A look inside the Forum Shops of Caesars Palace and the Strip outside in 1992.
The Forum Shops had an animatronic statue show "Festival Fountain show" that started in 1992 and Bacchus was removed in 2014. It was reported that no one could understand the God of Wine after his opening commandment, stated above. I guess diction is tough being made of marble...
“Let the festivities begin!” he shouts as the other Gods, Venus, Apollo, and Pluto, join the party. I think not understanding what he is saying is part of the show as they are all drunk from the Godly wine.
They did this 14 times a day, I feel sorry for the shopkeepers. Neptune and the Fall of Atlantis show (statue & fountain seen at the beginning of this clip) ran for much longer, probably due to less dialog and more sizzle.
Step outside for some desert air with a look at Harrah's Showboat, Imperial Palace, The Flamingo, Ballys, and Ceasars itself.

Ah those 90s era slot machines. Now all the casinos look like arcades for little kids, with themes that look like they are geared for children. Back then slot machines had simple sophisticated artwork, you knew it was for adults, there were moving mechanics, physical buttons, simple beeps, and thats all you needed.
