Always looking forward to your videos! This is how everyone should do gear demos
Your Hendrix-style clean riff at about :50 was SWEET! Thanks! :)
The riff is “Yellow Ledbetter” by Pearl Jam if you’re interested in hearing the song.
@@dalefleenor_ poor guy!
McCready's take on Hendrix🤣
these Joyo Bandamps are very good value for the money, the best part about them is the type of speakers you can run these on.
they took a page out of Orange's playbook when they came out with these.
there's so many different one's you can choose from,
now if your someone trying to get a band started, i don't know how well these would do in a live situation next to a drummer or in a recording situation.
but if your someone that just needs an amp for home use, these will suit most people just fine.
now to get the most out of it, you will need some speakers. i recommend 8, 10, or 12 if you can afford a 12. but even 8 will work fine for home use.
Got the zombie and jack. Did a outdoor gig with both thru a 4x12 marshall cab. It was ok. At reheashall, it just wont do it. Cant boost for solo.
Great video n great mini amp , but I prefer the Joyo Meteor which is a clon of Orange ... ✌💯
I have one mounted on my pedal board. I removed the handle and velcro'ed the foot switch on top. I also have a Bluejay and yes, pound for pound these are the best mini amps going. All those features and an incredible price point.
The tube is easy to get at if you want experiment. I tried a few and settled on an Electro-Harmonix 12AX7 that seems nice and smooth.
5 Stars!
Thanks for the vid and work you put into it! Is the effects loop pretty or post gain/distortion?
FX loop is good. I believe It's post preamp distortion 👍
Great yellow leadbetter
Could you start doing comparison of pedals on few different amps? Like two british style, two american style amplifiers for one pedal, it would be awesome to see it in your kind of demonstrations. They're really valuable source of knowledge, with great formula. Would love to see some most popular pedals like Tube Screamer, Hall of Fame, BOSS DS, Big Muff's etc.
Also I want you to know, you really made me choose Micro Dark Terror for my amplifier upgrade! I've been searching for so long to find something nice, what's not breaking bank and here we are. Love your vids mate and keep doing!
Thanks dude is super appreciated. That is the way I think I will do any Pedal demos in the future. Problem I’ve had with doing Pedal demos in the past is not alot of people watch them. It might be a think good I could do in a short or something in the future for the big classic pedals 👍
Is it the sound of a stock HB JA60 ? Because it sounds very good ! nice video.
Yes! But it's from when they had Wilkinson Pickups as standard, I believe they now have Roswells 👍
Hi, great job!
Can i use the boss gt1 multi effect pedal in the fx loop of the amp?
Only would use,.. COMPRESSOR, EQUALIZER, Reverb and Delay
THANKS so MUCH
CHRIS from Austria!
Yes you should be able to. I used a Line 6 POD (with amp + cab turned off) in the FX Loop for Reverb 👍
Can anyone recommend a good cab/ speaker for the Jackman ? Thx
Great video. Unfortunately not my experience trying one out in a shop. Was lacking gain and took OD and boost pedals bad. :(
You were probably using the pedals wrong.
@@DirtyMike702 i had that problem once to trying a few out in stores, until i figured it out, but if you don't know how pedals work that's a problem on it's own.
but as far as these Joyo Bandamps go, they don't sound good on there own.
that's why he was domestrasted 10 and 12 speaker cabinets,
that's the best way to use them. i have one with a 10 speaker for home use,
but i have a different one.
sorry.. i can't understand if you put something in the fx loop or just a cable
2:15 is this is a song? or just a deno
Great video, clearly demo's the amp, which sounds nothing like any Marshall I know....
What i should do?, Get this or the code 100h Marshall?
Very different amps. The Joyo gets you a Marshall JCM style amp. The code models all of the classic Marshall amps and has FX built in. I’d prefer the Joyo for Marshall style tone over the code but it really depends on what you want 👍
Get the joyo it’s hybrid amp me I got tube preamp and solid state power amp, just get this and nice cab and use pedals to get what ever kind of sound you want
Get the joyo, the code are horrible sounding digital amps, better off with a dsl1
the amp needs 2x12? or the sound comes from the same metallic box.
Needs a cab, there Is a way to send the audio to an audio interface and load an ir
Needs a cabinet, could be 1x12, 2x12 or 4x12 👍
What's your best neck pickup for Telecaster?
The one in my Tele is the Custom Shop Twisted Tele neck pickup. It's the best clean pickup I've ever used. It's not muddy like some necks and not harsh 👍
Go look at the Arcane 41, bloody awesome!
I have Seymour Duncan Hot Teles on a couple of my guitars.
Is it good for gigs?
Dirty is loud enough, cleans maybe not loud enough without a mic 🎙 Both sound excellent though 👍
Plenty. Everyone mics anymore. Don’t need more than a single 10”
@@loganbrown9845exactly this. Sold my 100 watt head. Not necessary anymore. 10-20 watt mini heads for me from now on.
@@kadrocker5159i have recently made the jump into these small amps, I absolutely love them. Picked up an Orange Micro Dark, sold off my Vox AC10 and Boss Katana, I do not regret that decision one bit!
Question for you: is a 1 watt amp head something that could work for home recording, gigging, etc. if mic'd properly? Im looking at the Marshall DSL1 head, but I'm hearing mixed feedback from people.
I've got one. Far away from marshall tone as u can hear in this video. Sounds crap, stay away!
Stay away from your post is more like it. Anybody who doesn’t state why it’s crap is either 15 or clueless on how to eq an amp. Probably both 🙄
