I returned a Lenovo Yoga 7i machine recently because though Lenovo products are great, this machine was not up to my standards, battery life in my opinion was poor for a new machine, and I only got 4 hours--navigating, checked out a few videos and emailing, etc. But my intentions were to use the machine to its fullest, and I tested each day and got the same results. Also, the NIT on this machine was marked as 300 but the display was very dim. I compared this display with my 4-year-old HP Spectre 360 convertible, and my HP was twice as vibrant as the Yoga 7i. The processor on this machine was great, the audio was great, the keyboard was very nice, and the touchscreen was awesome. But as I mentioned, I have high standards and even with the discount, I paid a lot for this machine. It was not worth it to me to keep it.
I wasn't lucky with my Yoga 7i. The writing experience is very bad, it misses a lot of lines (I have a video demonstrating it in my channel). It went for assistance twice, they changed the screen twice, I bought a new pen, and the problem persists. It also heats a lot and the fan turns on a lot. And the bottom frame between the hinges is a bit loose, when I press, it makes a cracking noise and seem it's going to open. For 2 months, I've been trying to get a refund or exchange... but Lenovo assistance won't let me. But honestly the heat and the not so solid frame don't bother me that much, in general it is a good computer for this price... if only the pen worked fine, I wouldn't complain.
I just bought yoga 7i in march its literary mind blowing you can just cant go wrong with the yoga series if there are any questions regarding the laptop I am happy to help 😊

@@navjotkaur74810 yea i think it could be a good choice I attended 4-5 hr classes with my camera on on was doing editing at the same time and the fans were not at all hearable plus i think Lenovo provides you best keyboard as compared to others in this price this is my opinion i have 7i and my cousin has macbook pro Lenovos keyboard is better then mac which could help in coding plus Lenovo’s stylus has better responsiveness and better comfort then hp which could help in note taking
@@makarathan you should check both the laptop in an offline store i also wanted to buy hp at first but the keyboard and trackpad were disgusting as hell and the laptop didn’t looked like that it would last for years,but thats just me the ports are not a big deal for me they give you a connector with the laptop which has hdmi,usb a etc.i also have bought a small extender of type c to type a but I hardly use it
Those extra 22k will bring intel latest cpu for better single core performance and stability 2 thunderbolt ports 2 usb 3.2 gen 2 faaar better screen and sound quality (webcam is shitty) and glass trackpad ... Still flex 5 better deal

I have a small issue, always a little warm on the bottom. Is it common for an i5 processor of 11th Gen? I never observed an i5 7th gen 7200u processor. Please make it clear.

At 74 Celsius, the notebook is running fine as intended. My HP Omen, in contrast, can hit 95 degrees Celsius or slightly higher during high work load which is considered normal and operating within normal parameters according to HP.

I took Lenovo Flex 5 last year. Huge disapointment. Wifi connection is not stabile, the mucrofone sound is not clear, integrated camera also gives unclear shoots and over the top the touch screen broke after scarse use and I am having problems with reparatiin. Mine ex HP Envy was far better

Hey, maybe top Lage, but with the smaller Version you can't Upgrade the RAM later on, thus If you wanna Go for some Video edit i would recommend 16gbs
