It needs alot of water it's not established enough and it's roots are shallow so they are frying. Needs mulch too

What you need to do is invest in 1 or 2 100’ hoses and water it for approximately 10-15 min. 🤦🏻♂️

my little gem did, but it is doing better in the landscape. I am near 5/6 growing zone ne ohio. I protect my trees but it is probably overkill
