspectors.
CHINA MADE KITE😂😂😂😂
U R ON THE TREE
This plane will never be certified by the EASA.
Like their super-duper aircraft carrier, this craft is full of techology dating back 25+ years ago.
China's aircraft carriers almost caught up with US technology... from WWII.
Up to Vietnam, whether they want to buy/lease this plane, or not ? And China has been assembling B737s & A320s for some time now, also the C919 is approximately 50% foreign-parts, this is by-no-means 100% Chinese-made, despite what they might wish to project. Airbus & Boeing took several decades to reach their current dominant positions in the industry.
Man this I just a knockoff Airbus, this is no better
Which part of C919 is made of reinforced bamboo, does it have toilets or people just relieve themselves on the aisles.
😂
Hey now, they have restrooms. It's a hole in the floor that you squat over.
They sell gutter oil dumplings before the people relieve themselves.
it's an Airbus A-300 series copycat with substandard quality
It’s actually a McDonald’s Douglas plane that they started to set up in the china and after Boeing bought them, they deserted the plant and left all the tooling for the Chinese to absorb and they still couldn’t get it right😂😂
yes of course, cheaper and poor quality, i m not wondering about that. Made in China 😅🤣😇
Unlike 737 max it hasn’t fall off the sky
Plane looks like a one-to-one copy of Bombardier CSeries CS300
I wonder what would have been the name of the Bombardier CSeries if the program was bought by COMAC. Maybe C909-100 (for the CS100) and C909-300 (CS300)?
Guys that plane is not what everybody thinks it is... there so many western parts and I'm not even talking about the engines and it's still shit
