We're going to find out in this social experiment that features 10 single women, 10 single men, and their 10 different cars.
The non-enthusiast women rate each car based on how attractive it would be in a potential date. Which car will they rank the highest, and lowest?

Thanks so much! It's an idea I had way back in high school (back when I was single and REALLY cared about such things!).
I just didnt have the ability or platform to make it happen. It's been very gratifying to finally bring it to life, especially with such a great panel of women, and glad to hear you've been enjoying it.

My wife and I just got one of these monsters last year. Drove it 9000+ miles on a trip and after returning home on the 1st of Nov, a driver in a Honda CRV turned right in front of us, at the point of my not being able to avoid him. We struck head-on and the impact totalled our Navigator. But neither my wife or myself suffered any injuries. We have since replaced the Navigator with an identical vehicle due to our love for it's features and we also use it for towing trailers with motorcycles around the USA.
Woah. After that experience I don’t blame you! These are some of the safest cars on the road and a really nice place to spend your time.

I've never had the chance to experience the navigator as I'm in Australia, but I'dprobably equiv it to the Toyota Landcruiser (or Lexus) wagons we have here. they're the safest thing to be in hands down. especially when we fit steel bull bars
@@shaned1926 That's a fair comparison. Biggest difference between the Land Cruiser and the Navigator is the Navigator is a bit bigger, and more focused on luxury vs going off road than the Cruiser.

I feel better having seen the driver BUT MY COMMENTS STILL STAND. I live in an area where I get menaced by Navigators so my experience has been 98% negative. But I do feel better knowing this guy is a cosplayer and probably makes use of that sweet storage space.
Cosplayers seem to need an OBSCENE amount of room in their vehicles, dont they?

hmm. the opinions are very good food for thought. I've recently read some articles on women's perception of the type of owner/driver based on marque and specific color. so far these ladies don't offer the same stereotyping opinions as the articles claim. glad to be seeing some first hand opinions. this series is really fun.

That's a big reason I wanted to make this...To, you know, ACTUALLY hear from women!

hey brad, tell me, what would the ladies think of the suzuki samurai. in Aus it's badged as Sierra. it was my first car (85 soft top) and I dated my wife in it. all her school friends thought it was soooo cool. they felt like they were in Dawson's creek, so my wife tells me (whatever Dawson's creek was??) like a mini wrangler I guess.
They'd probably love it UNTIL I let them know about the lack of safety features/AC/high rollover risk. You'll see from future episodes how important safety factors into their judgements!
@@RetroCarsForever Lol ha yeah. my wife was in senior high when we started dating I was 22, safety wasn't high on the list. funny thing, we still don't really think about safety when purchasing a vehicle. service and reliability are our top priority. hmm, could be because safety costs money and we're kinda tight arse. 🤔
@@shaned1926 well nowadays you have to go to “classic” cars (early 90s and older) to get a car without airbags/abs/crumple zones/safety cells/etc! All that stuff is standard on any car built after that time for the most part.

though to clarify, many people will only consider cars that have 5 star ANCAP. we are not so worried about it. in Aus market most 5 star ANCAP dealer new vehicles do not fall into our budget.

@@RetroCarsForever I’ve always been into Full size SUVs and pickup trucks and while I was younger my mom always had a couple of these SUVs she still does so I grew up driving them now I wouldn’t want to own a vehicle smaller than an Full size SUV
@@bryanmesser7098 Any reason you prefer these Fords to the GM SUVs of the era? Or is that personal nostalgia?
I've driven the GMs but not these Ford/Lincolns (though I've ridden in a few)
@@RetroCarsForever so the GM vehicles in the earlier days did not have as much room and also never towed as much . I’m not a big GM fan to begin with however they are good and solid vehicles and will last awhile if you take care of them
@@bryanmesser7098 I dont prefer either GM or Ford, I've owned PLENTY of both. But yeah I see plenty of those GM trucks running around with tons of miles.
BUT what about a Signature Lincoln Town Car lol. Saw one on the street for $5000. Looked fine and was contemplating on buying it
I think most women would view that as a "Grandpa Car" and it would score pretty low! Not "modern luxury" by any stretch.
Now that said, I think they're great! Exceptional luxury, reliability, and comfort for a great bargain.
@@RetroCarsForevergood thing im 24. I would picture a young guy driving this would probably catch someone off guard, but hey theyre starting to grow on me and I think i can make driving this car look great on me!

Interesting idea for a video, this is a 3rd generation (pre-2015 refresh) model, would be interesting to hear reactions on a 2018 or newer model, or even better the next model that comes out in 2022
Thanks! I theorize that a newer model would've done a bit better, but not too much...After all it's still a big Lincoln SUV, compared to some VERY different cars.
I was also careful to only select cars that fit underneath the $40k (in today's value) price cap. That's about the average price of a new car these days. So a lot of the newer Navigators would be too expensive for this test.

Im guessing it'd be pretty similar to this Lincoln. I tried to find 10 vehicles for this test that sort of represented different genres of cars, so this covers the "big luxury suv" genre.
Your Infiniti might've scored a titch better than the Lincoln, as I suspect the younger ladies would have a higher opinion of Infiniti vs Lincoln. But most of whats said here would probably carry over to the QX56.

I paid top dollar for mine because it was a Collector Edition, with the rare LT4 engine, and with only 32k miles. I'll just say between 15k and 20k.
Most C4s are MUCH cheaper than that though. In fact i want to make a video in the future discussing C4 values. But for now, what are you looking at exactly?
